[fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; width: 500px;][justify][font=georgia]Snow, glorious snow! It was practically winter and to be honest the girl of five moons couldn't be any happier about it. Honestly miss Leyla Barret found the coolness of snow squishing underneath her paws quite calming and lovely. In fact unlike other animals she much preferred the snowed under days of winter to those of the stinking hot summer. Yet maybe that was just because of the fact that against such a white backdrop she was night on invisible, apart from her almond shaped blue eyes of course. Leyla had wanted to leave the small little caves she had resided in for a long time now; yet she had been gifted with the brains to know that she would travel best during the snowy days of winter.

For a young girl of only five moons one could safely say that Leyla acted as if she was years older than her appearance and the statistics portrayed. Classy and polite, although completely unafraid of dishing out the sass when desired, the young lady was the very essence of someone who might belong to a 'high society'. But Leyla wasn't of noble birth, or even of notable birth! She had simply been raised well by her father, the parent she had chosen to live with when her parents had split. From her father Leyla had learnt that love could wait and that being well known and cementing her position within wherever she happened to be was the important thing. So Leyla couldn't care less if she broke a couple of hearts during her youth, she simply wasn't looking for love in her life. Nor was she looking for a family - she just wanted to be the best that she could be.

So the blue-eyed lassie had chosen SunClan when her father had bid her farewell, telling her that she had a greater life to look forwards to than the one he led in the hidden away caves. Leyla had heeded his advice and trotted off without another thought to the matter; of course she loved her father but she also knew that she had the potential to be something better. Better than a cave residing and scroungy feline that was!

Padding up the gentle slope of the snow covered hill, having just padded the fringes of the village, the young girl put a gentle smile on her maw. As she passed old weatherboard and brick houses the five moon old would turn her head, studying the buildings with somewhat impressed blue eyes. She had heard that previously the town dwelling clan had once inhabited a cathedral which had, according to the tales, been quite beautiful. But to the classy young lady nothing could compare to this well kept and gorgeous village - t'was the perfect place for someone like her to reside.

Looking up with almond shaped eyes the girl realised she was now atop the hill and in the heart of the town. In front of her towered a large brick building which she believed was the largest in the town judging by what she had seen. It was beautiful too, with ivy creeping up the red brick walls and giving it a quite mystical look to it. Her ears pricking the five moon old would look around her with clear blue eyes, wondering if anyone was around. "Hello? I believe this is SunClan, right?" Leyla meowed brightly, flicking her tail in a friendly and happy manner.

[fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; width: 500px;][justify][font=georgia]Maybe he could meet Leyla?
She's just joined and it would be good to have her some friends <3

[fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; width: 500px;][justify][font=georgia]Bewitchy could meet Leyla?
I've just put her into the clan and she could do with some friends <3

[fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; width: 500px;][justify][font=georgia]"Ding ding ding. Right on the money, honey." Ears swiveling towards the sound the little she-kit would spin on her paws to face the chocolate york with the horns and black wings. The voice had sounded friendly and warm, although the owner of it seemed a little strange in the eyes of the blue-eyed feline. Not strange in a mean or unfair way, but simply strange in appearance with her horns and black wings. But Leyla had been brought up well and proper and knew not to judge someone by how they looked. Anyway, the older fem's voice had been warm and welcoming, something which hadn't gone amiss with Leyla.

"I'm Cain! What's your name? And most importantly, why are you here?" Offering a small smile as Cain spoke and winked the five moons old dipped her head politely. "It's nice to meet you Miss," Leyla meowed, showing her still somewhat kit-like formality as she called Cain 'Miss'. "My name is Leyla, Leyla Barret, and I was hoping to join." The alabaster she-kit added, answering Cain's questions in a calm and friendly tone. As another voice spoke up the girl's blue eyes flickered over to find the form of a tom-kit probably only a moon or two younger than herself. As he waved she smiled back, flicking her tail simply in a form of greeting.

"Nice to meet you Bewitchingkit - I'm Leyla." She said, greeting the oddly eyed kitten with her polite words.

[fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; width: 500px;][justify][font=georgia]It was Leyla's first day in SunClan and although her calm demeanor did not portray it the five moon old kit was really shaking in her boots. Or she would be, if she happened to own a pair of boots. There were new, strange and unknown faces around every corner in SunClan and at the moment Leyla was anxious. What if people didn't like her? What if she wasn't funny enough? Or friendly enough, or even smart enough? The alabaster she-cat's mind was a mess of nerves but somehow she managed to hide it well, walking around the place with a pleasant smile on her maw.

As the slightly stuttering voice cut through the silence the young girl pricked her ears, blue eyes flickering over to the ginger coated kit whom had introduced herself as Peggy. Listen to her stutter Leyla had decided that was exactly what she didn't want to do during her first few days in the clan. She didn't want to appear nervous or frightened, she wanted to be seen as headstrong, determined and overall someone worth knowing. At only five moons of age that was quite an ambition, but the snowy white girl was determined to make it work.

With a smile on her face the she-kit, who would soon be an apprentice, padded over to the slowly growing group. "Hi there guys, pleasure to meet you all - I'm Leyla." She purred, her blue eyes flickering around each of the SunClanners gathered and managing to recognise only Dakota from when she had joined.

[fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; width: 500px;][justify][font=georgia]Well that name ain't half short, is it? The alabaster coated fem was thinking to herself as her pricked ears flicked in the direction of the brown ticked tabby tom. Just as the thought had crossed the pretty kit's mind Dakota spoke, telling her she may as well forget the rest as long as she remembered the first one. Well, he at least seemed to have a sense of humour - which was something that never went amiss if you wanted to be close to Leyla. A warm smile on her maw the snowy coloured she-cat would let out a gentle and tranquil laugh. "I think I'll manage to remember that first one... All though the others might prove to be a problem." The she-kit teased in a friendly manner with a playful wink of one of her bright blue luminaries. As the tom stuck his paw out for her to shake she instinctively shook it, or got as close to shaking one's paw as a cat could. Yes, she liked this Dakota kid and she could imagine them being friends in the future.

As Cain welcomed her to the clan with a small smile and then a large grin the white girl shot a happy beam right back at her. "Thank you - and I might take you up on that offer one day," Leyla meowed in response with a nod of her alabaster head. "Although for now I think exploring the place myself might prove interesting." Came the added words of the snowy kit.

[fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; width: 500px;][justify][font=georgia]Ah, so this young Peggy girl was Dakota's sister! After finding this out things began to click in the head of the snowy coated fem and she offered a warm smile to Peggy as the ginger's brother turned around to greet her. "Hey there, Dakota! SunClan's great, I think I might just stick around." Leyla said with a happy smile, flicking her tail in greeting to the familiar form of the brown ticked tabby tom. As he had when they had first met Dakota had proved himself friendly and quite fun to talk to. To the azure eyed lassie the tom-kit always seemed to have a smile on his maw and she liked that about him.

As Cain popped up with shining golden eyes and asking the same question Leyla flashed her a warm smile too. Cain was nice and although much older than the five moon old kit Leyla still enjoyed socialising with her. "It's great here!" Came the happily exclaimed words of the young feline.

[fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; width: 500px;][justify][font=georgia]A meet and greet? Well Leyla wouldn't so much be meeting the host as she would the others that showed up, for she had already met the brown ticked tabby male. But anyway, the idea of cementing her presence into the minds of another few people didn't sound too bad to the she-kit. Well, if you didn't have the same mindset as Leyla than her ambitions would come off as pure arrogance or maliciousness. But Leyla just wanted to get somewhere in life and that meant making friends and letting people know who she was.

Padding over with her head held high and her blue eyes twinkling the white feline offered Dakota and the others a friendly grin. "I do believe we've already met, but hi all the same." Leyla greeted Dakota, a playful smile on her face as she turned her gaze to Bewitchingkit, another tom-kit she had already met. "Hey there Bewitchingkit!" Leyla called, flourishing her tale in a friendly gesture of greeting to the tom.

[fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; width: 500px;][justify][font=georgia]Well, it seemed that these Sunclanners weren't half slow when it came to keeping up with what was happening inside the clan. For sure Leyla felt that half the bloody clan must be here to greet her as more cats turned up to introduce themselves. Keeping a friendly smile on her maw the white she-kit wondered if the constant flow of new faces would ever stop. Not that she really minded it though, the more people she met now the easier it would be for her to fit in around the clan. As one by one creatures of varying ages, species and colours introduced themselves she would dip her head politely to them.

"It's Leyla," The young girl meowed in answer to Bonepup's question before she addressed everyone else. "And it's lovely to meet you all!" The alabaster girl meowed, her blue eyes sparkling as she reached out an ivory paw to shake the paw of Eli Miller.

[fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; width: 500px;][justify][font=georgia]SunClan had proved to be surprisingly easy to settle into. At first the frosty coloured feline had thought that she would be completely out of place among all of the SunClanners. If Leyla was expecting anything it was to be accepted into the clan somewhat coolly and with hesitation. The five moon old fem had heard great things about the clan and had been instantly drawn to it, yet nothing could have prepared the pearly white girl for the welcome she was to receive. A seeming endless line of SunClanners had come to greet her with smiles on their maws as they introduced themselves. It had been a lot to take in for the the young girl and she was certain that she had, by now, forgotten a couple of the names.

One she hadn't forgotten however was Dakota, the brown ticked tabby tom-kit who had introduced himself with some absurdly long name and a handshake - well a pawshake really as cats didn't exactly have hands. Nestled on her haunches in a neat sitting position with her snowy tail wrapped over her paws the young lady appeared to be lost in thought. Leyla was daydreaming to be exact, thinking of what it would be like next moon when she would be able to hunt and fight - when she would actually be able to prove herself.

Leyla may be classy, elegant and polite but the spirit inside her was that of a purebred warrior. Wasn't that why she had come to SunClan - to prove herself? The five moon old child had no thoughts of love or even crushes in her pretty little mind. Instead she thought only of her future, of the warrior she was destined to be. Grinning inwardly at the thought the blue-eyed little lassie was suddenly jolted back into awareness as a sharp and confident yap sounded behind her. Jumping and letting out a small yip of shock the fem spun around on her paws, her wide blue eyes falling upon the coyote pup.

Who was he? What was he doing running up behind her and scaring her like that? Why, he ought to be ashamed of himself! "Fruit cakes!" Leyla exclaimed, using the term instead of cussing. "W-who are you?" The alabaster pelted she-kit meowed, blue eyes still wide with the fright and shock of the male's sudden appearance.

[fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; width: 500px;][justify][font=georgia]When she had heard the term 'party' being used the young lady of five moons had imagined something a little more... elegant, so to speak. To the classy alabaster furred girl a party was something classy with fancy decorations and a beautiful setting with a delicious menu. Instead what one of the newest SunClanner's was greeted to was an opportunity for just about anyone to get high and wasted.

Standing on the outskirts the kit could be seen to bite her lip in an almost anxious manner. The music was loud and had a good beat despite making it hard for her to hear her own thoughts and the flashing lights, although excellent and glorious in their dazzling colours, were giving her a headache just by watching them. To be honest Leyla wasn't even sure why she had such high expectations of a party and why she felt disappointed now that it was before her blue eyes.

This was a stupid idea. The white pelted girl thought to herself with a gentle sigh as she looked around the outskirts for someone familiar. That's when she spotted him, the male who had stuck out his paw and introduced himself as Eli. Hoping he wouldn't mind some extra company Leyla padded towards him, being awfully careful to stay out of the way of the already drunk NPC SunClanners. "Hi, Eli right?" Leyla meowed with a gentle smile in the tom's direction.
