It just so happened that Halthorne was like a doormat, so maybe joining a clan with these people wasn't the best idea. He was hoping they wouldn't answer too harshly.

Halthorne covered his ears with his paws and looked down. Why couldn't everyone get along? There was always fighting in this clan It seemed as if he was one of the only nice ones around here. But whenever he acted nice, people stepped all over him-not literally.

He knew there was a blizzard going on, but he had went out to make sure nobody was trapped out of camp. He heard something. "Hello? Who is that?" He moved foward, thinking it would be a clanmate. A panther jumped from behind a pile of snow, and tackled Halthorne. The Panther raked his claws across the snow leopard's muzzle before being kicked off and landing in the snow. Halthorne got to his paws and pinned the leopard down before it could get up. He sunk his teeth into the panther's arm before letting go. He jumped back, letting the Panther get up. The panther began to charge, and suddenly dropped to the ground, not moving. "The hell?" Halthorne said, cautiously moving foward. He threw some snow at the panther, and it still didn't move. Halthorne checked it's pulse and it was still alive.

Halthorne wondered what could have happened. Maybe he had rabies or something? After feeling his pulse again, he found out that the panther had died. This would be such a good story to explain to his clanmates.

Most of them were inside the dens at this point. "Does anyone wanna do something? Like, tell stories, play games, or stuff like that?" It was something fun to do before they fell asleep.
