    Birdeye

A beautiful name to match her looks? The she-cat faltered slightly, partially wondering whether she should make up a name that sounded beautiful. But no, what if something happened and he found out, then he just left her? She could never risk that. "I'm Birdeye," she mewed sweetly, then immediately turned onto his name.

It would be fine if Jakey thought that her name was beautiful just like she apparently was, but she knew, somehow, that if liked it, he wouldn't wait to jump in on it. Meanwhile, she'd take the safer route with gushing at his name. "Jakey's such a strong name. Such a handsome name. As are you," she purred softly.

Birdeye purred in amusement. "I seriously doubt that it's the latter, Saberpaw. Snowflurry? Eh, don't mind him. I bet he's not even as good as Skyliepaw," she murmered. Fishing was pretty simple; there wasn't a huge amount of energy involved in catching it, unlike some of the woodland prey. "Point is, RiverClan beats the others at all aspects. None can argue with that."

She stood up, sighing. "I suppose we should get some prey to bring back to the camp to feed the elders or whatever. Let's get that part done with, else we'll not have an excuse for being out for so long."

"If their warriors are terminally ill then it must mean that Snowflurry doesn't even know what he's doing," Birdeye snorted.

At his question, she paused for a moment, debating, then finally mewed, "I think together would be better." Not really, of course, since more cats meant more noise, but she wanted to see how Saberpaw hunted. Maybe she could watch and ask him a few questions about how his mentor taught him. She needed help in that department.

The blue tabby she-cat listened carefully, eyes pinned intently on the Whippoorwill as he spoke. The report wasn't actually nearly as severe as she had expected it to be. She had imagined it as a pack almost as large as the Elites.

When the warrior was finished, she sighed. It did seem like a good idea for a night attack, but Whippoorwill had mentioned that the Atlantis group resided in a seluded area. Wouldn't that mean that the Atlantis themselves would know the area better than they? Although it was their territory, wouldn't they be pretty much entering into unfamiliar grounds?

Birdeye did not speak up, merely sat and listened to the murmering rising up all around her.

The she-cat brightened up instantly. He likes my name! The thought did cheer her. "Thanks," she meowed coolly. "My favorite prey is the bird, so it suits." She purred, hearing Jakey's getting louder and louder. It made her happy. Pleased. Finally StarClan was paying up, giving her something that she wanted. It was about time, too.

Colder and windier? Was it really? Quailfeather shook her head, slightly confused, but didn't say a word. She merely stared out into the SnowClan territory instead, her blue eyes expressionless. Loners joining wasn't the best news. From what she'd seen, they weren't always loyal like the SnowClan-born, and they took up space.

Of course she had known such a thing. If they were heavy, how would they ever fly? Their wings weren't that strong, as she had found out from her hunting experiences. "Their bones are hollow?" she meowed, her voice full of wonder.

She had never known that particular fact. She had merely just assumed that the entire bird overall was just a light creature, but had never stopped to really think about it."That's something I've never heard before. How do you know?"

Birdeye hesitated as Saberpaw asked her where she wanted to hunt. It was a warm and humid day, and while the river was nice, there was bound to be a numerous amount of cats, something that she had been looking forward to avoid. "I was thinking perhaps the tall grasses," she decided. It should be a nice enough place, considering that there was plenty of spots for prey to hide. The river wasn't too far away, either.

    Character Name: Shadow

    Gender: Male

Clan{if any}: Tribe of Freezing Comets

Rank(CANNOT be leader, deputy or medicine cat/med apprentice unless you are making up their clan/tribe): Warrior

Appearance(Must look realistic--NO RED EYES!): Shadow is a chocolate tabby with yellow eyes. His appearance is quite average, and he looks normal. He doesn't have she-cats flocking around him at every corner and isn't one to stand out in the crowd because of appearance.

Personality: Shadow is quite competitive, but he is also fair and kind. If there is a challenge that arises, especially if the challenge has to do with hunting the most prey, he does work his best and can sometimes even try to pull others down so that he can arise and win. But other than the situation with a competition, Shadow is quite the honorable warrior with a nice personality.

    History(Not needed):

Yes, so I've just created Shadow, a member of the Tribe of Freezing Comets. I would like him to have an oathbrother or oathsister, which is someone that your cat swears to protect at all costs, no matter what. If one of the two dies, than the other must avenge his or her death.

If the brother or sister is betrayed, then the betrayer is looked down upon as a cat who could never be trusted.

Now, I would like a Comet Tribe cat to become Shadow's oathbrother/sister. I would prefer for him or her to join Shadow's Team, which is Team Star, though it can be from another team as well. From then on, I'd like it if they both became best friends, doing absolutely everything together.

And maybe there could even be a plot derived from this with a little bit of thinking as well.

If interested, don't hesitate to respond. =)

Silent as night, silent as the falling leaves
    Lay a crouching figure,
Emerald eyes pinned intently on a mouse.

    Little by little,
    Slowly and slowly,
    Shadow drew himself near.

    Then, with a mighty leap,
The warrior emerged, mouse dangling limp.
    Victorious!
