I was sitting in my room, reading Of Neptune by Anna Banks when I heard the door bell ring. "Who comes to someones house this late at night?", I thought to myself. I got up and walked to the front door. I looked through the peep hole and saw nobody. Right as I was about to walk back to my bedroom, I heard a cry outside. I quickly opened the front door. I looked down and saw a baby sitting on the steps. I felt like i was going to cry. Who leaves there child on the door steps of a strangers house, especially on a cold night like this? I carefully picked the infant up. "hushhh", I whispered as I cradled the little baby girl.

"Alice, what is going on?", I heard my mom ask as she walked out of her room. Without saying a word, I showed my mother the baby girl who was drifting to sleep in my arms.

(Your character can be male or female because love is love. okay? ♥)

IC: I slowly walk to school, fiddling with the cord to my ear buds as I listen to Paradise by
Coldplay. Snow crunches underneath my black boots with every step I take. All I can think about as I walk is how I can't wait to see my best friend. He/She was gone all weekend on a mini vacation, so we couldn't hang out like we usually do. I know not seeing each other for three days isn't that long, but for me it felt like forever, especially since this is more than a friendship to me. As much as I have a hard time admitting it, He/she is my crush and I want to be together forever.

[color=white]I am Pansexual. I like people for there personalities. ♥
I have just recently become proud of this.
I used to hate it because I wanted fit in, but now i learned that I love being different.
Diversity makes the world go 'round.
There is no reason for anyone for anyone to be ashamed of who they are. ♥

As soon as I hear your voice and feel your arms wrap around me,
I can't help but smile."Ohmygoodness, I have missed you so much!",
I exclaim. I give you a quick hug, and as soon as I let go I feel my
cheeks begin to heat up. Am I seriously blushing? No. Alison Leviosa
does not blush! If I am blushing does that mean I "like like" her? I am
being ridiculous. We are just friends, right
? I quickly push my thoughts
aside. "How was the trip?", I ask as we continue walking to school, side
by side. "I am so happy you're back".

After Dakota chains up her bike at the bike racks,
she started walking toward the main office because
the counselor had requested that she come talk to her
this morning. Dakota hated the counselor. She was way
too happy all the time and wore enough perfume to kill a
whole army. Honestly, she was no help at all. Suddenly,
Dakota heard the slamming of a car door. She turned
around to see a gorgeous girl with black hair walking away
from the car. Dakota couldn't help but wonder why this girl
looked so blue? Actually, scratch that. The girl looked depressed.
Dakota knew that look. She saw it every time she looked in
the mirror. Now Dakota's question was why was she depressed?
Dakota examined the girl for a minute before realizing that
staring at this girl probably made her look like a creepy stalker
or something. She criticized herself for being so rude and weird,
and continued walking to the office.

Dakota walks up to the front desk where Mrs. Lynch sat at her desk typing something on the computer. When Mrs. Lynch notices Dakota's approach, she turns around in her desk chair and greets Dakota with a smile. Dakota fakes a smile in return. "Hello Ms. Lyle", Mrs. Lynch says. "Are you here for your appointment with Mrs. Clune?"

Dakota glares at her for using her last name, then nods. "Okay, darling. Take a seat. Mrs. Clune will be here soon".

Dakota nods once again, and takes a seat in a very uncomfortable wooden chair. As she waits, she can't help but think of the girl she saw outside. She hoped the girl was alright.

As Florence told me about her trip,
I walked along quietly. There was a
feeling inside me I have been feeling
for weeks now, but can never pinpoint.
Sometimes I know what it is. However,
I always push the thought away.
Florence and I are best friends, and we
have never kept secrets from each other.
In that case, if we were becoming
more than friends, She would tell me, right?
When Florence asks me how things are with
me, it takes me a moment to answer. I
honestly don't know what to answer. What
should I say? I am okay, just been thinking
about us and whether or not we are more
than friends. Hell no. Finally I reply. "I am
okay, I guess". It is a simple, but questioning
reply. The "I guess" on the end could lead to anything.

Dakota watches as the girl walks into the office. Then, realizes she is staring again, and quickly looks the other way. She can't help but blush and hope she isn't being too weird.

Mrs. Lynch, greets Jemma with a kind smile. "Hello, how may I help you, sweetie?", she asks.

Dakota awakes to rays of sunshine in his eyes. He rolls over and checks the clock. "Dang it! I am going to be late!", he exclaims. He jumps out of bed and quickly throws on a black T-shirt along with a pair of dark blue skinny jeans before running across the hall to knock on his sisters door and awake her.

"I am awake", Alice mumbles. His sister stumbles out of bed and walks to her closet to get dressed. Meanwhile, Dakota is now downstairs making smoothies for the two of them. By now, they have missed the bus, so the two would have to either ride their skateboards or walk.

Alice comes down stairs wearing white skinny jeans and a black hoodie."You look cute today', he brother compliments. Alice smiles and runs her fingers through her bright red hair.

    "you too", she replies.

Dakota hands her a smoothie, They grab their skateboards, and start heading to school.

I am not going to lie, when
    Florence grabbed my hand to
lead us through the ocean of
    students, butterflies arose in
my belly, and I couldn't help
but smile. Maybe it was true.
Maybe I did have feelings for
    Florence. However, there was
no way I could admit it. I would
    never risk ruining our friendship
    by making things awkward.
We have been friends for twelve
years and I didn't plan on ending
it now. The bell rang, causing me
to snap out if my thoughts. I looked
at Florence and she looked at me.
I could tell my the expression she
was wearing that she waiting for me
to say something, but I stayed silent.
I just sat there, staring into her gorgeous
eyes. Then, I gave her a little wave.
"Bye", I said quietly as I hesitantly
walked away to my first period class.
