a long-furred golden tabby was making her way through a bramble bush. the tabby, whose name was golden spins, opened her manible and drew scent over her glands. her beautiful eyes, blue and green mixed, closed as she scented another cat. golden edged her way carefully, her eyesight being worser then her hearing or scenting. The she-cat sighed as she turned tail. she closed her eyes again, and began running through the trees at the top of the cliff.

a small, bengal tom was shivering in front of the trainee's den. the tom, whose name was leopardpaw, slowly wrapped his tail around his paws and the shivering stopped slightly. he didn't really feel like moving around today, but was decided to be muted, not speaking. leopardpaw shifted his sitting postiton a little and coiled his tail neatly besides his tail. the trainee closed his hazel-amber eyes and sighed.

the elegant white she-cat was stalking a mouse. the hunter inched closer, her claws digging into the ground delightfully. whisperingsongs again edged forward before lashing out a white blur of a paw, claws catching the mouse on its side. at the same moment, she snapped forward and grabbed the mouse in her jaws. her white bushy tail arched over her back in pleasure before shaking out her fur, the cream rippling throughout her flank and tail. whisperingsongs disappeared into the rough undergrowth, appearing again in front of the camp entrance. she dived into the camp, stretching out. whisperingsongs' golden-yellow eyes glowed with emotion as she padded by the fresh-kill pile.
