we started school again today after winter break and we've been pounded with midterms to study for as well as a national day of history project due the 20th.

we're due a lot of snow here tonight (it's just begun to fall too!) so there's a chance of a snow day.

i actually enjoy it, even if it's cold, as long as it gets us out of a little bit of school and is enough to go sledding or skiing in.

Pros: Community is pretty welcoming and not cliquey at all.
Cons: Despite the welcoming community, nobody seems to be really close. Clan might be leaning towards a bit slower-paced at the moment.

Anyways, after I'm all ready to crash for the night, I turn on a fan, a sound machine (or sometimes I play myself to sleep with classical music on my iPod), and a very, very dim nightlight. I cocoon myself in my blankets and pillows and just close my eyes. Then, I begin daydreaming (and I'm a maladaptive daydreamer so I always have this certain story I revisit every night before bed) and slowly, as I just lie there daydreaming, I just slip off into sleep.

I was also thinking a darker colored animal would be cool -- maybe a panther, as was suggested or a wolf? Or a dragon, if you can afford it. That would be pretty neat.
[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 420px][justify][sup]I talk to my laptop and iPod but it's usually insulting and I say some very mean things to them when I'm angry because I know, deep down, they are always there for me even when they decide to act stupid.
I also talk to and have named and genderized my clarinet and I always talk to her before concerts when I'm feeling nervous.

I'd explain it to you but it's kind of confusing when I do and you'll probably think it sounds really stupid but you should give it a try. It's about fairytales that come to the real world...but before you think 'ew that's stupid' just give it a shot -- a lot of people underestimate it and then watch it and are like "OMG ITS SO GOOD" and I'm like "I TOLD YOU". All of the main characters are very, very in-depth, especially the protagonist (who kinda is an antagonist? haha you'll see if you watch) the Evil Queen/Regina Mills (my bae).
The first three seasons are on Netflix (if you have that) and the fourth one is airing on TV now so it won't be out for a while. You can look up a trailer on YouTube to get a little clue of what it's about besides fairytales.
