New to the site but not to the story. I look forward to roleplaying with every cat here. My roleplaying name maybe be different but I think my username might be good. It has a nice troublemaking sound to it. I haven't really looked into the other books made by Hunter. They seem cool and all but something about these cats just got me going. But I may pick up the survivor series, but I'm still debating on that.

Personality: Quiet, but assertive. Observant and calm. Has a good sense of humor but rarely displays it which can confuse just about any cat. Has a hard time dealing with water, doesn't like to climb trees and can has a weak spot for kits.
Appearance: has a jet black pelt with grey flecks that ride along his body with white paws, and an icy blue gleam in his eyes.

History: Duskwind grew up in Mist clan under the leadership of Polestar. He admired the serious attitude of his leader and how commanding and powerful he looked so he began training hard to one day become a better leader than Polestar. He trained hard and has proven he has excellent tracking skills and sharp instincts.

Not really rivals since Duskwind isn't as old as polestar. He looks up to him but he wants to show other clans that Mist Clan always produce strong capable cats.

Rustlekit laid snug in his nest with his tail wrapped across his nose. Rustlekit was dreaming of being in Mistclan territory and he was stalking a mouse who acted like it had never seen a cat before. It was happily chewing on a berry as Rustlekit stalked up behind it. Too late did the mouse notice as Rustlekit broke its neck with a quick, neat bite. Rustlekit purred triumphantly, "Hmph! Dumb mouse didn't even see it coming." Just as Rustlekit open his jaws to bite into his fresh kill, a sudden earth tremor shook the ground. Rustlekit awoke with a start to realize it was only Silverkit bumbling around in the dark. "Ugh! Silly kits!" He grumbled, "if you're going to train in the dark, learn how to walk first!! Mouse-brain!"
~Duskwind~
Duskwind was fast asleep in the warriors den. He dreamt of the stories he heard from the elders when he was still a 'paw'. He remembered about the heroic tales of the flame colored leader of Thunderclan many many moons ago. He also remembered the story about a cat who left Thunderclan in search of his own destiny. Duskwind had always loved the stories of the heroic and upstanding figures of the warrior code. Then his dream drifted to an image of Polestar back when he was a young warrior whie Duskwind was in the nursery. His mother used to tell Duskwind the steadfast leadership and serious but calm attitude that Polestar potrayed as a warrior. Duskwind's heart skipped a beat as the rush of challenge hit him. He set his sights on outdoing Polestar. Duskwind had always thought that shooting for a level much higher than your own, that you will not notice how far your own ability skyrockets. Duskwind continued to swim through memories as his dream carried him through the night.

HorizonClans territory
The camp is in a well sheltered network of rabbit tunnels made usable by cats over moons and moons of preparation by their warrior ancestors near a cliff that outlooks a vast sea. The burrows reside in a pine forest closer inland and the cliff is to the north of the burrow. Also on the cliff there is a gleaming shinning stone about the size of a bear sitting near the edge of the cliff that gleans in the sunlight and glows at night when the full moon is out. This is where new leaders go to receive their nine lives and share tongues with starclan. This is also where the medicine cats go when it's time for the annual visit to Starclan. Lastly, this is where the clan leader also holds meetings. They sit on a tree stump that is positioned a couple of tail lengths from The Skystone. Further south of the camp there is a sandy hollow where generations of apprentices and warriors have trained. There is a large boulder at the edge of the sandy hollow and a fallen tree along the side of the hollow. To the west of the camp is rich with prey as there is a moderately sized stream that flows down to the sea below the cliff. Across the stream many herbs can be found and is a haven for medicine cat needs, however further west lies an abandoned Twoleg nest that has fallen to pieces. All that remains is a few couple of standing walls and a staircase that leads to no where, but is a good spot to view Silverpelt when hawks eagles and Owls aren't out and about. This part of the territory is dangerous do to the low shelter from airborne enemies. To the east of the territory there is a long path that leads down to a beach that outlooks the sea. This untouched beach is also used for training relaxation, and recreational purposes. This part of the territory offers a variety of prey like seagulls and crabs.

History: Mysticwhisker grew up in HorizonClan along with his littermate Stormfang. He got in less trouble than his brother did simply because he was mature for his age but would shoulder the punishments with his brother because he never would leave his family behind.

Personality: Rash and willing to take action first. Will NOT back down if challenged. Is quite edgy when hungry and has been known to have a scathing tongue when something isn't working out for him. Talks very harshly and is frank with just about everyone regardless of rank age or gender. Has a great deal of respect towards leadership and medicine cats but does not change his tone in the slightest when addressing them. Respects immediate action and doesn't like to waste time or be kept waiting.
Appearance: has a white pelt like his brother but has jet black lightning shaped stripes going across his back with forepaws black and hindpaws white. Also has a dark yellow smoldering gaze with three claw marks on his left eye and part of his right ear is torn from a fight with an eagle.
History: like his brother Mysticwhisker, Stormfang grew up in HorizonClan and had always trained alongside his brother. While his brother showed compassion to his enemies and rivals, Stormfang would try to completely obliterate his opponents. As a 'paw' he'd always shown disrespect to the defeated and would always get punished for it. He holds a great deal of respect and treats his brother differently because whenever he was punished the only one by his side was his brother. They share a close kinship bond every since their father died from defending their mother from a wandering badger. A couple moons later when they were almost made apprentices their mother died of greencough from a harsh leaf-bare. His brother may have him beat in calm decision making but he'd always been the one with the fierce battle instinct and tactics.

Personality: adventurous, spontaneous, hard working. A good team player and usually comes up with good ideas. He hates crabs and doesn't like to get his paws wet for anything but enjoys climbing to high places. Loyal to his clan and doesn't not hide his fear but still stands tall in the face of adversity.
Appearance: has a sunset orange pelt with a bright yellow gaze. He also has a blonde tail tip and blonde colored paws. Has long whiskers.
History: Sparkpaw had just left his mother and the nursery. Those his mother worried about him, Sparkpaw reassured her that he'd be a warrior capable of making his mothers life as easy as possible to where she doesn't even have to worry about anything other than hold cold next years leaf-bare is going to be. Ot is widely believed among his clanmates that Sparkpaw got his undying loyalty and sincere encouragement from his deceased father, Soaringstar

Age: 72 moons

Gender: She-cat
Personality: a kind and endearing cat but also has a strict side to her due to moons of raising Sparkpaw and other kits who's parents could not care for them properly. She hates the rain but doesn't mind getting her paws wet. In her younger days she's been known to always be at the highest points in the territory simply because she enjoys the rush of the wind and the vastness of the sky that holds Silverpelt.
Appearance: has a flame colored pelt with sand colored stripes along her body all the way to her tail. She has the same calming bright yellow gaze as her son Sparkpaw. A once strikingly beautiful she-cat who's grown old with age and wisdom.
History: back in her younger days when was first made into a warrior alongside her best friend Cloudsong(Mysticwhisker and Stormfang's mother) she was quite ambitious. She'd always wanted to become the leader of HorizonClan because she loved her clanmates dearly and wanted nothing more than to lead them into times of peace. It was around that time that she met Soaringstar, who, at the time, was Soaringwave. She'd fallen in love with Soaringwave's endless talent and fortitude. When she had her kits for him he vowed that since she no longer could become leader, since the current leader was looking for a new deputy when she had found out she was expecting, that he would become a powerful and great leader in her stead. She knew at that point that she would love him forever and always. It crushed her heart when he have his ninth life to make sure a group cats could safely travel through the dangerous west part of HorizonClan's territory. With the constant danger from airborne enemies, the newcomers to the clan would not have survived but he redirected an eagle from snatching the traveling cats to the edge of a cliff and got into a tussle with the eagle. The eagle had managed to grip and attempt to carry him off but he dealt a fatal blow to the eagles neck as they went over the cliff making both him and the eagle fall to their untimely deaths in the ragged rocks below the side of the cliff. Mapleshadow remembered him saying that he'd never let any bird beat him an he stayed true to his word up until his final breath. When he died Mapleshadow didn't grieve long. Others thought it was weird but she simply said " I have too much admiration and pride for him to waste time grieving like. Kit. He lived and died as a warrior true to is word an the warrior code. I have no regrets and neither show he."
