here is my advice to you; do not pressure yourself into telling anyone. please wait until you're ready. the pressure can cause anxiety, which usually worsens the issue. if this friend of yours is a true friend, then they'll accept you for who you are, same with your parents. gender is something everyone should be accepting about, and if they aren't, they need to realize that it's perfectly okay to be who you are.
also, make sure the first people that you tell are people that you trust with your life, you need to make sure they'll keep your secret until you want it out. as calla said above me, start off with your closest friends and then move to family, because that way you aren't alone when you come out to your family, and if for some odd reason your family doesn't accept/understand, you'll have people to turn to.
remember: if the outcome isnt a good one, NEVER blame yourself. it's who you are, you can't help it. to anyone you doesn't accept, get them out of your life. make sure you are happy and love yourself for who you are, that's what matter most.
