Blazetail~

Blazetail's heart sank when he ears about the recent fox attack. Working together with Crushclaw, he'd managed to defeat a young fox a couple of moons ago. This must be that same fox! Blazetail's grass green gaze hardened as he remembered young Soulstar, the newcomer Raven, and Crushclaw all left camp earlier today. He had to warn them. It's going to be hard on Crushclaw for him to have to defend an untrained cat as well as his leader.

"I'm going to regroup with Soulstar's patrol. They aren't aware of the fox threat yet!" He announced as he bounded out of the camp. He had to hurry so tht the fox doesn't take them by surprise.

Crushclaw~

"........ And this is were I first met Soulstar!" Crushclaw was standing next to an unusual, yellowish rock. " She was with an older cat (whoever the deputy is) and she claimed to be the next leader of SoulClan. HA! I figured they were just messing around with me. 'How could such a small adorable cat be leader of a whole clan?' I say. Of course Blazetail was all amazed and stuff but as loners we were still skeptical." Crushclaw closed his eyes for a bit, lost in memories. " But Soulstar had proven herself time after time. Coincidentally, when we met her she was on her way to receive her nine lives. After that day, I hadn't doubted her since." He nudged Soulstar playfully, " Even though she's still wet behind the ears." He chuckled.

Lotuswhisper left the camp in search of a good nest. Lotuswhisper decided to head towards the eastern part of the territory. That's where his secret training was and he remembered that since it was so quiet there, that birds always dropped feathers there when making their nest. There was also a good bit of moss there so going to his training spot would prove fruitful. Lotuswhisper headed there without a second thought.

Lotuswhisper had just finished gathering his nest materials and began to head back to camp. Lotuswhisper walked calmly through the forest. A lot has happened these past few moons.... Somehow I got over Winterpaw being around... I even see her a true blue clanmate. Then there's Frozenpaw... At that thought, Lotuswhisper got flustered and shook his head. Lotuswhisper continued on his way with a little more pep in his step as his mind wandered and daydreamed about his mate.

Crushclaw~

Crushclaw came back from seeing that the foxes had left the territory. He was furious with the foxes for attacking his clanmates and he was furious with himself for making sure that young fox had been finished off. He chose to let it go thinking it had learned it's lesson, but it obviously didn't. Crushclaw padded to his group with his tail hanging low, " Are you three okay? Are you hurt anywhere?" He asked.

Blazetail~

Blazetail padded behind Crushclaw as they entered the clearing. Blazetail had gotten to the clearing just as the foxes attacked. Blazetail could do nothing more than jump into battle. He looked on as Crushclaw checked on his patrol. As annoying as that furball can be, he has an honest side to him. He wondered if he was the only one to notice that until that day he and Crushclaw were invited to join SoulClan. Most cats would instantly dislike Crushclaw from his cockiness, so they never stuck around long enough to see a cool side of Crushclaw. I know this is the right place for us. Crushclaw, and the rest of my clanmates will thrive here.. I will not let any fox or, whatever, threaten our peaceful life with SoulClan. Blazetail lashed his tail as he glared into the direction where the foxes fled to.

Strikepaw was watching a cat running from the SilentClan territory, going after a rabbit. She was so close. If she would have pounced a bit earlier, she would have had it! He thought. Then his clanmates Blackpaw, and Ivypaw materialized out of no where and were questioning her about hunting in our territory. Strikepaw bounded from the bush he was hiding under and intercepted the quarreling cats. " Hey, Hey! Let's not be hasty here.. She didn't prey steal. I saw what happened." Strikepaw said.

Blazetail~

Blazetail looked at Raven with sympathy in his grass green eyes. " If you wouldn't have killed the fox... It would have killed you and not shed one tear." Crushclaw lifted his chin and tail, " You did what Blazetail and I should have done all those moons ago. If you keep behaving so awesomely, you just might, MIGHT, catch up to the greatness that is Crushclaw! After all... I am-" Blazetail slapped his tail across Crushclaw's muzzle. " Really, Scratch? (Scratch is Crushclaw's loner name before joining the clan)Even at a time like this, you can find a way to be silly." Crushclaw ducked away from Blazetail's tail, " It's been a while since I've been called that! Boy, do I remember those days!"

Blazetail~

Blazetail was relieved that Raven wasn't too broken up after Soulstar's words. "The good thing is, we weren't badly injured. Leaf-bare is coming soon and we can't afford to have any cat in a weakened state." Blazetail meowed. Crushclaw shrugged, "Leaf bare can come and try to mess my clan up, but I won't let it. I'll have fattened up the whole clan to last us through it all, before, prey shortage even becomes a problem. I am pretty awesome." Crushclaw said with his chin and tail raised high. Blazetail nodded, chuckling at Crushclaw's bold statements.

Strikepaw was relieved to see tht he had somehow averted what could have been a bad fight. He didn't see any point in taking prisoners over a mistake any apprentice could have made. Strikepaw tilted his head when he heard that Nightpaw gossips so much. Usually whenever he's around her she's so quiet and humble. He guessed that she-cats just do whatever when they're together. Geez, she-cats sure are confusing. Why be so meek around me and talkative around the females? Strikepaw couldn't begin to understand the she-cats mind and he shook his head before the thought of figuring them out drove him crazy. "Nightwing just must be coming down with a cold or something. I'll cheer her up! It's the least I can do for her being so cool about everything!"

Strikepaw thought that Autunmpaw was a pretty cool cat as well. Even though she was from a different clan, she was worried about Kindleflame and her kits. It's at times like these that Strikepaw wonders why boundaries are necessary.

Crushclaw~

"It seems like you underestimate the great and powerful Crushclaw of SoulClan." Crushclaw stalked around the group of cats, " I'm the best when it comes to fighting for and feeding my clan. I won't let anything stand in my way from doing what's right." Crushclaw say down and licked his right forepaw. Blazetail snorted, " That sounds promising... Except you've never beaten me in sparring. And I'm a better tree climber than you are.. And I'm better at fishing than you are.." Crushclaw jumped up quickly, " Oh come on.. Leave climbing to the squirrels and fishing to the fish. And don't get cocky just because you fight dirty. I'm still the best!" Crushclaw said with an annoyed huff. Blazetail let a lazy smirk creep onto his face as he watched Crushclaw get flustered.

Strikepaw's mind whirled in confusion. Crush? What? Nightwing? Strikepaw figured that this was just some trick. Maybe they don't want me to know who it really is... So they are disguising the real target with my name... Hmph.. Very sly you two, but I'm smarter than that!(lol) Strikepaw looked at Nightwing and then Autumnpaw, " Ah... So you guys think you can just trick me huh?" Strikepaw closed his eyes dramatically, " But... I happen to be powerful when it comes to figuring out mysteries."

Uhm.... Accepted? XD!

Strikepaw coughed a bit, surprised. "Wait what?"

Blazetail~

Blazetail trotted after Raven, but stopped and looked at Crushclaw. " There is one more thing I'm better than you at, and it's being tactful. Crushclaw looked at him confused. " Tactful? What? Are you just making things up now?" Crushclaw called after him, but Blazetail didn't respond as he bounded off after Raven. That Blazetail! Even though he and Crushclaw had grown up beside one another like real littermates would, Crushclaw still couldn't fully figure his longtime friend out.

Strikepaw looked at her with confusion in his eyes, then a look of understanding hit him. " oh don't be like that.. My disappointment comes from not being able to solve a mystery... It seems like this one got wrapped up pretty quickly. As for you, I never once assumed you liked me... But let's talk about that later.." His voice went silent for a couple heartbeats." There are still things I want to say about that, but right now we are going to get in trouble if any of our senior warriors find us hanging out with Autumnpaw."

He turned to Autumnpaw, " Look, everything is fine... But you really must get going! I'm sorry my clanmates misunderstood your intentions." He dipped his head politely to Autumnpaw, then he walked back towards his own territory. He looked at Nightwing for a couple more heartbeats than he'd like to admit, then he at the other edge and waited for his clanmates to join him.

Crushclaw~

Crushclaw turned to Soulstar. " You are right. After all they came from the direction of the camp, and I don't like the looks of that. I just hope they didn't get to any cat alone." Crushclaw began to quickly trot back to the clan.

Blazetail~

Blazetail continued on his way toward Raven. He saw Raven discover a hole with the stench of foxes seeping out of the hole. "Hey! Raven! Be careful! Let me come with you!" Blazetail nimbly jumped down towards Raven and landed behind her.

Blazetail~

"I hate to say it but the foxes are SwiftClan's problem now. May Starclan help them when the time comes." Blazetail looked to Raven, " Good work. Let's get back and report this to Soulstar." Blazetail jumped back up to ground level and looked at Raven.

Crushclaw~

Crushclaw walked beside Soulstar and said nothing for a while. " Well, I wouldn't be lying if I said that I didn't have feelings for you. After all, you saved me and Blazetail from a lonely journey. You gave us something to belong to, and I appreciate that." Crushclaw hopped over a tree root and landed neatly without breaking pace. "I'd never given any thought to the idea of having a mate. It had just been me and Blaze for the longest. So I'm not sure how to show you how I feel just yet."

Blazetail~

Adventurous little she-cat...... Blazetail chuckled as he met her challenging eyes. He couldn't help but wonder why she got so abrupt suddenly. He figured it was because Crushclaw and his boasting, or maybe it was Soulstar's change of attitude toward Crushclaw. Who knows what she-cats think about. Blazetail sniffed around the fox den as he followed Raven.

Lotuswhisper was holding some moss and feathers when he spotted Winterpaw stalking around the forest. She seemed to be hunting. Lotuswhisper wanted to see if she'd do well or not but decided to stay out of her way.

He padded into camp and headed for the warriors den to make his new nest and then prepare for his virgil as a new warrior of SilentClan.

Strikepaw looked at his clanmates. " Come on guys.... If we are all done here let's hurry and get back to camp before this gets blown out of proportion." Strikepaw fretted. He really didn't want this situation to get out of control and then getting everyone punished for nothing but a misunderstanding.

With Nightwing's fur ruffled and Ivypaw wandering off in a different direction, that left Strikepaw with a confused looking Blackpaw. Strikepaw glanced at Blackpaw awkwardly, " That went well... Eh Blackpaw?"
