Echoflare woke to the bright sunlight. He raised his head looking around the den. It felt weird with only a few cats sleeping in the den now and not as many as before. After the disaster, there were only a few cats who stayed with Ashstar. He was now her deputy and was glad to stay with her. He would rather have a rightful leader than one who became one through fighting. He stood up stretching as he did so and padded out of the warrior's den. He noticed Ashstar out in front of her den. He padded over to her greeting her as he did. "Morning Ashstar." He said simply.

Fallenstar's ears were both bleeding, as well as his shoulder from a bite that Echo had given him. Echo was in better shape than Fallenstar was. Only his ear was bleeding from a bite that Fallenstar had given him. "You don't know the whole story about what happened with my family, Hollytwig, none of you do. I believed that my family was dead about 12 moons after I left because when I returned to the place where we stayed my father and brother were gone." Fallenstar growled he knew it was time to share the whole story. He stood and jumped up onto high rock. "I know most of you probably distrust me now," He said, he got a few hisses from the cats below. "But none of you know the entire story of my past. As a kit I was neglected by my father, not only that, my only surviving littermate ignored me because I was to small. Our sister was born dead. My mother taught me different thing as I grew and got older. When my brother and I were 10 moons old we were separated in an attack by a group of rouges. I with my mother, He with my father. The rouges followed my mother and I and they caught up with us quickly. She told me to run and I did. I knew that I should have stayed with her. She didn't let me no matter how many times I told her no." He got no sympathetic looks from anyone. He curled up in his provided nest his ears flat to his head.

Fallenstorm took a deep breath, ignoring the pain in his shoulder he continued. "When my father found me crouched next to my mothers dead body, he thought that I had killed her even though he knew the rouges had chased us. I tried to tell him differently but he threw me across the clearing. When I got up again he attacked me. Not like a playful attack but an attack that showed he wanted to kill. He had me pinned to the ground paw on my neck, luckily I remembered battle moves that I had been taught and I fought back. I scratched him up pretty badly. But he came close to killing me. I managed to escape from him. I never returned there until I was older and could handle him. But when got there, neither he nor my brother were there." His voice faltered. He was staring down at his clan mates. Some of their faces were stricken with the horror of a father almost killing his own son. Others had sorrow in their eyes. He looked down at his kits and he saw Wildheart comforting them as they hid their faces in her fur. [/fancypost][/fancypost]

He felt a body push against his and he heard Hollytwig's voice in his ear. "I trust you, with all my lives. But this is something I must do." He said quietly to her. "You understand that." He took a deep breath and continued on with the story before she could stop him. "When I turned to leave my old home, I felt a weight drop on to my back and when I rolled with it I saw who it was. It was my brother. He said he had come to finish what our father never had. He underestimated me that time. You see I had grown and I was stronger than I had been before. I was able to defend my self better this time and he was surprised by it. I had him pretty well caught up there and managed to get away with only a few scratches. Then I met my old mate, Wind, and we came here when she got really sick. I knew it wasn't good to be sick, especially when you were expecting kits." He paused and looked at his two kits, Nightkit looked exactly like Wind, while Moonkit was like him. "She gave birth to two wonderful kits, but died after naming them." That's when he really broke. He turned his head away and placed in on Hollytwig's should. He had told all most of the cat's below didn't know about him. He felt free of the secret he had tried to keep hidden for so long, but also heart broken for not telling anyone sooner, especially his kits. [/fancypost][/fancypost]

"Meeting dismissed." He said this bluntly. With no emotion he slowly walked down High Rock, his tail dragging behind him and his ears flat. Instead of him jumping to the ground and mixing with the clan, he went straight to his den and curled up in his nest. He hid his face under one of his paws. He looked down at his shoulder, dried blood covered his white fur around his shoulder. He hated admitting that the blood thirsty tom sitting in Hollytwig's den was his brother. "I just wanted to ask a few favors." He said before coughing again.

Fallenstar didn't jerk away from her touch like he usually would have. "I want to talk with *coughs* Flamepaw." He said he turned his head away when he coughed. If he was sick, he didn't want to get his deputy sick. "Then could you also talk to Hollytwig about *coughs* Echo and find out when he can leave the camp?" He asked. He broke into a small coughing fit, his body shaking when it was done. He leaned against Berrywing for support. He felt weak, he felt like he did when his father attacked him.
