Not expecting the sudden tap, she jumps back with fear. "Oh my god, you freaking scared me," she says to Tom, glaring at him. Her headache hasn't gone away, and she was still crabby about her duffel bag going missing. "What do you want?" she says quietly, rubbing her temples. Hailey is not a morning person.

Hailey quickly jumped into the leftovers line, and gets a muffin, milk, and a banana. She was hungry, but she didn't have much of an appetite. She took her food and looked at her schedule, and notices she has the schedule as Scarlet. "Well ain't that great," she said to herself quietly and headed down to Charms class. When she got there she tried to sit close to Scarlet, but not right next to her. She put her head down on the desk and moaned in pain. After a minute of moaning she pulled out her food and started to eat. She popped a few pills in her mouth hoping that would help her migraine, but she doubted it.
-
Hailey glanced up, confused. She opened the letter with suspicion, eyeing Scarlet carefully. Pulling out the object in the letter, she sees a picture of her mom and dad kissing, smiling. She immediately tears up, and can't help but let a tear or two fall. If only they were here today, she thought to herself. She wouldn't stop staring at the picture frame, until she noticed her stomach growling like a crazy lion. She eats her banana, then goes up to Scarlet in anger. "Where did you get this?!" she said, furious.
-
She sighed, then remembered her duffel bag. "Wait! Scarlet! My duffel bag was missing this morning, please tell your mom if anyone drops it off to ask who dropped it off and where they got it, please?" Hearing herself, she quickly acted 'tough' again. She took Scarlet's pencil and put it in the pencil sharpener, then returned to her desk and brought the pencil to her. "Yeah, I'll be needing this," she said smirking. She then finished the worksheet that the teacher assigned to them.
-
As Hailey finished the worksheet, her headache got better. It still hurt like heck, but it wasn't nearly as bad as it was before. She turned in the worksheet and asked to use the restroom. Taking her backpack with her, Hailey entered the restroom. She went into a stall and sat on the toilet paper dispenser, thinking. She wondered whether or not she could consider Scarlet as a 'friend.' But why did it matter? They always left her anyway, it's not like this time she'll magically stay. She sighed and got up, and looked in the mirror. Playing with her bright red pigtails, she remembered the pin that was in the note that she got this morning. She got it out of her back and looked at it. She noticed something on the back. The initials "R + L" were ingraved into the metal. Her parents' names were Randy and Leeann.. No, it must be a coincidence. She put the pin back in her bag and went to her next class.

Hailey slipped through the crowd and skipped the rest of the day due to sickness. She gave the headmaster a note, and surprisingly she agreed. She went into her dorm, and fell asleep immediately. *transition into her dream* I walked in to my dorm and everything was a disaster. I looked around with suspicion, worried about what might be gone. Everything was there, except my duffel bag. Again. I walked to the headmistriss' office only to see that she isn't there. I looked around campus, and I didn't see her. Infact, I didn't see anyone. I went back to the school only to see it burned down. What is going on? I asked myself. I yelled, no answer. I stood there, and I soon felt someone behind me. I turned around and his hands were around my neck. It was getting darker, darker, dar- *back into real life* Hailey shot up from her bed, covered in sweat. She's had this dream before, over and over. Each time it gets more detailed, who knows what it'll be next. She lay down thinking what it might mean, but she falls asleep yet again, this time no dreams.
-
Hailey woke out of hunger. She hadn't eaten breakfast, and even that wasn't a lot of food. She decided to go down and take what was left from lunch. Still in her pajamas, Hailey walked down cafeteria. She grabbed a sandwich and a tea and sat down in the back, alone. Once she finished she decided to pay Scarlet a visit. She walked up the stairs and soon found herself in front of Scarlet's door. Why am I doing this? she said to herself as she knocked, taking a deep breath.
OOC: this is my last post for awhile, I need to go to bed and then I have school tomorrow
-
ooc: omg im so sorry I haven't been rping, I got back in school this week and ugh I'm so sorry
ic: Hailey spent the next few days in bed, head still killing her. Her dreams have intensified, waking her up covered in sweat. As she woke up, she hesitated to look around, worrying if anything was stolen. Luckily, nothing was. She headed down to the cafeteria, worried about what this day would bring. Her migraine was mostly gone, but she still had her worries. She got some food and sighed, not noticing what time it was.
-
Seeing that it was 5pm, she decided to finish her dinner and visit Scarlet. After 'observing' her, she noticed she spent far more time in her garden rather than her dorm, or anywhere else. So she decided to check there. She got dressed in a sweatshirt and jeans, put her hair up and headed downstairs. She went through the door and walked outside, taking in the fresh air. Being in bed for 3 days can take a toll on someone. She approached the garden with caution, worrying that Scarlet may have a set a trap for her. Walking into the garden (without being killed) she tapped on Scarlet's shoulder. "Hey," she said quietly.
-
Shaking out of nerves, Hailey could barely get the words out. "I-, I'm sorry." she said quietly, doubting that Scarlet heard her. "It's just, all these robberies of these things, these things that are special to me are taking a toll. I mean like, I doubt you care but these things mean a lot to me, I couldn't bare to lose what's left of my family.." she said, looking up from the ground and looking at Scarlet. "I'm sorry." she said once more, tears filling her eyes. Tears now starting to pour down her face, she said "I guess I'm not as tough as I thought.." and fell down, head in her knees.
-
Hailey was shocked to feel Scarlet's arms around her, and couldn't stop crying. In between breaths she said "I've be so mean to you ever since I joined, I can't help but be sorry." Taking deep breaths and wiping her eyes, she slowly backed away and looked up at Scarlet. "No one has cared for me like that for, I don't know, 6 years?" she said, still sniffing. She looked at her in the eyes, stood up and said "This never happened, okay? Thanks." Hailey hugged her once more, and putting her hands into her pockets, she slowly walked back to her dorm. Hailey was shocked with both Scarlet and herself. As she walked into the school, she grabbed a banana and went to her dorm, but yet again, her door was locked. Sitting down in front of her door, head in her knees, she slowly fell asleep.
-
Waking up, once again covered in sweat, she wiped off her forehead and tried at the door again. Nope, still locked. Hailey decided to go down to the cafeteria and see if any she knew wasn't there. As she entered the cafeteria, she noticed it was empty. It was Friday, who would be there? She somehow ended up outside, exploring the campus. She noticed someone, alone. Hailey realized that this was her chance, her chance to finally get a friend. As she approached the girl, she nervously bit her nails. She was changing, she's not the same girl anymore. She sat down with the new girl and hesitated. "Hi, I'm Hailey," she said somewhat quietly. "This school is strange, but you'll like it. Trust me," she said quietly, glancing at the girl. "What's your name?"
-
Glad to see someone who didn't know how rude she was, she shook her hand. "Hello Carder," she said, smiling. "I like that name, it's not a 'normal' name like mine," she said, rolling her eyes. "Either way, my parents were awesome." Sighing, let her hair down for the first time in forever in front of someone else. Hailey hoped to become someone new, someone willing to help people, just like her mom. Her mom could help anyone, just not herself. "This school, it's strange. Just letting you know," she said, pulling her bangs behind her ear.
-
Laughing, she said "I'm pretty boring, have a weird background, and no one likes me. The good thing about you is that you get a fresh start, but I have to live with what I've done. You'll probably hear a bunch of crap about me, and it's true. I was so selfish..." she said, trailing off, thinking about earlier today. Noticing Tom, she said "Hey Tom..." she couldn't bare look at him after what she did to other people. Looking back at Carder she said "My background is pretty depressing, I'd doubt you'd want to hear it. Let's just say it shaped me into a jerk. No one likes me. No one. And I'm pretty sure that you won't after you hear what I've done. But atleast your listening to me now, it's a start." Hailey was a talker, that's pretty much all she did. She wouldn't notice how much she'd talk until her dad told her to "Shut the * up" yet she still can't help it. Hoping that she's not acting weird, Hailey looks at Carder, waiting for a response.
-
Almost tearing up, she said "Why, thank you," Hailey was grinning, and it was a true, sincere grin. "No one has ever been so kind to me before, thank you so much!" Hailey wanted to hug her, but she hugged too much today. Too much crying, too much hugs. "I've been stuck in this little bubble, you see? It's a bubble of self-hate. The thing is, I haven't figured out how to pop it. But you know what, I think it just was popped." Hailey was ecstatic, today was just weird. But she was glad, she finally found someone who saw her for who she really is. "Thank you so much, I cannot say it enough." Hailey couldn't help herself, she quickly found herself hugging Carder. "I guess I'll see you tomorrow? I need to go to bed, these meds I'm on have a certain curfew, I'm sorry about that. Sleep tight!" she said with a huge grin, and soon skipped off to her dorm. I think tonight will be nightmare-free, she said to herself happily. Her dorm was unlocked, and she opened it not remembering it being locked. On her bed, she found a note saying "Congrats," Hailey eyed it suspiciously, but put it in the trash with the other note. A silly note couldn't ruin the wonderful mood she was in. She quickly changed into her pajamas (a lose tank top and sweats) and fell asleep. And this time, no nightmares.
ooc: I seriously gotta go to bed though, good night everyone
Be on tomorrow *waves* -
OOC: Sorry, my time in the rp might be a bit off but idc xD
Hailey woke up in a daze. She didn't have any reason to wake up, it was the weekend and she didn't have anything important to do. She stayed in her pajamas and thought of the day before. It was hectic, different then what she's used to. She met this wonderful girl, one who actually wanted to be friends with her. She was so pretty, so nice. Smiling, she went ahead and took a shower.
-
Hailey wanted to do something outside of campus, but she had nothing to. Nothing to do with others, atleast. But she decided to ask Carder and then ask Scarlet, although they're both probably busy. She braided her hair, put on a white hoodie, jeans, and slipped on her tennis shoes. Before leaving her dorm, she made sure her window was locked along with her door. She also kept a spare key in her shoe incase anything happens. Practically skipping down the hallway, she looks around for Carder. She looked in the cafeteria and saw her eating. Hailey got some breakfast herself, and walked up to Carder. "Hey!" she said, smiling with bright eyes. "I feel like going out today, along with some people I know. Care to come?" Hailey looked at Carder with hope in her eyes, praying to herself that the answer will be the one she wanted.

By the way, I'm not role-playing this. Sorry for waiting to say something >_<
