OOC: hi~ Just tell me what we're doing and I'm so in!

IC: Seth glared at his maid, hazel eyes burning right through her. "What do you want now, you stupid girl? Can't you see that I'm busy?" he spat and the small white cat sitting on his lap mewled in agreement, butting his hand in a demand for more attention. His expression softened and he offered the feline a smile, but the maid didn't receive such kindness.
It was unlikely that she ever would. "Well?" Seth hissed.
    "M - my lord, there's a boy -"
"A boy?" he interrupted, sounding so gleefully interested that the maid couldn't help but feel sorry the boy.
    "Yes, my lord."
"Well, Mara, it looks like we'll be getting a new playmate. How fun."
Mara meowed accusingly. "Of course not, my dear. You'll always be my favourite pet." he soothed, then turned his attention back to the maid. "Bring him to me."

OOC: where are we going with this? Like, are Ivy's parents gonna die? Will Ivy run? What's going to happen?

Eliana moved fast and stealthily, though she had nothing on Seth. Jealousy made itself known to her, which was ridiculous. He was a vampire. Of course he was a natural at slinking through the shadows undetected. Still, she felt relieved when they came to a stop at some bushes near the log cabin. "We go in through the window." she said.
"Why not the door? You humans are stupid, complicating things like that." Seth mumbled.
She didn't bother with a reply, but glared at him all the same. "On the count of three." whispered Eliana, preparing herself for the sensation of glass biting into her skin. "One, two, thr -"
A yell from the cabin distracted her. She looked around for Seth. He wasn't there. An open door told her all she needed to know. "Of course the bloody vampire goes in through the door. Of course."

OOC: mmkay. Rice! *cackles insanely and dances around a rice bowl*

IC: Seth looked Ivy over nonchalantly, as if he hadn't heard her demand. She was pretty, he supposed, but probably useless. He highly doubted that she had fed. Ever. Maybe with just a little guidance... "The name's Seth, little halfbreed." he answered, pleased at the prospect of someone finally using his name. "You might want to run. Human's displeased with your parents."
And she was probably even more displeased with him.

Eliana raced into the cabin, concerned that Seth had ruined everything. "That's enough, vampire. I don't need you." she said, almost to herself.
Keeping him was only going to cause problems, she saw that now. She felt a little tingle. The oath recognising that it was complete. Eliana turned her attention to Ivy's parents. "Hello. Do mind telling which of you is the traitor and which is the vampire?"
    Upstairs, Seth grinned.

Oh, a dhampir is a half vampire. As in, they have one vampire parent and one human parent. I don't think there's anything in Harry Potter about dhampirs. Seth can just be a vampire if that's easier, but I'm not really that confident with normal vampires because there's so many stories about them that all the facts blur together. You know, for some reason I keep wanting to call him Sethikins, but I doubt he'd appreciate it.

Seth blinked, trying to pretend he didn't feel a sudden urge to hug her. Jeez, he was so pathetic. Hopefully, it wouldn't be too obvious. "That's what you are, little halfbreed, and apparently calling people by their species rather than their name is the newest trend. Why don't you tell me your name just to spite the stupid humans and their stupid complications?" he grinned, then frowned.
    They really needed to go.

"Don't be difficult, else I'll need to kill both of you." Eliana feigned apathy.
She wanted to goad them into a fight. If they were angry, they would be rash. Perhaps the traitor should die first. That would distract the vampire. She fingered the knife in her pocket. Hmm, cutting off the head or a stake through the heart?

Eliana allowed herself to giggle at Arwen's behaviour, though the idea of anything knowing her better than she knew herself deeply disturbed her. So what that it was a hat? It might tell someone about that. Panic started to bubble up inside her chest at the very thought. Clenching her fists and squeezing her eyes shut, she took a deep breath, then another. "Really?" she asked, feeling nowhere near as calm as she sounded. "What are they?"
Personally, she thought Gryffindor was self-destructive and his bravery was just his way of feeling in control; Hufflepuff sounded like she had a pleasing complex; Ravenclaw reminded her of her uncle, who had High Functioning Autism, and Slytherin acted like he had Compulsive Lying Disorder. She figured it was best to keep these opinions to herself.
