Chrissy was sitting in the park on an old wooden bench, reading a book. It was a cold day, and not a lot of people were outside. She wore her orange sweatshirt and jeans, but it wasn't enough to keep her warm. She was freezing, her hands shaking. "God, could it be any colder?" she said to herself, sighing. Rubbing her hands together, she stood up and chose to walk home. Walking on the not-so-solid pavement, she noticed flurries starting to fall down. "Great, just great," Chris started to run, as she hated the cold. Running in boots isn't the greatest idea though, considering she fell flat on her face. She picked herself up, rubbing her head. The snow was starting to pile up as soon as she made it to her house. She unlocked the door and walked into the toasty home. She set down her book on a near coffee table, and walked upstairs to her room. She closed the doors and lay down, head still hurting from the fall.

As she lay down on her bed, she thought about whether or not school would be cancelled tomorrow. There was a rough two inches already on the ground, and she hasn't been home for more than 10 minutes. She stood up, and looked into a mirror, looking at where she fell. She indeed was bleeding, but she didn't notice it until now. "AHHH!!" she screamed, scared. She rushed down the stairs, trying keep her balance. "MOM! I'M BLEEDING! HELP!" Chris was shouting, probably killing her mom's ears. Her mom did what a mom was supposed to do. She calmed her down, cleaned up the wound and bandaged it. Being the paranoid kid that she is, Chrissy was still worried, but she decided to read to get her mind off of it. She walked back to the coffee table to get her book, and ran up the stairs once more. She changed into her pajamas and sat down on her fuzzy chair, and started to read her book. But Chris gets bored easily, way too easily, so she decides to find her sister, Chattery. She walked out of her room and knocked on Chat's (as she likes to call her) door. "Chat, I'm bored... CHAT!! OPEN UP!" She soon started pounding on the door, but no answer. Running downstairs once more, yelling for her mom. "MOM WHERE'S CHAT?!" Chris screamed.

    [size=8][font=verdana]Name: Julia Swanson

    Age: 19

    Gender: Female

    Sexuality: Bi-Sexual

Appearance: Julia has long blonde hair with a fringe. She either puts it up, or has a beanie over her hair. Her skin is pale, and is very delicate. She has big gray eyes with bluish speckles in the iris. Being more on the tomboy side, she often has sweat shirts and jeans on, but most are torn due to violent encounters with zombies. She wears the same shoes everyday; black tennis shoes. The shoes are quite tough considering she's had them for the entire apocalypse. She has a golden band on her left index finger that she got from her father before he died.

Personality: Julia is more of a fighter, unlike most girls during the apocalypse. She is good solving problems, especially when everyone is stuck or trapped. She is a act-then-think person, and she tends to speak her mind. Some people hate her for it, others love her for it. She cares more about others than herself, but it isn't really obvious. She does small acts of kindness for the group, and later on they'll thank her for it. Julia is carefree, and is always planning strategies. She is determined to avenge her father, and won't give up easily. She tends to get angered easily, more at herself than others. Julia usually hangs around the younger kids, wanting to protect them. The small acts she does will make a huge difference in the end.

History: Julia's mother was a drug addict, and before Julia could remember, she was dead. She spent all that should could remember with her father, and she loved every moment of it. Her father was amazing. He was funny, nice, handsome, skilled, smart, basically the ideal father. He shaped her into the person she is today. When the plague started, (Julia was 15) her dad taught her all the skills and defensive moves that you needed to know. But when the disease broke out in North Carolina, her father went out on his own, leaving Julia with a group of kids who were being tested for the disease. Julia tested negative, along with he rest of the kids. they taught the kids more things, but it wasn't as good as the stuff she learned from her father. When her father came back, he was showing symptoms of the disease. Julia did all she can to help him, but it wasn't enough. He died when Julia was 17, leaving her on her own. She soon found this zombie-hunting group, and they soon became her family.

    Family: Deceased

    Crush/Relationship: Open

    Other:

    Name: James Porter

    Age: 15

    Apperance:

Personality/About: James is spunky and creative. He’s smart, and is always willing to help someone. He always smiles, and is always happy. Atleast, that’s what people think. When he’s alone, he finds any chance to hurt himself. His parents always ignore him, no matter how much he asks for help, leaving him alone with his blade once more. No one sees this though, they think he’s just your average kid, which he acts like it. He never takes things personally. Again, that's what people think. No one really knows who he really is, and that's all he wants. He wants someone to listen, someone to understand. He’s made fun of at school for being ‘emo’ and ‘gay’, but he laughs it off. Little did they know, this was the reason he hated himself. He had few friends, but once he finally started to get happier, he moved. He moved away from everything, leaving him alone again. This new place will either be the life-changer, or the life-ender.

[size=7pt]Other: I apologize if this isn't very good, this is my first time role-playing a boy :p

    OOC: Okay! Thanks :D

IC: James walked into the class room with a raging headache, and school was the last thing on his mind. He slowly walked in, rubbing his head. He ignored the teacher's boring "Welcome" speech, and looked around the room. He noticed someone sitting in the back. The boy looked familiar, but he couldn't seem to remember where he saw him before. He stared at him, but was interrupted when he heard the teacher say, "Take a seat," and he quickly jumped back into reality. He looked for a seat, and saw one in the opposite corner of the boy. He tried to cheer up, but the horrid night he had before would ruin all chances of a good day. He quickly walked over to the chair and desk, and opened up his textbook, preparing himself for the long day ahead. He caught himself looking at the boy again, and he started to notice more details. Dark brown eyes, long black hair. He was adorable. He didn't really focus on what the teacher was saying until he said, "James, please pay attention," and he snapped back, some people laughing softly. Glancing at the clock, he noticed that there was still 30 minutes left of class. He opened up his notebook and started writing 'notes' aka doodles. He looked at the boy again, but only for a few seconds. He sat back and sighed, not wanting to be at school at all.

"Thanks," she said quietly, moving into the building. The place was huge, she couldn't believe it. She immediately went where she smelled food and ordered chicken soup with lemonade. She quickly ate and went on to find her room. She showed her ID to the computer, and it gave her her room number. "C12, floor 6." Well great, she thought to herself, top floor. Zalia had bad experience with heights, something always happened. But she still went up the elevator desperate to lay down. She unlocked her room and walked into the nice, clean area with, wow, a bed. Zalia hasn't slept for atlas 3 days, and boy, was she exhausted. She lay down and before she knew it, she was asleep.

James practically jumped up when he heard the voice behind him. "Oh, uh, hi?" he said, almost making it sound like a question. He wasn't good with new people, but when he looked up he saw it was the boy. "Oh," he fixed his hair a bit, "Hi. Uh.." James was lost for words, he never thought someone like the boy would want to talk to him. After about a minute of silence, took a deep breath and finally said "Hi, I'm James, and I'm the 'new' kid," he said 'new' with air quotations, trying to make the boy laugh, although he doubted that he would amuse the boy in any way, shape, or form. He looked at the boy with a soft smile, lightly blushing. "What's your name?" he asked, trying to be kind, and not weird. Despite his horrid migraine, he still smiled, and made sure that the boy was somewhat impressed, and not thinking he was a total jackoff.

"Kai.." he said quietly, saying the name to himself. Looking back up, he said "Kai! Yes, hi Kai. No, I don't think we've met before. I mean like, you look so familiar, but I have no clue where I would have met you.." he stopped before he could say anything more, thinking he probably sounded so annoying. Why do you suck at this people thing? he asked himself. Rubbing his head slightly, he said "Oh my god, I'm sorry. I probably sound so annoying," Sighing, he picked up his things. "Nice meeting you Kai, I hope to see you soon. I better get to my ne-" He was interrupted by the bell ringing in his ears. "Crap, gotta go," and he quickly ran off. As he ran, a small blade fell out of his bag, but he didn't notice it, as he was too focused on getting back to class. It was his first day of school, he wouldn't want a bad view already. As he ran, he went through the past 5 minutes in his head. No one has ever been this nice to him before, especially on his first day of school. Thinking about Kai, he noticed how attractive he was. And it wasn't just looks that attracted him, it was his personality as well. It felt as if they've met a million times before today, but he couldn't think of why. He soon arrived at the door of his Math class, and walked in, bracing himself for the "Welcome" Speech once more. This is going to be a long day.
