Kestrelflight cleared his throat and pushed the threatening plant forward. "Buttercups. I just saw a kitten out in the meadow about to eat buttercups. Luckily they didn't injest any, and even more lucky these would only cause a nasty bellyache, but I want to teach everone here a thing or two!
"Bael, Belladonna, Bleeding Heart, Cashew Apple, Cherries - all poisonous, all deadly! And that's just the tip of the iceberg! Does anyone here even know what they can and cannot eat?!" Of course he was upset; his son was out there and could get into any of these things!

Artists and therapist, huh? Though, now that he heard about Rubypaw, a part of him wondered when the last time Zachary was seen... he worried about the she-wolf. With Rubypaw being off the list, he decided he'd try and find Poppypaw and work on herbs with her. He'd leave Tinypaw to Atty if she even accepted any training. Though, with the meeting drawn to a close, he wondered about his son. How was Sunkit doing anyway with all this? He didn't want the orange tom to get himself in trouble.

While everyone else was mourning Dovestar, Kestrelflight found himself in his own shadows. Dovestr would be missed; she had taken her chance on Kestrelflight. He had the experience, as a loner he had picked up a thing or two, learned a handful of information when he had gone back to RiverClan from his brother, and worked as a healing Maester in Westeros. He had the experience, though others thought otherwise because he was new to this clan. He had the experience thanks to his brother.... he had the knowledge.... because...
He sighed. Because he had left home. If he hadn't, where would Sparkfire be? Alzheimers? Depression? As far as he had known, neither of those things occurred in their family - weren't those usually inherited things? How was it possible? Why would he kill himself?
Sparkfire... RiverClan had become dangerously toxic, and Kestrelflight wished he had brought Coralkit as planned and invited Brooklynpaw and Sparkfire too - he could have helped him...!
While the clan mourned their lost leader, he mourned his lost brother. Depression and mental illness had taken them both, but he had only known one of them for his entire life. His littermate was gone... and somehow he had to get word to Scorchedraven....
He wanted to curl up and cry, wanted to just mope... but with his job, being what he was... and being challenged every moment even... He couldn't help it. Eyes just looked lost, but he continued. He restocked herbs, he checked on patients, he did it all.... Functioning, at the very least until....
Until one day he let himself curl up in his nest and refused to open his eyes even when he woke. One day... just one day... One day to mourn his cheerful brother. Sparkfire had always seen the good in people! Sparkfire had seen the good in Scorchedraven, had his hopes up that their parents and sister were alive...! Sparkfire was the burning fire of love that their mother had had... and this wasn't fair....!

With Rubypaw demoted, and Zachary currently not seen as much, Kestrelflight decided to focus on Poppypaw. Tinypaw was rather rude to him every single time and if she even wanted to pretend to be respectful - well, he was done with Tinypaw. He would focus on the nicer nurse who actually made him smile to see. Let Atty deal with all that nonsense.

The silver tom nodded at the announcement, listening to Permafrosts words. He made a note to teach Sunkit and Bitterkit to take in the words of those who were ranked; he had done a poor job teaching him to respect the bodyguards, and would want to talk to Sunkit later. At Tinypaw's demotion, he felt a bit of relief to see there was understanding in some other members who weren't as upset.
He nodded t the order to find another nurse. With just Poppypaw, the workload would increase. [b]"Yes sir."[/b[ He would have volunteered to go to the Church, visit his cousin, but he say Harvest was already getting ready. Besides, he had to focus on nurse business.

The tom had turned when he heard his name being called, a small smile on his face. "Sure thing Uglypaw.." He grinned meekly. He had to admit inwardly, he didn't like her name - not because of any reason than he hated calling anyone ugly.... It felt awkward.
But, the tom dipped his head, moving and slipping into position. "Alright, you can take the first shot." It was sparring after all.
