    OOC: Okey :D

IC: Marth stirred in his seat in the back and stretched, "Well that was amazing..." He said, his voice was spent and tired as he looked out the window into the streets flooded with people. He scanned the crowd nervously, getting some false scares before he settled into his seat. Marth yawned again and stretched, he was itching to get out of the car and see the sites, however he was on high alert, every alleyway he saw gave him shivers. The skeleton dream hadn't exactly "put him at ease". "D.C. sure has a night life...but Cassie, where do you think we should start our hunt?" He asked with a quizzical look before he suggested "I have this gut feeling that we might find something near the memorials, war goes hand in hand with death so..." He trailed off, and then he informed everyone on his dream before asking them their opinion.

    OOC:

IC: Marth laughed "Money?" He rummaged in his bag and threw up his hands, "Money is tight, I think the car will serve the best, right?" He asked. "We just need to find where to park now..." He craned his neck to look out the window and searched for somewhere to park.

    OOC:

IC: Marth sat down, dividing his time between looking outside the car to check for safety and glancing at Cassie. By now most were settling to sleep, meanwhile he was wide awake. However, whenever he looked over at Cassie, our poor Hero's heart would skip a beat. He still had feelings for her, but by now he still had no idea on how to win the girls' love. He was lost and scared and it made him angry that he was at a lost of what to do by now. He shivered and sneezed, and only though of what he could now.

    OOC:

IC: 'Damn...she caught me looking, I hope that doesn't make me look like a creep.' thought Marth to himself. He could feel the warmth creeping into his cheeks and he knew that the blush would be seen if they stepped out into the neon lights, he'd have to keep her out of the bright halos of lights and hope she wouldn't see the blush. He silently leaned back and then went to open the door, the moment before he closed it, he said "Cassie I'm going to go grab a bite, you want to come with? I mean its best to use the buddy system..." He trailed off, looking into the side mirrors at Cassie. He waited for her reply, his hand still clutching the door as his knuckles turned white. He hated this, he hated the whole awkward thing, love had just never been his forte. The imperfection bothered him and yet it pleased him. The way she was coy and shy beneath her cold exterior, the tired and endearing smile, the eyebrow jerk she does. The whole idea of love was so foreign to him, yet he felt as if he'd known the feeling for decades.
If only his father had been Eros, he could ask for help or if his mother had been Aphrodite or Athena, they'd know what to do. Yet, here he was, in enemy territory, on alien ground. All he knew about was war and violence, that was all he could perceive of his father. 'Of all the gods above and below I get stuck with you, not that you'd actually answer.' Marth silently thought. He popped back out of his thoughts and into reality, still looking at Cassie and waiting for her response.

OOC: Sorry its really long :'( I didn't mean for it to be so long, I'm sorry if someone gets flooded T-T

IC: Marth was lead by Cassie across the street, he turned often and as they neared the designated spot, his palms began to sweat profusely, his heart rate quickened, and his blood was pounding in his head. Butterfly's erupted in his stomach and he felt the awkward tickle in his stomach, the twisting of his intestines and the pain in his heart. As they crossed, he felt odd and the world almost seemed to be slowing to a stop. Suddenly, a man in a business suit walked towards him. He was ruggedly handsome, brownish-red hair, and a walking stick with a diamond tip. He gave a wicked smile and a wink and suddenly Marth felt like he wanted desperately to fight. "Well, hello there, kiddo, long time no see." Marth stared with his mouth nearly unhinged. The man responded "What happened, chimera got your tongue." That triggered Marth back to reality and he glared with a look of a snake "Hello, Ares-" He said before his father interrupted him "No, please, call me dad." smiled Ares. "Alright, that's it you two-bit son of a gorgon, what do you want 'dad'." said Marth with a voice dripping of sarcasm, he placed heavy emphasis on the 'dad' part. His father only smiled "Well, well, well, at least your grandfather can't say you don't have spunk, I mean, you just sassed a god, kid." Marth interjected here angrily "I think you deserve plenty more and trust me, I can keep them coming." Ares laughed uproariously at this "Look at you! My aura hasn't even taken too much affect and your on it like a rabid wolf, you've got a fire in you kid, oh and lemme tell ya, the higher ups don't like it one bit. I mean, Aphrodite and Eros were majorly pissed, which was so uncool, Aphrodite's been giving me the cold shoulder 'cause of you, although your relationship has got her hot again. Then, the relationship has Athena on edge, she already lost one daughter to Poseidon, now she's loosing one to her older and hated brother, me! I tell ya, I'm loving it, Zeus' panties are on fire and only Hera's kept him at bay, because she says you guys are a match made on Olympus or whatever." Ares was laughing maniacally and Marth was forced to angrily interrupt Ares' reverie. "I care about this because?" To which Ares suddenly responded seriously and almost with a tone of tenderness "Be very careful my son, I know you hurt in your heart, but very soon you will be forced into your past, just be careful, you're a victor," Ares stepped forward and surprised Marth entirely by giving him an awkward and stiff hug and a kiss on the forehead ", You have my blessing as a son of Ares, and I want you to know that you are my son." Ares suddenly jumped back into character "Don't you dare disappoint me or I'll convince Hades to keep you as a pet, see ya!" And with that the world was suddenly thrown back into full speed and a car was coming straight for him and Cassie. He didn't even think as he tackled Cassie and launched onto the other side of the street. So there he was, with the new blessing of Ares, he looked built now with defined muscles and a bit bulkier, less lanky and now more like a soldier from a movie. He was however, still the same height, but he felt like his shirt was now a bit tight, that or he was even more nervous than before. But that wasn't even half of it, he had pinned down Cassie and was on top of her, his hands on either side of her head and his legs on either side of her waist. He could only stammer and say "Um..." as he looked, flustered, down at Cassie.

    OOC: lol Thanks ;)

IC: Marth nearly jumped off of Cassie and then began to beg for forgiveness over and over....and over...and over again. His face was visibly flushed and he was already getting on his hands and knees, bowing again and again to express how sorry he felt. When he saw that she was wasn't too hurt, he gave a sigh of relief and got off the floor "Are you ok?" He asked.

    OOC:

IC: Marth could take a hint, he laughed it off and agreed, He scratched the back of his head and shook it with embarrassment. Then, he began to see the changes, he looked at himself, his lankier body which had been a bit close to scrawny was now like the body of a male super agent from a movie. He'd become a male teenage model in less than two seconds. "Gods, I hate puberty..." He murmured. As he got up and straightened himself he noticed something rather embarrassing. His bulkier body made his shirt ride up past his belly button, revealing the new, defined muscle beneath. Marth quickly pulled the shirt down in a vain attempt. "Shopping tomorrow?" He asked with a flustered glance at Cassie.

    OOC: nah, It's understandable

IC: Marth followed to the car, but remained outside, and leaned against the trunk, watching as people walked by. He pulled out his hoodie and pulled it over his shirt, it was tight, but it also covered everything. As he sat, he reflected on what his father had told him, 'My past....does he mean Gerard...if he did..' He trailed off in his thoughts and looked back at the car, if possible, he knew Gerard would kill them, he was crazy and would probably think they were the ones that took him away. He turned back towards the street and for a moment, there was a pause in the flow of people and he saw a man standing across the street. Even from far away, you could see the hard, green eyes that shone with anger and sadness. The man's hair was cut short and he had no beard whatsoever. Even with the casual shirt and jeans the guy looked like a model. What no one seemed to notice was the huge sword tied to his back. Marth's pace quickened and he looked from the car back to the street and made a decision, 'It's for their own good, Gerard won't hurt them once he has me.' He thought to himself. 'Gerard might not even notice or remember me...let's find out.' He thought to himself. With that he slid off the trunk and made his way down the street. Almost as if by magic, the man was also on the move, he seemed curious and he followed Marth with quick steps. Marth pulled the hood and began to jog, the chase was on. Marth ran down the street and across an alley, he dodged in and out of buildings and did his best to lose Gerard. After a few minutes of running, he slowed his pace and side-stepped into an alleyway. He was breathing hard, but he held his breath and watched as Gerard speed-walked by. He breathed a sigh of relief and as he turned to go back to the car, a hand slipped over his mouth and nose and he couldn't breathe, he floundered for a few seconds before fainting and as he began to, he saw Gerard look at his face and smile proudly before Marth completely blacked out.

OOC: Thanks and yeah, I got you, it happens to everybody ;)

IC: Marth woke up, his blood was pounding in his head and he was in a spacious room that was quite plush. He rolled to the side of the bed and began to move about when suddenly he felt almost as if his wrist was being wrenched from its socket as he stood up quickly. When he looked to see why, a silver chain wrapped around his wrist was also wrapped around the bed post. Thus, began the ridiculous scene of Marth trying to pull the bed to move towards the door, much to Gerard's amusement. Gerard laughed and clapped his hands "You were always the cute one Koda." Marth responded with a glare "Its Marth now, Gerard." he spat with an angry tone. Gerard's eyes suddenly softened, "They brainwashed you, didn't they? You can't even remember your older brother." he sighed and mumbled something about fixing the brainwashing which upped Marth's pulse considerably. "Well, anyway," sighed Gerard ", I'll be visiting your friends, don't worry
..I won't hurt them...as long as they don't try taking you from me again." he laughed to himself quietly. Marth, despite himself was hysterical as he screamed for Gerard to not do anything to which Gerard ominously answered as the doors to the elevator closed "Don't worry little brother, it'll only be a warning visit."

Gerard walked towards the car that Cassie jogged next to and leaned against the hood and smiled, sliding a letter into the windshield wipers and sauntering off with a chuckle, he added "Read the letter, and if you follow me, I die and the location of your friend dies with me."

OOC: Hehe... sorry I wasn't clear enough :-[
....um, well its mostly just a little postcard that explains that Marth is Gerard's brother and that you guys are not supposed to follow or take him away and that he will have no problem killing...

IC: Gerard sat on the couch and put his elbows on his knees, putting his chin in his hands, he looked at Marth. The latter, which had been previously attempting to move the bed, was now sitting and panting. The bed frame itself was the issue. He'd noticed after Gerard left, that the bed post was screwed into the ground. "I need to go to the bathroom." said Marth. Gerard smiled and walked towards the end of the chain and pulled on it, saying something, it detached at his command. He held onto it tight and led him to the bathroom. "I trust I don't need to help you use the bathroom?" he asked. To which Marth answered with an angry slam of the door. "Oh so cheeky, I see you've developed a bit of a backbone." Marth, on the other hand, looked around in the bathroom, no windows at all, and the ventilation shaft was impossibly small for him. He grunted in disappointment, finished what he was doing and washed his hands and came outside. Except, Gerard wasn't holding his chain. Marth checked before making a dash for the elevator and as it opened obediently, he jumped in. Or at least he would have, if an invisible force hadn't pushed him back. Gerard stood above where Marth had fallen and looked down on him with an amused smile, "By the way, you can't leave, I placed a seal that responds to that chain, it'll only block the wearer, so well...you can't escape." he said. Marth groaned and coughed. At this, Gerard immediately sat him up and checked him over like an over concerned mother. "Looks like your fine, just don't do that again, you could've hurt yourself quite a bit mister." Marth rose an eyebrow and for the first time he looked around the apartment. It was a penthouse, with a huge pane of windows that looked out on the city. Where he sat, he saw the surroundings were the living room with plush couches and a glass table. To the left was a curving staircase that spun upwards to the second floor. The whole place was like a mini palace. "Nice place." he said begrudgingly. Gerard responded with a despondent sigh, "Oh, you don't have to be so ornery, I didn't harm your friends at all, I keep my promises, remember? But yes, I suppose I did become rather rich due to my novels, that's how I could afford this." he said while pointing towards the thin silver chain I had on. "Its Sanctified Silver, I bargained it from a rather...greedy person. Its special and it can't oft be broken by any, but the owner. Oh, and a god can also break the chain, but as both dad and mom are busy, I don't think they'll help much." he finished with a childish giggle and a wink. "Well, its time for a meeting with my editor, so I'll be out. Help yourself to the kitchen and gaming system I installed in the TV, all the passwords are on the fridge, oh and try anything funny and your friends might meet an unfortunate end." he punctuated his statement by dragging his thumb across his throat. With that, he exited, leaving Marth, who slumped onto the couch with a sigh, wondering what his friends were up to now.

    OOC:No prob ;)

IC: Marth gave a choked gasp as he fell back from the force field, he had hit it so many times that he had lost count. As he stood once more to give it another go, his leg spasmed, lurching him forward as he fell. The seal felt as if he was ramming himself into an iron wall. He was incredibly tired and every so often his stomach would growl. He propped himself up against the wall and took in a breath before he walked to the kitchen, no good would come if he just starved, instead he should be attempting to find a way to contact Cassie and the others. He had no idea of how to even try though. What would they be checking? How could he reach them? He pondered to himself. Then, the light bulb went off in his head 'The acorns.' However, our poor hero had no idea on how to use said acorns, so he spent the better half of the day trying everything before he finally slammed it into the sink in frustration. He had the key to his salvation in his hands, but he didn't know which door to use. He sank to the floor in a frustrated stalemate as he stared at the acorn in his hand.

    OOC:

IC: Marth woke up with an angry grunt. Gerard was dropping him onto a bed and walking away into the kitchen. As Marth lay, pretending to sleep he remembered the acorns, and he thought about how much he would've given to know the secret hidden in the vivid green shells. He would have to wait until Gerard went away again or slept, then he'd do what he had to and try to escape.

OOC: Its alright :D for the most part, my character has disappeared due to Gerard, Raven's looking for a spark plug for the car, and Cassie is in the middle of a panic attack cause of Gerard's letter ;)
    hope this helps

IC: Marth sat up as soon as Gerard disappeared and pulled out an acorn. "Does it need like soil, water, sunlight?" he asked himself. He was panicking, if Gerard came in now, he'd be caught and his only method or even possibility of escape would disappear. He looked about the room and looked for anything that could be used as a pot. However, his search was in vain, the apartment was well-furnished, but severely lacking in anything green. H stuffed the acorns in his pocket and looked out at the city. The morning sun was reflecting off the sky scrapers in various hues of pink, orange, and gold. Suddenly, he felt the weight of a hand on his shoulder and jumped. "Do you like the view, little brother, its yours, as long as your by me." His eyes deadened for a moment and his voice sounded broken "Your safe now, with me." Marth shivered internally and cringed. 'How in Zeus' name will I ever get out of this.' he thought. Remorse and guilt dug their teeth into his heart as he thought of a way to escape Gerard's grasp.

OOC: ;D your welcome, glad to have you back

IC: Marth angrily grunted, Gerard had left to take a shower and he now sat with the slightly glowing acorn. "What the hell do I do with these." He said aloud, it was about the fiftieth time he'd asked himself and so far, he'd received no answer. He'd already asked Gerard to get him a plant, which was granted, however, Gerard would have to leave again and claimed it to be an inconvenience. However, once Marth agreed to make him dinner, he brightened up considerably and went to take a shower. Problem was, this kitchen was quite different. At the moment, Marth was angrily cursing beneath his breath as he took off his burned shirt. It had caught on fire as he had turned on the stove and a the jet of flame erupted and hungrily ate his shirt. He was lucky enough that his skin hadn't been burned too badly and it was only a bit red and already fading. Now, as he rummaged in the fridge, he cursed his new found muscles as he kept knocking over things and under estimating his strength, this had led to multiple yolk stains on his pants. But, after a while, he had finally prepared two dishes. A pan-fried chicken breast that had been covered in egg then rolled in crumbs and spices. On the side, was a nicely cut salad with stir-fried onions and a spicy vinaigrette. And just as he finished, Gerard came downstairs and he heard the gasp before Gerard walked angrily towards him and asked "What are those scars on your back? Who gave them to you?" His voice sounded deadly serious. Marth shrugged, he felt a fear creeping up on him, and explained the incident with the gorgons as he and Gerard ate.

OOC: Can someone arrive soon please, I need someone else(or multiple people is good too), I need more than one person for this...perhaps a god could reveal the path, or you could follow a monster to the penthouse (Why a monster? That's going to be a surprise ;) )

IC: Marth watched as Gerard listened intently to the story. "Your lucky you didn't die." He said with a grunt as he placed his plate into the dishwasher. After which, he left to get the plants which wasn't too long of a trip and he returned quickly enough. However, he still was in a bad mood, and simply went upstairs to his room. Marth looked at the acorn in his palm and could only hope this would work as he planted the seed and watered it, leaving it in sunlight, in a corner. As he sat, staring at the pot and wondering when it would suddenly sprout into a mighty oak and do... well... something, he kept glancing up the stairs to Gerard's room. Eventually, he began to drift off, he was tired after all.

    OOC:

IC: Marth stirred, still staring at the pot and waiting for something magical to occur, but nothing was happening. 'Geez, do I have to sing to it or talk to it, what in Zeus' name do I do?' He thought. He watched as the city seemed to awaken from its short slumber and erupt into a hive of activity. Buses, cars, people, bikes, trucks, they all mingled together into blurs of color at the height that Marth watched this from. From where he was, a park spread out like a huge green rug on a floor of steel and tar. He watched idly, as children, little specks he could only assume for dogs, and parents played in the park. Kites flew high in the sky like bright splashes of color against the gray and silver canvas of the city. It would've been relaxing if not for the fact he was being held prisoner. However, he still held a few feelings for Gerard, after all, they were related. These scenes of happy families must've been torture for him. Another icy knife of quilt stabbed his heart and he tore his gaze from the window and back towards the planted acorns.

OOC: Sorry guys, don't have much to say here, um, the location is basically a large hotel, top floor, I'll just sit here and stall while you guys get here

IC: Marth gave a sigh and turned over, he watched as the skies slowly became cloudy, 'Oh, it's going to rain while I'm trapped and feeling like crap, what a cliche.' He thought with a bitter tone. People slowly left the sidewalks, many noticing the sky that slowly grayed. Soon the park was empty except for a few adventurous people, and other more oblivious tourists.
