he's very optimistic and up-beat, so much to the point where it can get annoying. he's very brave, but not the smartest, and very prideful and arrogant - mix these things together and you'll see he can be very reckless. luckily, palutena - the sassy, yet somehow level-headed at the same time - goddess that resides in his mind keeps him on track. plus, pretty soon the kid's head will be filling up with other 'divine presences.' he's open for threads, and possible other plots - just toss stuff at me below!

pit exited his den into camp, his ivory wings tuck tightly against his sides. he looked miserable, his brown fur even more wild than usual, his ears pinned back against his skull, his usually bright blue eyes a bit dull. he'd suffered from a serious cold the past week and had been forced into confinement in the medicine den until he healed. now that he was finally getting better, he could go out. the young apprentice nosed his way out of camp, when suddenly, his face lit up. the ground was covered in a pure white blanket, so bright it burned his eyes. little frozen bits floated down like icy confetti. the wind whipped past him, so frigid it made his pelt bristle. the flakes landed on his back and wings, making him shiver. he stuck out his tongue, catching a few; they melted pleasantly in his mouth. pit grinned. "woah-h-ho! what is this stuff?" he exclaimed. palutena giggled. "that's snow, pit. and just for the record, putting strange substances in your mouth usually isn't the best way to find out what they are. is this really your first snow?"
"yuh-huh. wait, what do you mean first?"
"it snows every year, in the winter, the coldest season."
"huh. earth is weird." he let out a huff, extending the large wings on his back and shaking them out. "and cold!" he hesitantly stepped into the snow, wondering what to do with it exactly.

"ok," he muttered, "snow was fun at first, but now it's just annoying. and cold. really cold." palutena laughed lightly. "aw, toughen up, you big baby," she teased. the tom huffed. "yeah, you say that but it's not like you've ever experienced snow." "as far as you know." "hmph." pit rolled over once more, but unfortunately for him the rock ended there. with a yelp, he was sent crashing to the ground, his fall luckily broken by a pile of snow. after a few moments he sat up, a bit dazed. his entire pelt was powdered white, and he was shivering. palutena stifled giggles.
