Nora sighed. "Nah August, don't worry about it, it's ok." she said with a forgiving smile, patting him on the back. "You were just trying to tell me that you simply existed." she remarked with a shrug. Nora scooted over on her bed, crossing her legs and patting the mattress with one hand. "C'mon, you don't have to sit down there."

After receiving her key, Nora smiled and politely thanked the woman at the front desk, striding over to the elevator with her hands full of bags, and tapping the floor number button with her knuckles.
-
She squinted back at the watch lying on the floor and then back to him. "9:52? Awfully particular and... Weird. Nora remarked scratching her head a bit. "What would have happened so punctually at such a strange time?" She asked August, cocking her head to the side.
-
(Sorry, I was volunteering)
She widened her eyes at his story and gave him a look of deep sympathy before holding his right hand. "I'm so sorry August, I really am." Nora remarked, looking down at the bed sheets. -
"What do you mean?" Nora asked gently. "People don't remember you being murdered?" she said, still not letting go the the hand she was holding on to.
-
Nora looked up at him and only nodded. "You're right." She said with a sad shrug. "I guess a lotta wisdom come wih being dead, huh?" She joked won a small smile, trying to make him feel happier. Nora looked from him to her window and peered at the outside world.
-
Once Nora reached her room, she set her bags down and marveled at the size and design of it, grinning widely at the space. "Maybe it won't be so bad" she remarked quietly to herself. She felt a small flutter in her belly and patted where she felt it before opening the door again, peering down the hallway, and wking toward the cafeteria.
-
"W-well yeah-" Nora replied. Cutting herself off before realizing what he was implying. "You think... He can help! That's a perfect idea!" She said in an excited but hushed tone. "Ok, I think this may be just perfect!" She replied before going to her laptop and googling news stories about his death.
-
"Not quite yet." she murmured, looking through a large list of eulogies in her city online. "What's your last name again?" Nora turned around in her chair and asked him.
-
She nodded and typed in his full name, and articles from a couple local papers and a few news stations came up. " I found something August!" she turned and said to him. She clicked through a few articles and found basic information about what happened. Nora sighed while reading them. "I'm so sorry August." she said softly.
-
ok, that's fine

Nora walked into the large cafeteria, looking at the vast amount of people. Suddenly, she start to feel a bit apprehensive, Nora swallowed and looked down, adjusting her shirt to hide her stomach as best as possible, she walked up to the line and got a tray of food as healthy as possible... with the exception of a bit of ice cream. She picked up her tray and walked quietly over to a table, next to the two people talking with a little girl.
-
She skimmed the article and shook her head. "Just says that he's on the run, I don't think he was ever caught August." Nora said to him sorrowfully. "How long ago was this? That guy could be anywhere in a matter of a day." she said with a sigh.
-
After she ate, Nora went up to her new room, unlocking the door and grinning as she walked in. She looked at the comfy queen bed in front of her and sat on it with a bounce. She chuckled to herself and then looked down at her bags, unzipping them and starting to unpack all of her things.
-
"Well I mean he's part of the force, so of course they would." She said, scratching her head a bit. "It would be easier for you to sneak in than me, but I don't know where all the case files are." She said to him, puzzled.
-
As she stood in her room, unpacking, she stood back and looked at what she had already unpacked, and picked up a picture frame from her bag. Inside it contained the photo of an ultra sound she had the week before and grinned, setting it on the nightstand by her bed.
-
She nodded and turned back to the computer. "No, sorry, they just have a few sketches from what they saw on the security camera." Nora told him. "I'll ask my dad about the file room and what he may know about the case though."
-
"Of course, pretty sure I can do both, my dad and I talk a lot." Nora remarked. Her mother has left the family when Nora was a young girl, so her father was her only parental figure. She grinned at August and couldn't help but feel that he was kind of cute before turning back to her laptop.
-
"Not right away though, I think he's be to freaked out, even worse than me." Nora said with a gentle chuckle. "Eventually though, it would be a pretty good idea." she said to him, thinking as she typed away on her computer.
-
She spent a while cleaning up and putting her things away, so she decided to meet some of her neighbors. Nora made sure she looked presentable, touched up her makeup, and walked down the hallways, knocking softly on Chris' door.
