Sciencekit was padding around the food court when he spotted a book. Having a book handy was a sure way to attract the young tom, especially a book about outer space. "What are you reading?" he asked as he bounded over, titling his head to try to get a look at the title.

Perhaps it was even for the same reason - boredom. Well, boredom and curiosity. Sci had plenty of that to go around. But when you really thought about it, it wasn't exactly the desire to learn, but more of a twisted version of it. The feline had a short temper and often felt frustrated with little things that he should really pay no mind to. It was anger at the fact that there were things in the world that he didn't know that drove him. He needed to know everything. He needed to know it all.

Well, who cared what they thought? Her mom was a hypocrite anyway, since she had a strange addiction to playing bingo games on the computer.
Anyway, the young tom himself was standing outside a mall. With a controller in his paws, he manipulated the joystick, keeping his green gaze focused on the sky. He was flying a drone that had been left in his store, smiling as he watched it fly through the sky.
