Will pulled the knife out of the wall and shakily held it in his hands. He looked around trying to see if it were possible to climb up the wall. The wall was slick there was no way to get up it. His attackers were much larger than him, and he saw no escape. Will lunged at the man who threw the dagger at him and slit his throat. He held him up and used him bleeding body as a shield. The second attacker pulled out a sword and quickly plunged it through the body and it pierced his leg. Will cried out in pain and discarded the body. He clutched the dagger in front of him and jumped at the attacker, the man kicked him in midair and sent his frail body flying, Will hit the wall and a shrill whining noise filled his ears. Will threw the dagger lazily and saw it hit his ear. Will took the chance to jump up, ignoring the searing pain in his leg and grabbed the dagger before stabbing him in the eye and then repeatedly stabbing his gut. Will stood up, wiped the blood of his hands onto his pant leg and hobbled away.

William blinked a few times, he had just regained consciousness and was highly unaware of what was going on. He didn't know what had brought him to this strange place. He shook his head to get his black hair out of his eyes. He was in a seat but there was nothing restraining him to the chair. The male pulled his wrists apart to see how well his captors had tied his arms together. He could hardly move them and his legs were tied in a fashion so that he could hardly spread his thin legs apart. His mother had advised him to gain some weight, and William was happy he hadn't listened. His weight may have made it easy for his captors to catch him, but his skinniness made it harder to properly restrain him. William tried to stand up but his legs were tied so that the ropes would tighten drastically around his legs if he attempted to stand up. William searched the room anxiously, if he could break the binds on his wrist he would be able to walk out. In the distance he saw a slight glimmer, he forced himself onto the floor and squirmed over to the source of the glint. He blinked a few times to make sue his crystal blue eyes saw correctly, and he was astounded, it was bear trap! If he went through with it, he might be heavily injured. He brought his wrists down to the mouth of the trap and rubbed against the trap. He felt the cool metal saw through the ragged ropes and smiled. he pushed through and felt it scratch his skin. He ignored the slight prick and kept sawing through. After a few moments, he felt the relief of having freedom to move his arms. He untied his mouth gag and quickly freed his legs. He ran to the left door and opened it a bit, he noticed a group of fat, drunk men laughing in that room. William ran to the other door and opened it, this door was much cooler, and in it was a hungry dog. The dog lunged at him but William stepped out of the way and threw a piece of discarded glass towards the door. The dog ran to the door and burst through, attacking his captors. William ran as fast as his short legs would carry him he ran past the chaos and ran outside. When he made I out, he noticed the windows were covered, so he had no more worries about being caught.

"Axxel..." Johnathan muttered confusedly trying to gather his thoughts, "All this time.." Axxel stood in the distance, laughing with his new found partner. "You haven't been leading me to the killer, you've been taking me away from it.."
He yanked out a clump of his dark brown hair, "You BETRAYED ME!" He screamed. Johnathan collapsed to his knees on the cold hard ground and pounded his fists on the wall. "You LIAR! YOU GODFORSAKEN BASTARD! I TRUSTED YOU!" He angrily wiped his tears off his face and stood up shakily. Johnathan was well-built, with formidable muscles and a deadly stare.
Johnathan stormed outside knocking down everything in his path. He walked up to Axxel and his girlfriend and forcefully shoved her to the ground. Axxel tried to hold his comrade back but it was no use, Johnathan dealt the screaming girl a good kick in the stomach and caused her to throw up everywhere. "Johnny! Enough! What is your problem?!" Axxels blonde hair coincided with his soft blue eyes, all the girls wanted him.
Johnathan spat on his face, "My problem? My problem is that you are a little liar." Johnathan laughed like a psychopath, "'I think I know who killed them!' You said, 'We are almost there' You said."
Axxel glared at Johnathan, "What are you saying?"
Johnathan dealt a strong punch to his jaw, causing him to fall backwards, unlike Johnathan, Axxel was much smaller, but still a danger if he had a knife. "I AM SAYING YOU ARE A LIAR!" He screamed in his face. "You... STABBED MY MOTHER! CHOKED MY FATHER!" He punched Axxel in the throat, hardening his ability to breathe. "Did you like it? Did you like watching me fall for your cruel ploy, you had me like a fish on a hook. But you didn't reel the fish in fast enough." Johnathan laughed, "And the fish is going to end you now." Johnathan picked up a large rock the size of his hand, and chucked it at his face. He heard the crunch, and looked away, he knew he had dealt the final blow, and he didn't feel any better.
Johnathan looked at his blood stained hands, "Is this it? Have I become like him, a ruthless killer?" Johnathan walked back to the house and tied a noose slowly while humming a lullaby, "Have I pleased you mother? Look at me now.. I hope I don't see you where I am going..." He hung up the noose and fastened it around his neck. All this work, to have it end like this, what a waste. He wiped the tears from his eyes and looked around, "I did the right thing... Right?" Then he pushed the chair out from under him and was engulfed by the eternal blackness. -
Troy bundled up his golden hair in his hands and reread the question. He had just recently entered college and couldn't even answer the first question on his algebra 10 worksheet. Troy repeatedly tapped his foot on the ground, trying to figure out the possible mistakes. He frantically scribbled down some formulas and attempted for the 8th time to respond to the question. After coming out with the wrong answer once more he feverently erased the paper with clenched teeth.
Troy stared at the paper very fixadely until he heard Corbin walk in. Troy threw him a pleading look, "Did you do the math homework?"
Corbin smiled, "Bro we aren't even in the same math course, this isn't high school." Corbin walked over to Troy's math worksheet and grimaced, "Godspeed brother." Corbin laughed, grabbed his orange basketball and left. Troy cast a dark glare at the door.
He drummed his pencils on his math book, with white knuckles, he continuously added force until one of them snapped in half. He threw them onto the desk and ran his hand through his hair. Troy cast a hungry glance at his computer. He turned it on and scrolled through numerous pages of Google looking for hope, only to have his computer die when he was close to finding something.
Troy was lost, he was already failing algebra 10, and he needed to understand! Troy looked outside and sat down. He looked at the paper once more and saw what he was doing wrong the entire time!! Troy laughed out loud and found the solution fairly quickly. -
Kevin looked around and saw Her at her locker. The tall guy was awkward and shy, and She was graceful and petite. Her hair flowed down in unnatural midnight blue curls. Kevin wanted to approach Her, but anytime he tried to say something he choked up. Kevin began walking over to her, 'I will only ask ask her name and then leave her alone..' he thought inwardly. On his way Kevin tripped over one of his shoelaces and ended up ramming face first into the locker door. Creating a loud bang and he somehow ended up sprawled out on the ground.
The locker door flew forwards and hit Her in the face, "OUCH!" She cried, dropping her heavy textbooks onto Kevin's thin leg. "Oh my goodness!" She cried out in a sweet voice. She got down on her knees and crawled next to him. "Are you alright sir? I'm so sorry, I seem to have dropped my books on your leg."
Kevin gritted his teeth to keep from groaning, "Yeah it's alright." Once the shock passed over he realized that She finally spoke with him. "I'm sorry miss, its my fault I rammed into your locker." He chuckled, blushing furiously. He began to get up and brushed off his old Levis and his faded t-shirt.
She smiled and began picking up the books off of the ground. Her fishnet leggings were getting dirty and her short skirt made other guys stare at her inappropriately as her loose t shirt rose up. When she got up she seemed oblivious to the glares of the men staring hungrily. “It’s alright sir.” She kicked at the ground with her converse boots and blushed lightly. “My name is Catie, and what’s yours?” She pronounced it cat-ie, and everyone seemed to think she was crazy because her eyes and hair were the same bright shade of blue, not to mention nobody dressed like she did.
Kevin felt something lodge in his throat as he struggled to say her name. “Catie, what a nice name.” He choked. “My name is Kevin, I’m a junior, you are sophomore right?” He jutted his hand out, but tried to play it cool by stuffing it into his pocket instead.
Catie nodded, “Yeah I am a sophomore. I need to go to class, but it was nice meeting you Kevin!” She took out a sheet of blue paper and scrawled out her number and gave it to Kevin before running to class with her blue hair flying out behind her.
Catie sat down in the back of the classroom and buried her head in her hands. ‘Stupid, stupid, stupid!’ She thought. ‘Why would a junior ever want to talk to a strange sophomore like me? It was probably a dare or something…’ She took out her notebook and scribbled some notes down for the class, but her mind drifted elsewhere. Why was she so obsessed over a guy who she could never have?
In lunch she sat alone, all of her friends left her the day she dyed her hair blue. They said she used to be pretty, but then became crazy. Maybe it was for the best. She looked across the mess hall and saw Kevin walking over. Catie quickly fixed her hair and pulled out a small sandwich. ‘Just say hello, nothing more, and do not make eye contact..’ She thought to herself.
“What do you want, Kevin?” Och, that came out harsher than she meant it to.
Kevin sat down, and Catie frowned, how could she eat a sandwich when there was something much yummier sitting across from her?
Kevin frowned, “Why are you alone Catie?”
“Why do you care?” Catie was used to defending herself against harsh personas, and now it was all she knew.
Kevin shrugged, “It concerns me, I don’t want you to get hurt Catie.”
Catie stood up forcefully, “I never asked you to be concerned for me. I can handle myself Kevin.” Catie like the guy, but she didn’t like that he was taking a sudden interest in her. In fact, she could hardly control herself when he was near her. She walked away and threw away what was left of her sandwich. She sat back down. “I’m sorry Kevin, it is just that I am not used to people being concerned for me. Forgive me for being harsh.”
Kevin smiled, “It is no problem. I care about you..”
Catie blushed, “Thank you Kevin. You can drive right?”
Kevin nodded, “Yeah, would you like me to take you to a movie?”
“Actually I have a different idea.” Catie stated with a devilish smile.
That weekend:
Kevin was in his swim trunks and an old tee shirt. He planned to ask her out when the sun would be setting over the beach. He drove outside of the address and parked in her driveway. He honked the horn of the convertible and Catie ran out, her hair was still in its rich blue curls and she was wearing a blue cover up. She jumped in excitedly. “I haven’t been to the beach since my mom died!” Catie smiled widely.Kevin laughed and drove her to the shore. They got into the water first thing. And although the water should have made her hair loose definition and volume, it still looked beautiful when they got out. She wore a blue bikini that looked beautiful without looking like she was trying to expose so much skin. They sat on the shore and watched the sun go down. “Thank you so much Kevin.”
Kevin smiled and grabbed her hand. Catie gasped and felt her heart rate increase rapidly.
“Will you- will you be mine Catie?” Kevin swallowed the lump in his throat and tried to smile.
Catie bit her lip and threw her head back. “You're joking aren’t you. This was all some dare your friends made you do and now you will leave me and laugh about me with your friends and then get a legitimate girlfriend who has brown hair and green eyes and a small chest.”
Catie stood up, “Well let me tell you Kevin, I am not an idiot and I will not let you play with my feelings.” Catie ran away with tears threatening to leave her eyes, and Kevin ran after her.
“Catie, wait!” He called out. He grabbed her arm and she turned around and glared at him. “I love your blue hair and your smile and they way your voice sounds when you speak. I wouldn't play with your feelings like that because I don’t want to see you cry. I would rather see your blue eyes light up with joy and not with tears.”
Catie bit her lip and hugged him tightly, she cried into his chest and he rubbed her back. “I will be yours Kevin, damn it I will..” When Catie was done crying, they walked back to the shore in a blissful silence. She wouldn’t be alone anymore.. -

Looks -
Jack was sitting atop a hill when he heard the shouts emerging from below. He chuckled, how silly can those arguments possibly get? He gazed at the still water down below, it helped him pass the time. When suddenly he saw it rise up and gather. "How peculiar..." He muttered to himself. Jack ran down the mountain swiftly and hid in the forage along the side of the lake. Jack saw the young girl lowering the water slowly and was amazed at her skill. Jack edged closer to the lake, he had never been so far away from his territory and all hell could break lose if he was discovered, but he wanted to get a better look at the faraway girl. He bit his hand to keep from gasping when he saw her, a real live water bender. His father had kept him sheltered from the outside world and was very selective on who he met with, in fact he had never actually spoken to a girl before... It was probably better if he returned to the hilltop before his father discovered he was missing. Except he couldn't move his gaze from the alien events that were occurring in front of him.
-
Jack warily stepped out from behind the bushes and approached the girl. She looked like she was around his age but her talents were magnificent. He was unsure of what to say to her, so he moved some rock around with his foot and smiled shyly. It was too late to run back up the hill to the safety of the hill, and Jack found himself unabe to move his legs. He rubbed the back of his neck with his hand and decided to break the ice, "You practice a lot? It definitely shows cause that is really cool." Jack found himself staring intensely at her eyes and hoped he wasn't making her uncomfortable.
-
Jack heard a small rustle and jerked his head to the side. 'What was that?' He wondered. If it were anybody he knew they would have revealed themselves by now, so what- or who- was it? "The name's Jack. Nice to meet you Ana." He stated, forgetting about the mysterious noise. He stuck out his hand in front of him for Ana to shake it, it was strange how much your world could open up in a day. Before he hadn't done much outside of his small hilltop, and now he didn't want to stop socializing.
-
Jack immediately felt on edge and was ready to fight these people. 'Did he just call us fellow benders?' He wondered. There were all kinds of idiots out there. Ana was so kind with them, it made him wonder if all the people were like that. He continued to keep his serious glare on his face as he responded to Ana's question, "I'm an Earth bender, I'm not very good at bending though..." He observed the two people who appeared to be siblings. "What are you guys doing over here?" He asked a little too harshly. He probably wasn't coming on very friendly since his brown eyes were glaring at everyone and his smile had faded away.
-
She sipped at her Starbucks coffee and twirled her blonde locks. The sky was darkening rapidly and the clouds were closing in. She was unaware of the rapidly darkening sky since she was so deeply engrossed in her cellular phone. Suddenly it started pouring rain and she only put her phone away and kept walking onwards, the water cooling off her hot coffee. She frowned deeply and dropped the coffee with no emotions visible on her face. She kept walking onwards without changing her speed, keeping her head down and her hands jammed into her pockets. She had a deep scowl in her face and seemed to take no notice of the cars racing by calling her or her now ringing phone.
-
Jack broke his stare with Ember seeing as though she was a lost cause. The older guy seemed nice, but was a bit of an idiot. He turned back to Ana with a somewhat softer gaze and noticed she seemed furious over something but also a little pale. "Ana, are you okay?" He asked reaching his hand out and lightly placing it on her shoulder. He was hoping he hadn't offended her, and she looked a bit startled. He tried to soften the intensity of his gaze in hopes he wasn't the cause for her uncomfortablity. "Should I make the other people leave?" Maybe she was actually like him and was made uncomfortable by the others...
-
Jack immediately stepped back and frowned. 'So I am the reason after all...' Jack sighed heavily and turned his back to Ana. "Would you like me to leave?" He asked. He didn't want to face her because Jack didn't want the sweet girl to see the anger and sadness flashing through his eyes. He turned back around anyways and let his fiery gaze consume her, Jack wasn't smiling and his brown eyes were cold and hard. There was now more distance between them then at any time since they started to talk, and Jack hated it. Nevertheless he wanted the best for the water bender and if the best was for him to leave, so be it.
-
Jack shrugged, "If you wish it to be so, although I do not blame you for thinking that of me." He ran a had through his hair and turned to the others. The tension that was in the air was obviously his fault and he felt out completely out of place. If Ana wanted everyone do get along well then he would do his part. Cal was so good at being friendly, and Ember was pretty good at being Ember. If it weren't for Ana he would have run off a very long time ago..
-
Jack smiled at the two siblings who immediately were able to lighten the mood. Jack began to walk towards the group of people and when he noticed the surprise look on Ana's face when Ember draped her arm around her Jack couldn't help but chuckle. "You all look like a big family. Speaking of... Where are your families?" The brown haired male asked the two siblings, hoping he hadn't offended Ana.
-
Jack stared at the small flame in wonder and smirked at Ember. "I see, well I live with my father, so I can't really sympathize with you guys much." He flicked his fingers upwards and caught a pebble he had lifted up into the air. "Would you guys like to come over to my place for a cup of tea? I mean it's not like you have anywhere better to be.." He had meant to say the last part as a joke, but it had come out sounding like he was mocking them. Jack decided that if he smiled widely than they would be able to tell he was joking, but instead he felt like an idiot and noticed he was blushing. 'Can I possibly make this situation worse?' He wondered.
-
Jack laughed at Ana's excitement. "It's on the top of that hill over there." He said jabbing his thumb in the direction of some thick forage and a small mountain covered in grass. It wasn't higher than 70 feet, and there was a thick layer of forest surrounding the base of the mountain. Jack clapped his hands in front of them and then threw his hands open to the sides and suddenly a path cleared through the forest all the way through to the base of the mountain where no trees grew, only fresh green grass. "Lets go.." Jack began walking without turning to make sure the others were following him, it was up to them if they wanted to follow him or not.

Jack laughed as he observed the two more childish benders run up the hill. He noticed that Ember was deep in thought and hoped she didn't feel uncomfortable. "Is everything alright?" He asked Ember as they arrived at the small hut. The house was perfect size for two people, it had a low ceiling, three rooms, a kitchen, and 2 bathrooms. His dad wouldn't be home for an hour or so, so Jack decided it would be fine to have them over for a cup of tea.
-
Jack smiled and put the tea on the kettle and let everybody get seated. Suddenly he heard the door open and his dads deep serious voice resonate through the hut. "Why is one of the Browns in my living room?" He asked angrily ignoring the twins and setting his gaze upon the started black haired girl sitting on the floor.
