Did Bullfinch happen in this, or do they just know each other from before?

"Spirit!" Oni exclaimed hugging Spirit back. She let go and turned to Hsnnah. "Hannah, this is Spirit, she's a Chaos Wolf." She then looked at Spirit again. "Who are you with?" She asked.

Ryota looked over the two girls. One seemed quite normal but the one Spirit knew had horns and wings, which didn't surprise him since Spirit was a wolf.

Seprahm entered the room, closing the door behind him and shutting out his advisors. A lot of them thought that because he was a young king, he'd be easily manipulated. He had to prove them wrong somehow. The first thing he noticed was the cage in the middle of the room. He slowly moved forwards and pulled the blanket off the top, stepping back as he saw the tiger. He stared, unsure how to react.

Seprahm took another step back as the wolf roared. He'd never really liked animals, but it was a present and the nobles were looking for reasons to dislike him, so he couldn't let it go. He slowly walked closer to it, and knelt in front of the cage, kind of transfixed by how majestic it was.
"I'd let you out, but I'm afraid you'd maul me." He joked, with a nervous but amused note in his voice. "However, you do at least need a bigger home... Tell me first though, do you have name?" Sprahm was shocked at his actions. He'd never spoken to a person like this before, let alone a pet or animal.

Pushing himself to his feet, Seprahm composed himself, showing and understanding face, though inside he had no idea how she felt at all. He also noticed he was quite a bit taller than her, though he would probably have little chance against her in a small space like this. He nodded, a polite smile on his face.
"I didn't know that were tigers were a real thing." He told her, his voice kind of cold and very formal.. "I apologise for your wrongful imprisonment, is there anything I can do to repay you?"

The young king clicked his tongue and shook his head. He sighed and rubbed his eyes. It was a stressful enough day without having to deal with this.
"As much as I'd love to let them know their mistake..." Seprahm shook his head again. "If they found out there was a were tiger in the woods, the nobles would start competing to see who could be first to catch you. They take hunting very seriously. So they won't find out." He gave the girl a small smile. "The closest forest... Leave the castle, then the city should be close. On the side of the river, it's bordered by a forest. I'm not sure if that's where you're from, but it might help you get you're bearings."

Lace forced herself no tot laugh. She turned her head a little, but she was still facing away from them. "Your mission? I didn't know you were on a mission, but the volcano is where the leviathan lives." She told them, holstering her pistol. "It's the only thing in that direction so you must be going there. don't wake it."

Oni pushed herself to her feet. "I could have done that myself, you know." She told Miles, brushing off her hands. She looked around, examining some of the glass around them, then shook her head. "No, we don't have much time." She looked up at the tall mountain. "Any idea where the lake is? It would save us from having to climb the entire thing if it's not at the top." She stared up at the top and wished she had her wings.
