    Strider Lannister

    CONSPIRE AGAINST THE ODDS

The king wanted him to give a tour of the place he had just been captured from? With the capturer still on the loose, as far as he knew? Strider froze a moment, unsure of what to do, but eventually reasoned it was just a task. Others would be there, he wouldn't be alone. With a curt nod the cheetah stalked off to complete his task.

    Hallo !

I'm Baratheon, but most people call me Bara. My character count fluctuates depending on my muse, but I think I currently have 5?

I've been on this site a heckin' long time and honestly it has helped me become a better writer and creator.

Outside of the site tho I'm a huge nerd, especially with old movies like Star Wars/Trek and Ghostbusters and whatnot. I can name all the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park. I am also a big theatre nerd and am usually/constantly singing or reenacting things around my house. Board games and roller coasters are A++

I play Strider obviously and he is my oldest character. He has been here for about two years now? He has been in Westeros almost that whole time and led the place for nearly a year before dying and coming back as an amnesiac. He's my favorite of all time. ^_^

I also have Cassian, an angry space jaguar who just wants to go home in WindClan, Improv, Deathstroke's daughter who's new but I hope to do some fun stuff with her, Poe, a pilot who was once leader of the Rebellion but is now on the run from Darth Vader, and Destrian, a nerdy kid from the Sanctuary and ShadowClan.

Strider glanced at Ace at Oliver's question, but refocused his attention soon after. This was a little weird still, but helped him think through his strategy.

"I fall, but roll to the side and attempt to swipe at your front feet."

//*is now having intense Meg feels* nooo

That came completely out of nowhere. He and Jonsi had been boyfriends? Sure, Strider had liked some people here and there but never a real, serious relationship. Wow. A real boyfriend? Strider found himself smiling a little at that, his eyes focusing on some point over Meg's head. He tried to imagine it, and found he could easily, almost as if it had actually happened- well, wait, it had! What was he thinking? The memories of him and Jonsi came flashing back, almost all at once, too much to comprehend. He had had a boyfriend in the time he was missing. If he could forget something that major, what else was there?

"Wow, Meg, I-" He turned his gaze back to her and realized she looked a little down about it. Oh. Strider calmed himself quickly, something that was easy for him to do, and hesitantly flicked her cheek with his tail. "You're not a mess, Meg. You're a really great f-friend, and-" and well, Jonsi wasn't exactly around anymore. Other than these sudden memories, Strider didn't know the guy. He liked Meg, moreso than just as friends, but she seemed hindered by this past she knew and he didn't. Her statement of 'over it' though, caused him to pause. She was over him? His shoulders fell a little at the thought; perhaps he had missed his chance long ago. "I-I'm glad to hear it...?" He murmured.

Was that Fortinbras shouting? Strider was a curious person anyways, but the source of the noise only made him more so. The cheetah padded over, ears pricked to listen. What could Fortinbras possibly have to announce? He seemed very happy and excited about it, whatever it was.

He had been given the wonderful task of giving a tour of Lannisport. On any other day, Strider would have been glad to do so. He was fiercely proud of his house and his lands, and was always up for showing them off. But with the recent events, now all the Lannister could see was moving shadows and suspicious faces. How did he know that box wasn't hiding a pirate? Or that that rope was there to trip him up and catch him?

Strider had eventually taken up a post near the very front of the port, closer to the city, and was sitting calmly. He could do this. "Tour of Lannisport, gather here!"

The cheetah greeted the first two with a small bow. The name Diana Targaryen sounded familiar; perhaps he had once met one in the past or read about one in history. Bakerpaw was a completely new name, on the other hand. "Hello. I am Strider Lannister," He responded, "I will be your guide today."

The next person to approach was, surprise, surprise, Meg. Strider offered her a large, knowing smile as she introduced herself as well. "An absolute pleasure to meet you, Meg." His gaze was torn away by Ace's silent approach, and Strider's smile didn't lessen as he gazed at his old friend. This seemed a good enough group for now, and others could join in later if they wanted. Straightening up, the feline began walking. "Follow me."

Strider was fond of the beach, but not obsessed with it. A trip every once in awhile, especially with friends, was always fun. And so, after getting a message from Meg that she was hosting a picnic on the beach, the young man had been eager to attend. The breeze blew his golden blonde hair around as he made his way over to where the group seemed to be assembling.

Strider wore a pair of dark red and black swim trunks, but went shirtless. He wasn't doing it to show off- in fact, he felt a little self-conscious after seeing Fortinbras wearing one- but instead simply didn't want to get a shirt all wet. Plus, it was a nice day out. Might as well get a little tan. He had a bag slung over his shoulder which he set down nearby, offering a wave to his friends. "Hi everyone."

Strider was glad the king was making an effort to thank everyone and make sure everyone kept up to date on things. Despite this, the cheetah had almost zoned out when he realized his name had been called. A chevalier? Wow, he had definitely not been expecting that. Offering a small smile of surprise and thanks, Strider called, "Thank you, my Lord. And congrats, Meg and Sylmae."

Count on Fortinbras to make him feel welcome. Strider gave a grin to the other, one he would almost consider a friend. He was a little surprised at the compliment but wasn't about to argue with Fort. "Thanks. You do too," He replied casually as well. At the offer of some chips, he eagerly dipped his hand in and grabbed a small handful, munching on his new snack. "Anything interesting happen yet?" It didn't look it, but he might as well ask.

And then Meg spoke up. She didn't seem to notice him straightaway, but when she did, her comment made Strider's cheeks warm. Had he brought a shirt to put on? A brief mental check informed him that, no, he hadn't brought one. The fault was on him then, but Meg was Meg, so the comment was to be expected. He nodded to her with a smile, but played with his hands awkwardly. What did he say in response to that?

Thankfully he was saved by Hannah and Sylmae approaching and speaking, so the blonde male simply stood off to the side, eating his chips.

Strider wanted to take a hike. He liked being outside and walking, and with friends it made it all the more better. He had been approaching when he noticed Meg and Bakerpaw talking. They seemed to be getting along well; maybe he should let them be? The cheetah paused a few paces off. Should he interfere? He felt a little pang at the thought of leaving Meg alone with someone else- why? he wasn't sure. Meg was a grown person who could take care of herself and it's not like he had any feelings or anything for her, right? Haha, that would be crazy... But she seemed pretty cool with Bakerpaw. Oh, and there was Mae now too. Yep, he should definitely go.

Oh well. With a small shrug and sigh, Strider turned about and left, leaving the two to their hike. It was all good.

//Just wanted to kind of post but not really bc I want to see these two interact XD

Strider would have gone for anything Cel needed, but it appeared she had everything. Instead, the cheetah took a stand behind Meg and watched in concern. Although he personally didn't know Radioactiveplague, the name sounded awful enough. Hearing that someone needed to go tell Jaehaerys, Strider perked up. He was fast, he could do that. And Bo seemed to want to stay there anyways, to be with her friends. "I'll go tell him," He murmured before taking off, a streak of gold.

Strider had only been to Winterfell once or twice before, and he didn't believe they were ever casual occasions. The place was cold, colder than Casterly Rock, but not unbearable. Oliver seemed eager to share his home, and so Strider would go to support his old friend. Plus, he was curious.

"Hello everyone. Oliver, Meg, Bakerpaw," The chevalier greeted, flicking an ear. His hazel eyes lingered on Meg a moment before flickering back to Oliver. "I'm very intruiged to see your home."

"I'll play too," Strider commented, taking a seat next to Sylmae since it was open. His eyes flickered between Meg and Fort a moment before settling on the latter. He wouldn't mind playing either game, but couldn't really think of any lies or truths to tell. He was more or less an open, boring book. "I'm good with either." He brushed some blonde bangs back with a hand, enjoying the warm breeze. This really was nice, and Fort was laying down the compliments hard. Was he being extra nice or was something going on? Hmm...

    //Hey no worries
    Apologies for lateness again DX

Something passed between the two Strider couldn't exactly name. He could see it in her eyes, and he knew he was feeling it, but... What was it? It was like the two of them kept avoiding one thing but were trying to hide it from each other... Only to hide what they really wanted to say. It was sad, but the moment was gone. It was too late now, and it might be forever. Strider didn't know. All he could think was that he was a fool and should have just spoken his mind. Better to get it out than keep it in forever, right? Or maybe he was misreading something and he was wrong? With a sigh, the cheetah cut off his thoughts there and instead tried to focus on what Meg was now saying. They had raced horses? Them? He hadn't known the female was a rider, but apparently she was.

"Oh, um... I don't really remember racing horses, but I do remember you falling. Were we racing?" He asked, shaking his head to clear it, "I didn't know you could ride a horse."

Strider's ears pricked up in interest. An academy? In Westeros? That was actually a brilliant idea. Newcomers and members alike could learn Westeros history, art, culture... Maybe he could finally learn to play an instrument! But what could he offer Fortinbras? He had a few skills up his sleeve, but none were quite spectacular. "I could teach navigation and geography," The cheetah spoke up after a pause, "I know Westeros' lands very well, and have done some travelling in my days."
