little red ballon: i personally like the second plot. so here is a more detail i guess

Two twins (fraternal) come from an abusive home. When the two of them were 8, they were put into foster care, but different foster homes. When they were still with the biological parents, they planned on helping other people. They didn't know what they wanted to do, but something around the military basis. The two foster homes are completely separated from one another. One is in California, the other in Maine. They were both raised differently. One was raised by a very religious family, the other was a multi-million making family, therefore not spending nearly as much time with their children. During their 'separation,' a war broke out, splitting the country was spilt in half. Basically a Civil War II. Since being raised on two different sides of the country, they were raised to thin that their half was better. The two joined the Police Academy, excelled to Detective, and were both given Undercover operations, stationed in Missouri. When in a bar, the two meet each other once again, and get to know each other. They soon learn that they were twins. You like this, yes or no?

Glitchy: Yes, it sounds interesting. Could you please give more detail?

(omg sorry i haven't replied xD)

Chrissy followed her sister, tripping once more. "Agh," she said as she stood up, brushing the snow off her pants. "These were new!" she exclaimed, throwing her hands in the air as she noticed a little tear in her jeans. She saw as her sister was already at the new neighbors house. "Wait! Waaaait!!" She yelled as she ran up to the porch. "It's scary.." Chris glanced over to her sister who was already knocking on the door. She suddenly remembered something. "CHAT!" she yelled, "WE FORGOT THE COOKIES!!" Chris ran back to her house, opening the door and running into the kitchen, wind keeping the door open. "Stupid, stupid, stupid," she said to herself as she tried to find the cookies. "Here!" she yelled to no one. She picked up the small platter with a variety of cookies and walked out into the snow, carefully. She closed and locked the door, walking back over to her sister. When she finally got back, she was out of breath. "Hi," she said, in between breaths.

Amanda and Valentina were fraternal twins. They were inseparable. Sure, they had a hard life, but if they were together, they could get through anything. Their dad was a drunk, the mom an addict. All and all, they were abused. And it wasn't just spankings, trust me. They were forced to starve when dad got fired, were beaten when they wouldn't get mom a smoke, and were never cared for. They stuck together though, and cared for one another. In March, Amanda went to school nurse after particularly bad night with stomach pains. The school nurse discovered bruises and cuts all over her body. She called an ambulance, taking the two twins to a hospital. They soon discovered that the parents were the source of all the scars, and the two parents were soon arrested, putting the two children in foster care. When a home was available in Georgia, Amanda was forced to move with the new family, separating her from Valentina. A few days after Amanda left, a home opened up in California, and Valentina moved there. This happened 26 years ago, when the twins were 8. 9 years later, a war broke out between the states. They call it Civil War II. The twins were raised on two different sides of the States, causing them to support the side where they grew up. The two twins attended police academy right when they graduated college. After 6 years in the police force, the two were promoted to Detective, and each given undercover missions 4 years later in Missouri. They've been undercover for 3 years, still stationed in Missouri. Will they find one another, or will they forget about their other half?

    * * *

Amanda Rollins was one of the best detectives around. She was manipulative. Smart. Experienced. Sure, she had her flaws, but when you live in Atlanta, there is no such thing as perfect. The blonde wasn't even imperfect. She was screwed up. First her parents beat her, but she had her sister, Valentina, so it wasn't the worst. Valentina always made her happy. The two were approximately 1 minute and 12 seconds apart, but they haven't seen one another for 26 years.

Her first foster home was her only, and it was worse than her old home. Same abuse, but no one knew about it. Same beating, same starving, same everything. It wouldn't be nearly as bad if she had her sister, but she was far, far away. She doubted that her sister had even remembered her, but she thought about Valentina every day.

A war broke out a few years back, and that's when Amanda decided to join the Police Force. She hated violence. She knew that if she were to help with all the homicides that were related to the war, she could somehow end it. It took her a few years to be promoted from Corporal Grade I to Detective, but it was worth every minute. She works in the Homicide unit, with her partner Nicholas Amaro. The two of them worked together very easily, and they never fought, unlike most partners. They also have a secret affair, and it's been going on for 5 years.

Amanda has a gambling problem, but most people know about it. During any major sports event (Super Bowl, March Madness etc.), she would bet, watch, and lose. She rarely won, but when she did, she just betted off the 'hard earned' money. It wasn't like she wanted to be rich, she just wanted some 'emergency' money, especially with this war going on. Her 54,000$ salary was fine, considering on how small her apartment is. 1,000$ a month. In this war, you never know when you might get fired. They're always looking for new, fresh, people. She wants a couple thousand dollars to keep safe, but it always ends being gambled away.

Amanda has been working undercover for 3 years, pretending to side with the west. By now she was used to it, all the hate towards the east, but it still bothered her. But she liked it here more, as the protests weren't nearly as bad. Back at home, everyone had their own opinion, and they stuck to it. If you didn't agree, you were immediately ignored. That's just how it worked. But up here in Missouri it was much easier, as Missouri isn't particularly on a side. It's mainly a base for Undercover's and Military spies. But people still have pick their sides here. It all depends on how you raised.

The blonde walked into the crowded bar, reapplying her lipstick. He stuck the lipstick bullet back into her purse and pulled her hair up as she sat down. She looked up at the TV, and started to watch the football game. 49ers vs. Seahawks. She handed 150$ to the bartender and said "Seahawks," quietly. She sat on the leather barstool, legs crossed. She smiled when they scored, and she ordered a round. The shot slid to her and she handed the bartender 4$. She sipped it as looked around the small but crowded sports bar. Amanda pulled out her phone to check the time. 7:49pm it read. She smiled and continued to watch the game carefully.

    | AMANDA |

You ain't seen crazy unless you've seen me, honey

    Full Name:
    "I'm Detective Amanda Rollins."

    Nickname:
"Amanda is just fine, but no stupid nicknames, okay?"

    Species:
"I'm a human, what did I look like? A freaking alien?"

    Gender:
    "Heh, female."

    Age:
"I'm 34 years old. Pretty old, right?"

    Personality:
Amanda is a smart mouthed girl, and she always has been. She's very outgoing, and talks to every person that she can, whether or not she hates them. She always fills up the silence. Although Amanda might always seem happy, she really is a broken person. Amanda works in Sex Crimes Unit, commonly known as Special Victims or SVU. She is always willing to help victims, but when it gets into family, it's the exact opposite. She tried to ignore anything about her past. Amanda is one of the lead Detective's in her Unit due to how sympathetic she is. She may seem friendly when you first meet her, but the more you know her, the more you'll hate her. She speaks her mind when around her friends, although they don't mind (usually). She's quite mouthy, and she rarely takes no for an answer. She's quite demanding when she really wants something, but it's never gotten violent. She's a good person at the heart, but she refuses to help herself, which is what causes her to be so broken.

    History:
Amanda's mother was abusive. Not physically, but verbally and mentally. Never once did she try to help her daughter. Her mom never did anything for herself, and when the new baby came along Amanda thought that would change. But no, as soon as Kim could walk, she was forced to do things as well. When Amanda was 12 and Kim was 8, their father took them on a 'field trip' on Christmas Eve. He took the two to a gambling bar, making them gamble, as he owned the club. More people betted when around the two girls, causing Amanda to be amazed with all the money. This started her gambling problem, which soon got involved with her job. Speaking of her job, before she worked with the NYPD, she worked with APD (Atlanta Police Department). She claimed she was transferred because too many people were in her old unit, but when her old Chief was accused of rape, she came forward as being raped by him as well. He was proven non-guilty, and it tore Amanda up even more. Before this though, her sister, Kim, was in a relationship with an abusive boyfriend. When Kim was staying with Amanda, her boyfriend found her and attempted to rape her, but Amanda walked in on it and shot the boy, and killed him. Her sister set her up to kill her, and Kim soon ran away. All of these events tore Amanda apart from the inside out.

((oh it's fine lol, my introduction paragraphs are usually pretty long))

Rollins was very short for your average woman. 5'5". She was often teased about it, but she personally liked it as it made her more stealthy. When chasing a run away, she always catches him. She's gained her speed from years on the force 12 years, and how often she runs. Amanda has always been the athletic one, and she rarely goes a day without going for a jog with her dog, Franny.

Amanda sighed as the opposite team scored. Twice. She knew that she'd lose the bet, and the 150$ she put in, but that's how it usually worked for her. She whipped her head around when she smelled smoke, and saw a redhead girl with a cigarette in her mouth. The blonde examined the girl, feeling something strange. It was as if she knew the person. She shook her head, trying to forget about the thought, but one emotion beat another. Rollins walked over to the redhead, and sat down on a barstool next to her. She smiled, looking into her eyes once more. Shaking her head again, she tried to engage conversation. "Hey, uh, got a spare?" Amanda asked this, nodding her head towards the cigarettes. She smiled once more, trying not to seem awkward.

Her sister set Amanda up to kill him, and when they found out, Kim soon ran away. All of these events tore Amanda apart from the inside out.

Amanda smiled as the cigarette was passed to her and lit, and she puffed a bit before responding. She had to remember her 'story' that are assigned to you when your undercover. "Yeah, I grew up around St. Louis." She smiled, but you could tell that she was obviously southern due to her accent. The blonde scratched the back of her neck, looking back up at the TV. The game was over, Seahawks lost. "Of course," she muttered. Rollins looked back at the girl, suddenly remembered her manners. "Detective Amanda Rollins."

When undercover, you can still keep your job, although you cannot state you are undercover, or else desk duty. No one likes desk duty. She shuddered at the thought. She's been at desk duty several times, but not for blowing her cover. For shooting people. Amanda wasn't easily tricked. You did what she wanted, or bang. She was surprised she hadn't lost her shield yet, probably because she was the best detective in the unit. They couldn't afford to lose someone like her.

Amanda looked back at the redhead, smiling. "You are?" Rollins wanted to be friendly, although she knew she was acting quite mouthy, but that's just how she is.

((she can make people see things that aren't really there and sorry for late response, just finished my stupid science fair thing))

Amanda sat in the corner of the room, listening to everything that the two others said. She watched as the boy kept on illuminating the lantern, over and over. She'd been there, awake, for atleast 2 hours, waiting for the other ones to wake up. Finally, she stood up, sighing. "I don't know where y'all are going, but you better wait for me." She stepped forward to where the light lit up her face, and she smiled softly, looking at the two younger teens. "Detective Amanda Rollins," she said, flashing her badge that was surprisingly still on her. She was wearing the same outfit as the night before, a white blouse and black leggings, along with black flats. Her hair was up, bangs slightly hanging down.

She laughed at the boy's reaction. "No, honey, I've been awake before you guys were." She smiled, hoping not to scare the boy, although she knew she already has. "You don't have to be scared of me. If anything, be scared of where you are." Rollins glanced around the small cell-like chamber, thinking of what it could. "It ain't a prison, as far as I know." She's been in prison before, and she knew that this was anything but a prison chamber. "How big is this place anyways?" The blonde started to glide her fingers across the walls, trying to find anything that might give them a clue on where they were.

((oh crap i didn't notice that *le facepalm* well yeah now it is reality altering))

"Huh?" she asked, confusion in her voice. She looked around once more, and noticed that she was in a forest, just like the boy said. "We are in a forest.." Her words trailed off into space as she looked around, her hands now on a tree. "This is really weird." Amanda looked up blankly at the boy, clear confusion on her face. She looked up at the stars, finding the north star. "I know," she said, "Follow me." And with that she led the boy deeper into the forest, forgetting about the suspicious note that was left on the forest floor.

((Rollins isn't the biological name, it's her foster family's name lol))

Her eyes widened as she heard the name Valentina. The blonde smiled slightly yet suspiciously, wondering if this was one of the spies on Atlanta. Atlanta was the protest center of the war, so whenever something happened police wise, IAB (Inter Affairs Bureau, aka the police of police) would send out spies to investigate each officer. She decided not to take anything too personally, as she just met this oddly familiar woman. Smile and nod, she though to herself.

"S'funny, my sister's name was Valentina," she said, glancing back over at the mysterious girl. She looked an awful lot like Valentina too, but coincidences are completely possible. Who knew, as she thought before, this might be an IAB agent. "Where you from?" she asked, trying to get off the topic. Rollins knew that IAB was curious about her past, and she wouldn't give them any of it.

    ((sorry, you weren't replying lol))

Amanda led the two teenagers through the forest, keeping her eyes on the North star. "Back in Atlanta, you'd fine the North Star and follow it, and you'd make it into the center of the city." She didn't want to talk about Atlanta, so she quickly got off the topic. "Where y'all from?" she asked, glancing back.
