Captainpup, ever the easily-excited, bounced up to the newcomer with a cheery grin on his black-rimmed maw. Being a pup, of course, the dingo didn't really take notice of formalities and instead, seeing that there was a stranger right in front of him, went right ahead and introduced himself. "Hi!" he yipped, tail wagging. "I'm Captainpup! I haven't seen you before, did you just join?" while the boy asked aloud one question, however, it was internally followed by several more. Oh wow, a cat! There aren't very many cats around here! Why aren't there too many cats around here? Is something wrong with cats? Are they an endangered species or something? Why are they endangered? Are they going to go extinct?why did this one come here? Where is she from? Is she going to stay in Shadowclan? Maybe she'll take a clan-wide census of all the cats here, and then go to a secret headquarters somewhere where they keep information like that!

Cap stood on the fringe of the little group, a worried look on his face as he shuffled his paws both nervously and rather awkwardly. Though nobody there really knew him, and the dingo pup wasn't exactly the best at comforting people, he still wanted to be there. Redvelvet was leader now, and as leader he was supposed to do anything he could to help her, right? And she needed help now, doubtlessly. Unable to find the words, however, Cappy remained a short distance away, as if he had been passing by and only stopped to see what the matter was, which was more or less true. He was here if anyone needed him.

"Splinters," Captainpup said as he trotted up "are horrible." that, he decided, was the general opinion here. Even cappy hated them, though he hadn't ever gotten one before. And if coruse, not having gotten one and hardly knowing what a splinter was, his mind was instantly filling with questions. how did he get the splinter? How bad did it hurt? How deep was it? Was there blood? A splinter was when some wood was stuck in your skin, right? Did the size of the wood matter? Could someone have a chunk of wood the size of their head sticking our of their back and have that be called a splinter? Had anyone ever had a splinter like that? Would he ever have a splinter?

"Woah! Did you switch bodies? That's so cool!" the dingo pup barked as he bounced up, looking at the tabby with admiration. "That has got to be one of the coolest things I've ever seen!" even though Cap hadn't seen much in the way of powers, this was still really cool, and the pup wished he could so something like that. As usual, however, his head was quickly filling with questions. where did he get that body? How does he switch bodies? What if he's only acting with some wolf? Why would the wolf want to be in Shadowclan just to act like some cat was getting a power? Wait, did someone call him Lovi? Was that short for Lovino? That was the guy America was talking about! What was the thing he told me to ask him? Uhm... tilting his head to the side and flicking his ears curiously, the dingo pup widened his chocolate oculars at the one he thought was this 'Lovino' person. "Hey, by the way, um, are you Lovino? I just wanted to ask- " wow, he really needed to get used to asking the questions that came to his head. Slowly, America's voice came drifting back from that day Cap had had a meet n' greet. " -I, um, met this weird guy called America awhile back, and, um, he wanted me to ask you if you thought he was a hero or something." Having said that, he couldn't stop from adding "Oh yeah, and, um, he said that everything you said was the opposite of what you meant."

Flicking an ear, the canine turned his deep brown oculars down and looked at the soil beneath his paws. "Why is dirt brown?" he asked himself quietly. Captainpup jumped as the two appeared, eyes wide. He hadn't exactly meant for anyone to hear those questions, and the she-kit's rather upsetting response only drove deeper the belief that he must keep all - or most, at least - of his questions inside him. "I was just wondering was all." he retorted defensively. Then, turning to the lioness, he gave a nod of his head in greeting. "'S okay." he said simply. "Nice to meet you! I'm Captainpup."

The bear lumbered over to the border, his face expressionless. He wasn't sure if he really wanted to join. Creatures smaller than him annoyed him, and creatures larger than him angered him. Maybe this wasn't the right place for the brown bear. He almost turned to go before he remembered what it was like behind him. Hunters, always hunters, and loneliness, though he liked that. And he got to beat up the smaller creatures as much as he wanted back there, whereas here... Well, he knew the rules. The hunters were his main concern though; he wasn't planning on dying just so that his head could be cut off, stuffed, and mounted on the wall of one of their rooms. It was still a hard decision - he did like teaching those annoying little squirrels a lesson - but the greatest need won out. Huffing in annoyance, the great bear stood resolutely at the border.

Tracking

Well. This might end up being a good choice, if everyone was like this. Polite and all. "W.A. Mozart, here to join." the bear replied in a somewhat gruff tone. Flicking an ear, he wondered if large cats were the norm here is this 'clan' or whatever they called it. Certainly seemed like it, from the two that had appeared already. Funny, he hadn't known that Cheetahs and Ligers lived in this forest.

The bear dipped his head in greeting, shifting his eyes from one creature to the next, but lingering on the two cats. are there no other animals besides felines in this group? "Thank you and hello." he stated to those gathered. "It's nice meeting you all."

Mozart padded up, the bear looming over the others gathered. Peering over their heads, he wrinkled his nose in disapproval. Though he didn't know the scent, it was clear what must've happened. Well. Whatever it was that had killed this wildcat, Mozart would get the better of it. Just let this murderer try and attack him. Other than a snort, however, he remained silent. The others would probably figure this out sooner or later, and anyways he was no detective, though if he set his mind to becoming one he thought he would easily equal Sherlock Holmes in intelligence and ingenuity.
