Morninglight yelped in pain, this time her voice came from the mouth of Falconstar. "Get Quailfeather! He can exorcise Falconstar's weak spirit!" she tried to explain frantically.

"I have no weakness! You insolent fools!" Falconstar hissed as he kicked Willowpaw off, scratched Eaglepaw's pelt even more, and ripped off part of Rippledpelt's ear as he kicked her away.

Falconstar's form now showed half of Morninglight's face, "Help me! Don't kill him! If you do, you'll kill me too!" she yowled desperately. Falconstar growled and then rammed Morninglight's side of the body against a rock, almost knocking her unconscious. "Save your breath you little brat! How could you possibly be my offspring?! I demanded a tom! I forced your mother to be my mate so that I could have a son to take after me and my rule! But of course she had to have you ! You're the reason why I had to kill your mother for disobeying me! I was so disgraced by your presence! So I left you to die in a hole in the ground in the forest! But someone just had to find you and save you!" he ranted on as he narrowed his gaze on Quailfeather.

"Help...me..." Morninglight managed to whisper to Rippledpelt before she fell unconscious.

Berrytail was guarding the entrance, she had been up since dawn to relieve the previous warrior on guard. 'Just keep your mouth shut and your eyes open, Berrytail, you can eat later ' the new warrior mewed to herself as she heard her stomach growling.

Berrytail's stomach growled a little louder and her legs began to become wobbly, "M...must...st...stay awake...gotta st...stand g...g...guard...can't...p...pass...ou-" she mewed before falling unconscious and hitting her head on the stump that marked the camp entrance.

Pebblestar looked over at the apprentices, then sighed, "Very well...". The leader then climbed down the tree to the ground below. "Is everyone happy with my decisions now?" she asked with a bit of disappointment in her voice. Without waiting for an answer, she picked up her kill and began padding in the direction of the camp. "Come on, let's get moving" she ordered with a flick of her tail.

Berrytail was breathing ruggedly and heavily, a look of past sadness and regret on her face.

"S...sorry...s...so...sorry" she muttered, still unconscious. "Wha...what d...did I do wrong? D...didn't mean it...jus...I was just k...kidding..." she kept muttering, as the same false smile showed on her face as it had that day. "Wh...why d...did I li...lie to you? D...don't go! Please don't go!" Berrytail yowled desperately. Her belly kept rumbling, making her cringe.

Morninglight and Falconstar were screaming in agonizing pain, fear and brokenhearted-ness flooded her eyes, while anger and unaccepted defeat shone in Falconstar's. "Damn you Quailfeather! May you rot in the deepest, darkest, most foul-smelling trench in all of the Dark Forest!" the evil tom yowled as his body completely disappeared from Morninglight's. Morninglight was then left lying there on the ground, gasping for air and body twitching in a seizure-like state. She was bleeding out of every wound on her frail body, coughing up blood as well.

"Dont go! Dont leave me!" Berrytail's body began to go into a seizure-like state, and she began to scream in fear and pain.

Berrytail chewed the foul-tasting herbs, half chocking on them as her body began to come out of the seizure.

Berrytail swallowed dryly and coughed as she began to breathe normally again.
