Fawnpaw studied him for a few seconds, then smiled from the compliment. "Fank youf!" She said through the feathers. She then gestured to keep waking and continued back to camp.

Eos nodded to Mother. "Yes ma'am. I will, thank you!" She then looked over at Calliphora, "You wanna bet?" Eos challenged. "I bet I could catch more buzzards than you." Her tail flicked with eagerness at the idea.

Fawnpaw padded into camp, dashing quickly over to the fresh-kill pile. She placed the blackbird down and smiled with pride. It was a nice size blackbird and she hoped someone in the clan would enjoy it.

Fawnpaw pricked her ears and watched as Redpaw went into the apprentice's den. He is tired...must of overtrained. She shrugged and walked over to a nice patch of sunshine. Settling down in the warmth, she sighed with contentment and laid there sprawled out.

Roseblossom was already awake. She sat in the medicine cat den, muttering to herself as she went through her herb store. Her paws were gentle with the leaves and berries to make sure she wouldn't break or rip any of them.

Roseblossom jumped a bit when Nightstar spoke to her, "Oh good morning, Nighstar." She greeted and then sighed, "We are low on Catmint and Coltsfoot. There was a lot of sickness in winter and I want to begin stocking again just to be safe." She smiled a bit. "I might take Frogpaw out later and show her where to find this new growing patch where I found a bunch of catmint."

Roseblossom flicked her ears, hearing her name being called. She turned her head and saw a slightly annoyed Cliffherb sitting outside the elder's den. "Just one second!" She called back to the elder.

Roseblossom nodded to Nightstar and gave a smile to Cliffherb. "It was almost like yesterday." She mewed with nostalgia, her eyes looking dreamy as she went through memories. She then blinked and realized that she needed to be doing her duties. "What's wrong Cliffherb?" She asked gently.

IC: As Roseblossom waited for an answer and glanced over at her apprentice eating and talking with the other apprentices. She felt a surge of pride, seeing that Frogpaw was very shy. She was very happy that she had finally began to be able to start conversations.

Roseblossom nodded, "I see. Maybe your nest is damp. I'll have a warrior send their apprentice or I might even send Frogpaw later today." She passed over to her herb store and got some comfry, chewing it into a pulp. She took the pulp and rub it onto the elder's shoulder.

Roseblossom finished applying the pulp and smiled, "There." She gave a look of satisfaction. "Come back every other sundown and I'll keep putting comfry on it until the stiffness goes away."

I forgot to mention, Mousepaw and Roseblossom are siblings. -
Roseblossom stiffed a small laugh, "Well, Mousepaw can be a bit...energetic. She loves to make everyone happy. I guess the apprentices need a good laugh every once and while." She said gently. She then frowned a bit, "I hate to ruin Frogpaw's fun but we need to go and train...Frogpaw!" Roseblossom called out to the apprentice and beckoned her with a swish of her tail.

Roseblossom nodded. "I need to show you this new patch of Catmint I found and then we need to harvest some stalks." She explained. "I'll see you later, Cliffherb." She gave a nod of respect to her mentor and padded out of the den, "Let's go."

"Nothing awful." Roseblossom said with a smile. "Just a stiff shoulder. If she comes up to the den and I'm not around, make sure to give her comfry and apply it to her shoulder." She explained. "If she seems in pain give her a poppy seed." She continued at a semi-slow pace while she talked.

Roseblossom paused and turned to face her apprentice. "Frogpaw. When you asked to become my apprentice, I knew you would be great. That's why I accepted. I have no doubt in my mind that you will be a perfect medicine cat. Even though I may pass on later in life, I will always be by your side. You don't have to worry." She smiled and gave the small she-cat an affectionate nuzzle on the cheek.
