Jessie knew she was a coward, running away from the problem and hoping it would go away. But she couldn't fight her adversary if she didn't even know where he was. Besides, she was too weak to do that. Jessamine was more of a burden to her group than a strong, capable leader.
So all Jessie was going was sitting near the border, eyes flickering everywhere and feeling like she was going to break down and cry.
