In a funk? What does that mean?

Tigrisblossom was lying in the nursery resting her head in the soft moss when she felt a squirming in her belly. Her eyes snapped open as she realized the kits are coming very soon.

I'm sorry, I just never heard that phrase before...in a funk...sounds like something my sister would say.

"Ummm...yeah. I think the kits are coming Riversoul," she meowed with excitement.

Tigrisblossom felt a churning in her stomach and then a little gray tabby kit appeared. She began to lick it to keep it warm. Then she felt it again and another kit appeared, this time snowy white. She did the same for this one, licking it vigorously. Again pain consumed her and another kit came, this one ginger colored.
She was so overjoyed that she had given birth to the wonderful babes and used her snout to guide them to her stomach to suckle. "Fastheart!" She called out to her mate to come over and see the newborns. "I think I'm gonna name the gray one Lilykit, the white one Angelkit, and the orange one Flightkit," she meowed. "What do you think? Aren't they the most beautiful creatures you've ever seen?" she purred.

"Why thank you, Honeycomb," Tigrisblossom meowed happily.

Yeah, I go to a Christian school and I agree with you. But most Christians I know accept people of different religions even though they don't believe in it.
