'Not really, and when she is it's only because Aural isn't here,' he sighed and got up. 'I'm going to bed.' He did so and promptly shut the door.

It was five thirty am when Aural came back. The door opened and there was quiet whispers and footsteps.

Aural weakly smiled and tentatively waved. 'Hi~ Missed you.'
A tall young man with blond hair was with her, carrying her stuff. He had a square jaw and a face that seemed to be constantly sneering.
'This is Richard. He's a room mate.'

'Missed you too!' Aural grinned and hugged back tight, ignoring Kyo.
'Excuse me my good man,' Richard said in a very posh voice. 'Could you show me to my suite? I must drop off the luggage.'

'I thought we were sharing a room,' Richard said absent-mindedly, scowling at Kyo in confusion.
Aural laughed. 'Not at all! As long as you've kept the birds and the fish fed.'

Aural laughed and started towards the stairs. She gave Kyo a hard stare. 'You'd better be damn civil towards other people you lonely-ass git.' She turned away and went upstairs, followed by Richard.

He nodded and did so.
Aural sighed softly and went into her room. 'What is wrong with him? He hates me so much!'

He laughed deeply and patted his shoulder. 'That's fine. Now if you don't mind I'm going to catch up on sleep.'

'No Kyo,' Aural sighed. 'It's weird how we used to be friends but just aren't anymore...'

'I know that, I know nearly everything about him! He used to trust me!' Aural sighed in frustration. 'Sorry... Sorry, it's just... Someone being funny with you for years does annoy you.'

'I missed you too,' Aural smiled. 'But... What if I don't want to be his friend? What if this whole time I've wanted to be more?'

Richard got up and peeked out the hall before creeping towards Aural's room.

Aural sighed. 'Doesn't mean I gotta marry him though.'
Richard poked his head round the door. 'Oh sorry Aural didn't realise you had someone over.'

He blinked in confusion. 'Um yes. Now Aural are you going to be alright?'
'Of course I won't be murdered or anything,' Aural smiled. 'Night.'
'Good night,' he sighed and left.

Aural sighed softly and shrugged. 'He asked me. He's really sweet and nice and always spends time with me.'

Aural blushed lightly. 'Pfft nah. I don't have many girlfriends in college. They're all geeks that are training to be doctors or lawyers or accountants and would rather date a textbook than an actual guy.'

'Yay~' she laughed and yawned, falling asleep.
