Avient blinked open his eye and saw the beam of moonlight shining on the seemingly dead kit. Could she really be alive? He though hopefully.

Terra was still standing guard in front of her and her cubs' den. She was waiting for her mate to return. He had gone to fight in the battle, and she got more worried, for the moon was descending in the sky. Melon pattered to her side and whispered, "Mom? When is Dad getting back? I miss him."
Coyo and Lucia joined us, "We miss him too." They said in unision.
Terra sighed and shook her head, "I don't know, my sweets."

Tigerfern looked over at Mountainfrost. "Of course you did." She agreed.

Tidestar beamed at the apprentice. "Do you promise to uphold the warrior code and defend your clan, even at the cost of your own life?"

OOC: Any particular name you guys want for Fernpaw and Blackpaw?

Terra's cubs raced back into the den and she could hear them playing through the brambles.
She let out a low howl, a howl she used to communicate with her mate. She needed to know if he was still alive.

OOC: Can somebody play her mate? They're wolves by the way.

Shade narrowed his eyes and looked at Diamond. He stepped to her side. "That's up to her." He answered.

Avient sat up quickly and whispered, "Artimes! Artimes! Wake up, look!" He stared at the now alive kit.

OOC: Well I'll just say that Milkheart has a surprise for her at the next half-moon. ;)

IC: Tidestar dipped his head. "Starclan honors your speed and bravery. And from this day forward, you shall be known as Fernsoul."

Wolfpaw chanted the loudest out of all the cats, "Fernsoul! Fernsould! Fernsoul! Fernsoul!"

Milkheart started chanting Fernsoul's name, so did Tigerfern.

Avient stood up and padded over to the kit. He picked her up by the scruff and brought her to Artimes, smiling. He lay the kit down in front of her.

Shade looked at Diamond hopefully. "Diamond, she needs it more than you. Please, give it to her. You'll be saving a life." He murmured, his eyes pleading with her.

OOC: Yep, looks like we do. ^~^

IC: Once again, Avient curled around his mate, this time, he was happy.

IC: Terra looked into the den. Suddenly, she heard a snarl. "Traitor!"
She turned back around to see a wolf, black as night, with cold black eyes, staring at her.
She gasped. "Leave." She told him softly. "You are the traitor. To my family. I'll never forget what you did."
He snarled and whispered, "Fine," before turning and running away through the forest.
Terra heard paw steps and Coyo came out, his fur bristling.
"Was that Coal?" He growled. "He killed granddaddy!"
"I know." Terra replied, nudging him back in the den. "Go back to sleep, it's late out."
"But what about you, Mama? Aren't you going to come?" He barked.
Terra shook her head, and shooed the cub back into the den

Falconstar waited for Blackmoon's reply.

Tidestar nodded. "Wolfpaw, come here."

Wolfpaw stood up, brushing pelts with Fernsoul as he passed, and walked up to Tidestar.

Tidestar asked him the same thing and he said yes.

"Starclan honors your wisdom and loyalty, and from now on you will be known as Wolfheart." Tidestar called out. Wolfheart dipped his head and bounded down.

Shade clutched his teeth around Amenti's scruff and ran after Diamond. "Come on!" He yelled to Misty.

Ferntail purred.

Terra's short fur ruffled in the cold night air. "When will he get here?" She whimpered. If he's even alive She reminded herself.
She decided to hunt. She hadn't eaten since the battle started. She stood and stretched, her white fur glistening in the dark.
When she returned from hunting, she brought back a hare. She set it down and ate it hungrily.

Wolfheart sat beside Fernsoul and licked her cheek, purring. "Hi, beautiful." He meowed.

Tidestar shuffled slightly, sat down, and stood up again. "Blackpaw, come here." He called.

"Leave her be." Shade growled, digging his claws in the dirt.

Terra spotted Night coming towards the den, and she leaped up. "Night!" She exclaimed, relieved. She trotted up to him and buried her head in his fur. "I'm so glad you're alright." She murmured.
She looked back into the den. "The cubs are all fast asleep. They'll be happy to see you."

Shade stepped threateningly towards the two toms. "You haven't got anybody. Leave them be." He meowed quietly.
