[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify;]Oh. She should have been more quiet when she had gotten up. But oh well--now she was stuck. She had to change the subject. She couldn't show Lemurtail the garden; she would tell all her friends, and soon she would be the laughingstock of the Clan. "A garden?" she inquired. "What's that? It probably isn't important, anyway. Look over there. Maybe we could go for walk or something?" Hopefully her plan would work.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify;]Gwenivere padded quietly over to the group, silently not wanting to interrupt the two quiet females in their stargazing but gasping audibly anyway as she took in the heavens above. The sky was beautiful--dark, yet not ominous. She had never seen anything like this back at home, but maybe that was because she lived near a human development, and so the sky was more polluted down there. She didn't know.

"Beautiful tonight, hmm?" she barked quietly, but even her voice sounded alien in comparison to the silence.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify;]Flower crowns? Gwen's ears had picked up the word, but she had no idea what it meant. The fox joined the group with her usual contemptuous expression, but her tone had lost some of its edge as she asked, "What are these flower crowns you speak of?"

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify;]Gwen turned to look at Lemurtail, examining the grin on her maw. She was always so positive, unlike herself. In fact, the feline seemed to be the only creature in this whole Clan that she could consider her friend. That said a lot about her own personality. Ouch.

The fox cringed for just a millisecond before her expression melted into her usual contemptuous sneer. "Fine, I guess," she replied, sniffing. "Though I'm not exactly sure why you'd care."

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify;]Gwen stared at the yellow circlet of petals that was passed to her for a few moments, and bent down to let the crown sit upon her head. It felt strange--soft, delicate, yet she knew that there was something on her head. It was strange, yet she liked it. Maybe she could make flower crowns from the flowers she would grow in her garden.

"Thank you," she put in to Bittersweet. "Bittersweet, right?"

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify;]Gwen noticed that Lemurtail hadn't responded to her rude comment and felt bad for being so negative towards her. She was just trying to be friendly, after all. She didn't deserve her bad attitude.

The copper-framed vixen thought about the night-warrior's question. How had she settled in? "Well...I had a sleepless night last night, if that's what you're asking." But why was she still being so negative? With a second thought, she added, "...but that's probably because I'm sleeping in a different kind of bed. Underground's going to take a bit to get used to." And then, to keep the conversation going: "How have you been? What happened to you before I joined?" She was simply curious.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify;]Gwen didn't know what was happening. Why were there so many new faces here? Merging with ForestClan and FantasyClan? This would mean more faces to memorize and more names to remember, but the vixen didn't mind. With a dip of her head to Leafstar, Willowstar and Wistfulstar, she barked solemnly, "As you wish."

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; text-align: justify;]The only character I have as of yet is Gwenivere from StellerClan (formerly SylvanClan) and I'm struggling for ideas development-wise. I was hoping you guys could give me some of your opinions/ideas on character development for her. c:

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify;]The vixen's amber gaze settled itself on the camp, noting how it glowed in the afternoon sunshine. She had slept last night, which was good, though she would have hoped to get more of it than she had. Oh well. Sleep was sleep, she supposed. At any rate, she wanted to get to know her new Clanmates from the former FantasyClan and ForestClan, if any of them were available, as well as those from her own SylvanClan.

Anyone up for a game of truth or dare?" Gwen called out, her white-tipped tail swishing.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify;]The fox smiled as her Clanmates came over, dipping her head in respect to Leafstar. "Hey, guys," she greeted. "All right. I assume you know the rules of truth or dare, but I'll repeat them just in case. We'll take turns asking each other truth or dare--we can go in a circle to make things easier. If you answer a truth or do a dare, you'll ask someone next. Does that make sense?" She hoped she had explained it in a way that made sense.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify;]Gwen smiled to the other members as they padded up to the scene. With a look around at her choices, her gaze settled on Silverlinings. "Okay. I'll start. Silverlinings: truth or dare?"

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify;]The vixen thought for a moment. What would be a good question to ask? She didn't know Silverlinings that well, so she couldn't ask her a personal question. "Umm... Have you ever liked anyone? If so, who was it?" she asked.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify;]Gwen turned to Willowstar. "Of course not," she responded with a smile. "Anyone can join." Then, to Silverlinings, she said: "Oh, okay. Well, it's your turn." This was going better than she had hoped. Where did this friendliness come from?

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify;]Gwen frowned as she listened to her own leaders argue about their relationship with StarClan. She had a firm belief in StarClan; they wouldn't turn on StellarClan, let alone attack one of its leaders. "I believe and trust in StarClan," the fox stated firmly.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify;]Gwen wasn't expecting the lightning. At one point, she was sitting and witnessing a seemingly-insane Willowstar, and the next there was pain shooting up her spine and chest, making her cry out. She stumbled for a moment, trying to regain her footing from the shock and amidst the pain, but instead fell to the ground. After laying there, quaking from the pain of the strike, the vixen shakily, slowly got to her paws, her topaz gaze settled on Willowstar, full of hatred.

"I understand how it is now," she barked. "This Clan--StellarClan, practically named after StarClan--will be torn in two by the very heavens that have been watching and protecting them since the beginning! How can we let this happen?" Rage seeped into her voice and clouded her irises. "Is this what we will let ourselves become?" Her voice shook as she tried to ignore the pain that laced through her bones.
