Blazetail~

Blazetail nodded to Crushclaw as he entered the camp. News was that two kits were attacked by a fox while they were wandering in the forest. Blazetail padded next to Crushclaw, "How did this get so bad so quickly?" he mewed. Crushclaw's amber eyes were smoldering. " All because we weren't thorough." Crushclaw's tail lashed angerily. Blazetail nudged his friend, " Calm down Crushclaw, we will be okay. The foxes left the territory and if they ever do show up, we will be expecting them." Blazetail was certain this wouldn't happen to them again now that he and Crushclaw had learned their lesson. You must never spare a fox.

Strikepaw perked up a bit. " ahaha! Come on Blackpaw let's catch up! I'm glad your not mad or anything." Strikepaw began to get a little cheerful again. Things looked nasty but it all turned out well because they wee such good friends. Again, that weird inner voice spoke up once more, questioning the use of boundaries. He shook the thought away. To Strikepaw, clans are supposed to have boundaries. They make us feel protected and gives us something worth protecting, but that one anti-boundary question keeps popping up at times like this.

Strikepaw figured he had more to worry about than just boundaries. He glanced ahead of him as he trotted through the forest towards camp. He observed the slinder, silky shadow that moved effortlessly through the territory. Nightwing's paws landed as silently as a shadow as she pulled ahead. Although, he said he would talk to her when they got back to camp, he still felt like he didn't have enough time to find words to explain his feelings to Nightwing. This was the first time he'd heard of any cat having such an interest in him. Strikepaw absentmindedly walked into the camp just as Swiftstar called for a clan meeting.

Lotuswhisper had just finished lining his nest when he heard Silentstar call for a clan meeting.Ugh..... What does Silentstar want this time... I've been on my paws all day... As usual, Lotuswhisper grumbled and groaned as he left his alluring best to listen to the coming announcements.

Lotuswhisper looked up as he heard his name being called for the gathering. This'll be fun... I get to meet more annoying cats. He licked his forepaw and chuckled slightly. Well... It won't be all bad with Frozenpaw there with me. Lotuswhisper went into the warriors den and curled up for a quick nap.

Strikepaw hadn't heard his name because he wasn't paying too much attention. He shook his head and looked at Ivypaw when she told him and Blackpaw to tell her what happens at the gathering." Uhh, yeah we will. Don't worry Ivypaw." Strikepaw said. He glanced at Nightwing for a small heartbeat before turning his attention back to Blackpaw and Ivypaw. I better not talk to her half-heartedly... Strikepaw focused on a way tell Nightwing how he felt.

Crushclaw~

Crushclaw walked over to the fresh kill pile and picked up a mouse. He sat down and began to nibble into it angrily. Blazetail sat next to him and picked a vole for himself. "Still frustrated... Huh Scratch?" Crushclaw glanced at Blazetail and continued chewing his mouse." You know, there is nothing else we can really do about this except be ready for the next time. So don't waste your energy being angry, your whiskers will fall off." Blazetail said as he began to eat his vole. Crushclaw stopped eating his mouse, " I know you're right, but it's hard to just let it go. I mean, look at what happened to two of the clans kits." Blazetail said nothing more as he patted Crushclaw's back with his tailtip, while eating their prey in silence.

Strikepaw shook his head. " I-I'm fine... I was just daydreaming a little." He chuckled nervously. Then he straightened up and looked around, " Well then... I guess I'm going to a gathering. I don't think I've ever gone before. The one time I had a chance I messed it up a couple moons back." He looked happily at Ivypaw, " I guess I'm in the same boat with the first timers."

Strikepaw's bright blue eyes sparked at challenge of adventure. He couldn't wait to meet the cats from the other clans. He wondered what they would be like, or what they would smell like. He felt as excited as when he was first apprenticed. " I can't wait for it. I welcome adventure!" Strikepaw exclaimed.

Strikepaw nodded in agreement to Blackpaw. He also couldn't wait for the things they'll learn. " I'm going to get something to eat before we go."

Crushclaw~

Crushclaw sat up instantly when he heard Soulstar's yowl. Blazetail was soon next to him with the same look of interest. The two toms walked to the clearing quickly.

OoC: I will be making three new cats. One for SwiftClan, SilentClan, and SoulClan. I want to challenge myself more.

IC:

Lotuswhisper lazily rose from his nest. Its such a shame that I have to leave you so soon... But a warrior's work is never done. He gave himself a shake and stretched. He walked out into the camp clearing and slowly glanced around before finally decided to eat a mouse or two before leaving to the gathering. Lotuswhisper padded over to the fresh kill.

Strikepaw took a vole for himself and sat down to eat. He was so excited to go to the gathering. Then, a thought of Nightwing flashed in his mind. His tail lashed a bit. He still wasn't sure how he would respond to her bold confession. Sure, he admired Nightwing. She is an awesome cat. He just didn't know how to say what he had to say. Strikepaw had thought he'd gotten more confident these past couple of moons, but he still felt anxious and hesitant. Ugh, mouse dung... I feel like a mouse more than a cat. He bit into his prey to try to shake the thoughts swirling around in his head.

Crushclaw~

"Ohhh.... The gathering huh? Looks like the other cats will soon know the greatness that is Crushclaw. At the end of the gathering, all the clans will want a cat like me in their own clans." Crushclaw boasted. Blazetail shook his head, " I don't know about that." he said with teasing smirk. Crushclaw puffed his chest out, "Well it's not like they want cats like you since you're not going. It'd be hard to admire a cat you've never heard of." Crushclaw shot back. "Well played sir." Blazetail chuckled. Crushclaw padded alongside Blazetail, " Oh don't worry about not knowing what happened at the gathering.." Crushclaw began. Blazetail looked at Crushclaw with a knowing look in his eyes, " I'll never hear the end of it. I know." Blazetail said. "You should get a bit of rest before you go." Crushclaw nodded in agreement, "Way ahead of you Blaze." Crushclaw turned and padded to the warriors makeshift den, and waved his tail goodbye.

Strikepaw looked at Blackpaw and then nodded slowly. "Actually... I've just been thinking about what I want to say to Nightwing. She seemed pretty heated hen I misunderstood her confession." Then he tilted his head slightly, " Come to think of it... How would Autumnpaw know anything about a crush Nightwing has?"

Strikepaw nodded. " Yeah but that's bad news for me because that would mean she's had a crush on such an absentminded, mouse brain of an apprentice for like 4 or 5 moons now." Strikepaw chuckled a little, " She must have had it rough dealing with an oblivious cat like me." He said half jokingly.

Strikepaw's ears pricked. " You do? Really?" he mewed in a surprised tone. "Whoa, you are so far ahead.. Is it Shadepaw?"

Strikepaw straightened up and looked confident. "Hmph! Don't underestimate a top class mystery solver," some of his confidence withered away a bit as he continued, " but really I've just seen the way she glances at you. It was all stars in her eyes, so I guess any cat could have guessed, even someone as absentminded as me." He smiled lightly.

Lotuswhisper sat down with a mouse in his jaws. He set the mouse down and began to bite into it. His mind drifted to his friend Dustpaw and Lepoardstrike who disappeared a few moons back. Had Dustpaw stuck around, he'd be a warrior with me. I wonder what his warrior name would have been... Lotuswhisper ate his mouse in a melancholic and nostalgic mood.

Lotuswhisper finished eating his mouse and laid on his side. He thought it would be nice to catch a quick nap before some cat needed him. So with that thought, Lotuswhisper began to dose off.

OOC: HorizonClan won't make it because the activity went down and I haven't had a recent post in weeks... Sadly I think it just died out... :( but I shall keep hope alive...

Strikepaw~

Strikepaw made his way into the clearing.Whoa so many cats! So much to learn... Strikepaw glanced around the clearing and saw many cats mingling. Well I guess I better look for someone to share tongues with.... He glanced around the clearing and spotted a cat lurking around the edge of the clearing. The cat had a rather harsh look in his ice blue eyes. Although he had a rather unapproachable vibe, Strikepaw decided that the cat could use company.

Lotuswhisper~

Lotuswhisper sat at the edge of the clearing as the other cats mingled with each other. So this is what a gathering is all about huh? Talking to cats you'll have to fight later on one day. Lotuswhisper looked over and saw a cat a tad but shorter than he was padding up to him with a friendly gleam in his eye.Ugh..... He's one of those super friendly types huh? As the gray Tom got close, Lotuswhisper looked him in the eye, " Who are you?"
