Eden nodded, pawing at the small fellow. She gave him a wolfy grin and watched Misa pour the food curiously.
She sniffed the air to catch a scent of it.

Minerva nodded, understanding. Suddenly, guilt hit her like a ton of bricks. Why? She didn't quite understand. But she shrugged it off. Sanity wasn't safe. Sanity caused pain. She looked over at the tree and boulder, deciding on the huge rock and walked over to it. Holding it firmly from the bottom, she proceeded to pick it up with what seemed like ease. She dropped it two seconds later and rested her arm on it. "Pretty much, yep," she answered with a smile.
-
Minerva laughed and walk back over to Crystal. "You'll find your own power soon enough," she encouraged genuinely for the first time in a while."Aren't ya supposed to be looking for others?" She asked with a grin.
-
Minerva grinned and chased after Crystal. But she paused when she heard someone else's voice. She turned around coming across a new face and raised her eyebrows. "Hey Crystal, wait." She turned to her brother, the evil glint returning to her eyes. ' Looks like it's my lucky day', she mouthed to Jester.
Jester clenched his jaw but said nothing and simply turned to the male. He was hesitant in responding until he saw his wings and visibly relaxed. "Hello," he replied.
-
Minerva smiled. "Why I'm simply an eraser looking for some friends. No need to be alarmed. I won't hurt you," she replied, crossing her arms. For now, She added in her head. She saw his defensive stance and turned to Jester. "Jester, if you will?" She grinned.
Jester stood there, not wanting to protect her. But he had no choice. Once Minerva was, in any way shape or form, in danger, he had to defend her. He was 'programmed' that way.
Begrudgingly, he stood in front of her, facing the male and avoiding eye contact.(Haha. Okay.)
-
Minerva raised her eyebrows amused. "Would you look at that, Jester. He lumped us together," she said with a sneer. "As if I'd ever want to be placed in the same category as a bird."
Jester rolled his eyes, relaxing his shoulders when he saw the other male walk away. He stepped away from Minerva with a low growl, aimed at her.
-
Minerva's eyes widen slightly when she saw what the male took out in his hand. She cursed under her breath when the shot went off, attempting to move out of the way. She cringed, cowering away waiting to be hit.
Jester saw what was coming, and although his mind said no, his body ignored it and moved on its own. He extended his wings outward and shot them straight forward to form a shield in front of Minerva. He fell down on his knees in pain as his wings took the hit instead. He bit down on his cheek so hard to keep from crying out, he drew blood. Slowly, Jester brought his wings back in.
-
Minerva pointed at Jester, minimal concern laced in her voice, "he's hurt. There was another mutant, like you, a non - eraser and shot at me. I think he thought we were all erasers."
After some pain subsided, Jester reached out to inspect his wings. They were hurt pretty badly. He stood up and attempted to flap them but stopped when he saw he wasn't being lifted off the ground.
-
Minerva shrugged. "I'm not really worried about him to be honest. He's always getting hurt. He'll live."
Jester glared at her with pure hatred in his eyes. "I should've let him kill you, " he said, malice laced in his tone. Minerva flipped him off. He stopped glaring when he saw Crystal come near and smiled at her. "I'll be fine. It just needs to heal." He touched the wounded area.
-
Minerva fell back, holding her now bleeding shoulder. "He f - freaking shot at me again!" she hissed in pain. She was getting angry.
Jester reached out to Minerva, holding her down by the leg. "Let me inspect the wound." He didn't want to. In fact, he didn't care. But when they were smaller, a 'chip' was installed into Jester. He was slightly programmed to protect Minerva no matter what. So their "bond as brother and sister" never fades. What a load of crap. He hated her as much as she did him.
He looked at Crystal for help but Minerva kicked Jester's hand and clumsily took off, awkwardly flapping her wings and flying in the direction the bullet came from. -
Jackson looked up thoughtfully for a moment. "I guess I'll go have breakfast," he responded. He looked down at his watch, "there's still some time." He looked back up at Dane. "What about you?"
OOC: it's fine, haha. No need to apologize. I understand. School's been pretty hectic.
-
Minerva landed on the nearest roof and sat down. She moved her shirt slightly to the side, exposing her wounded shoulder. She carefully reached into the small hole the bullet made in her shoulder and attempted to pull it out, crying out in the process. She stared at it confused, being that she's never seen anything like it.
Jester watched as Crystal took off, hoping that she'll be able to do something. Although he didn't know her, he had confidence in her and trusted her completely. She seemed like a nice girl.
He relaxed his wings, letting them drop. He'll follow in a moment. -
Minerva smiled at Crystal, guilt seeping into her pores again. Why did she hate mutants? Because they always treated her terribly all because she was an eraser. Even her brother. But that was her own fault. She always shoved him aside and tortured him for her own amusement. But Crystal was kind. Minerva liked that. It was a refreshing change of pace. "I think I'll survive. I just need something to stop the bleeding." "And I'd really like that mutant roasted on a stick, " she added under her breath.
Jester followed after a minute or two, trying his hardest to get up on the roof. But his wings weren't working. He gave up, tucking them under his sweater and just walked up the stairs.
-
Minerva grinned gratefully at Crystal. "Thank you very much. These are just fine." She dry swallowed three of the pain killers and ripped open two bandages, using one to clean around the wound. She put some of the cream on carefully and tried her best to wrap the second bandage around her shoulder.
Jester approached them quietly, sitting down. He raised his eyebrows at how genuinely nice Minerva was being. He was surprised.
-
Minerva scanned the area, trying to pinpoint any obvious places the male would have gone into. But what was the use. The city was pretty big. She'll just have to go search every store herself.
"Thank you," Jester said with a smile. The pain had disappeared fully from his wings. "It was another mutant. Or so I think considering he shot at Minera when she told him she was an eraser, " he replied.
-
Jackson nodded at Dane, "alright. See ya. He headed over to the cafeteria for some breakfast. He picked his seat and set his things down, getting online to grab his breakfast.
OOC: The welcome back to school meeting is over. The students have an hour to do whatever they want to before classes begin.
-
Minerva's blood boiled as she tried to keep herself under control. But if she had to be honest, control was out of the question. Before she could move, Jester yanked her back, forcing her to sit on the opposite side of him. He said nothing to the other mutant and simply stood quiet.
-
Minerva smiled. "Actually, I do. If you don't mind," she said, extending her arms, "can you give me one? I'll try not to hurt you." She flashed a wolfy grin.
Jester shot her a look, warning her to keep quiet. But clearly, she ignored it.
-
Minerva didn't even flinch when the male took out his gun. She cocked her head to the side and simply smiled, crossing her arms. "I have to admit, getting shot hurt. But I'm not particularly worried right now." Her gaze fell on Jester.
The moment the gun came out, Jester's wings popped out, shielding Minerva in less than a second. He's been doing this a lot today. It was not only getting exhausting but on his nerves as well. He got up, standing in front of his sister.
-
Minerva raised an eyebrow. "Boring? I've been called many things. But never boring." She grinned. "That's new." Just as she was about to chase after the male, she stopped when she saw Crystal had tackled him instead. "Looks like she has things handled. Say Jester, aren't ya scared Crystal will get hurt? You know, since you worry about everything and everyone."
Jester looked over the roof. "No. He doesn't intent to hurt her; only tease her. He's having fun. It's us he's weary of." He put his wings away as Minerva pursed her lips. "Hm... very perceptive. You know, if it hadn't been for you, he could have easily been lying on the ground, guts splattered everywhere. I really hate that chip. Com'on Jester, let me take it out," she grinned, showing him her sharp nails while she kept one eye on what was going on down below.
