When it came to the past for Sandstone, there was a line. A line that he could not, and did not want to pass. It divided the past, which contained many painful memories, from the present, a present without Misty, without all his old friends. Where all he could do was to keep the Diverging going. He didn't like to think about anything that had to do with the past, especially if it had to do with her. he couldn't think about her any more, not the girl who had abandoned him. There were so many clanmates too. Grace, before she had gone insane, Saffron and her mother, Sheep, Cloudpaw, Crimson, and Caliber. Caliber had always been sweet, energetic, and Misty had always looked after him. With so many disappearances happening, Sandstone didn't think that he would see the german shepard again, after all, he seemed to have been gone forever.

Moving quietly though the jungle, Sandstone tuned out the loud birdsong as he concentrated on the invisible path that he followed, weaving an intricate pattern through the underbrush. He didn't even recognize Caliber. When he first saw the german shepard, he simply thought that it was about joiner, or perhaps someone visiting for business reasons. Not someone he knew, someone from the past. "Could I have your name and business, please? And apologies for the rudeness." The leader said calmly, still not yet aware of who he was talking to. He said nothing to Major for the moment mostly interested in talking to the newcomer, rather than reprimanding the kitten.

A rogue vampire problem? The only vampires he had ever met were Rouz and Milky, and they had both been bitten after he met them. "I see," the tom said after a moment. "Well, everything seems in order, I would be happy to have an alliance between our clans." Sandstone watched the Stormclanner with a steady gaze as he accepted the alliance, satisfied with his decision.

Turning to walk in the direction of the tree houses. "Yeah, and it's pretty nice too, we wouldn't be here without-" he faltered, an image of his daughter coming to his head. "Milky," he forced his legs onward, and pretended like the moment never happened.

Sandstone approached, watching the stranger. He wondered what their business was, since they didn't seem like a joiner.
