    somewhere near the top of that list was the girl he had meant earlier. she was new, and pretty damn attractive. mikki was excited to talk to her more, despite the fact that he originally found regret in striking up a helpful little conversation with her earlier in the day.


    after he had helped her to find the girls' dorms, he had set off for the boys' dorms. when he arrived, it seemed that his room mate had already claimed the bed on the right side of the room, leaving mikki with the one on the left side. he had no problem with it-he was closer to the window. his stuff was soon enough scattered all over his half of the room and he was unpacked in less than an hour.


    night came all too soon. mikki had settled down playing video games just after he finished unpacking, and the next time he looked up from the tiny screen, the lights were out and his roommate was dead asleep. still stuck in his summer sleeping schedule, he decided to sneak out[through the window, of course]. the instant fall breeze refreshed his senses
