"I thought for sure I would be deputy!" growled Redpelt at the edge of the creek. After a few moments, his eyes widened, "A deputy wouldn't have done that!" he continued, "What knocked the sense out of me? I had such supportive friends and now... I.. I'm not even sure if I have friends!" Cried the guilty warrior, tears forming in his eyes. Redpelt looked up, "Oh, StarClan. What do I do!" He couldn't hold it in much longer. Tears rushed down the LightClan warrior cheeks but he was disturbed by a call from the other side of the creek. It was a familiar voice. It was.... Brightstars! Redpelt swam to the other side of the creek, the tears washing away. He ran to the voice and saw it was her and... another cat? "Who is she?" Mewed the warrior.

Redpelts eyes widened as he overheard the cats, leaving Brightstar in anger. He ran back to camp, hoping everyone would understand when he apologized. He slowed his pace once he reached the clearing and stopped in the middle. He looked around at all the glares he received, but he then found one cat, smiling to himself in the corner. Redpelt padded up to Liongrowl and stood in front of him, fixing his eyes on the new deputy. "I'm sorry. I don't know what I was thinking. A true warrior never would have done that, but I hope to get a second chance." Mewed the warrior, looking at his paws.

Redpelt nodded and touched noses with Liongrowl quickly, hoping it wouldn't bother him. He decided to check on Laughreverse, remembering his ignorance towards her the other day. He check the warriors den and then headed to the creek, being her favorite way of relaxing, too. He red tom padded out into the cold forest, the falling leaves being a sign of leaf-bare. Redpelt saw the white and brown pelt by the creek side, and he walked up to her. He licked her head before letting her see him. "I am so sorry for what I did, it's was a foolish thing, Laughingreverse, and I apologize. Please forgive me." mewed the LightClan warrior, looking into her angry green eyes.

"Okay!"mewed Redpelt with a hint of curiousity in his voice, pressing his pelt to hers as they walked through the forest. Once they were deep into LightClans territory, he sniffed the hair and caught scent of a squirrel. "Found a squirrel!" Said the red tom, spotting the fluffy tail scurrying up a tree. He dropped into a crouch and leaped on it, finishing the squirming animal quickly. He turned to his mate, "Come on!".

Redpelts eyes grew wide in astonishment and the prey in his mouth dropped on to the ground with a loud thud. "That...that's...amazing! That's wonderful!" He paused, his eyes as big as bowling balls. "I can't believe it! They are going to be as beautiful as you." Mewed the jumpy warrior, springing up and down. He felt as if he could defeat StarClan 10 times! Redpelt pressed his nose to her fur thankfully. He thought about apprenticing them... and them being honored as warriors.

    Happy New Years, Wonderful Clan!!!

Redpelt dropped his squirrel and mouse, but kept the hawk for his mate. He chose a fat mouse and padded to the warriors den. Seeing she wasn't in there, he remembered she had to stay in the nursery, now. He frowned and turned towards the den with kits playing outside of it. He looked in and saw her in the shadows in the back of the big room. "I forgot you were sleeping here. Let me help you!" Redpelt dropped the fresh kill and ran off to fetch some fresh moss. He came back and placed it beside Laughingreverse. "I will take the feathers off." Mewed the red tom kindly, plucking off the soft black feathers.
