He'd never really liked angels, or anyone or anything associated with them. Whether it was good or bad intent, he despised them. Then again, he wasn't suppose to. It was hard to remind himself that he'd once been one, but that was a long, long time ago. Too long to matter. It was a sensitive topic anyway, and one he didn't particularly want to think about.
On the topic of angels though, as previously mentioned, he hated them. Loathed them. Despised ever fiber and cell of their being. He was a demon though, and that tended to explain a lot. However, there was one particular angel he could tolerate. One he actually liked-- loved even. It was an odd concept coming from a being who brought nothing but hate and terror. And yet Orian found his world completely flipped by the presence of one angel. It wasn't fair, really it wasn't. He didn't mean to fall so hard for someone who was supposed have nothing to do with him-- who shouldn't have wanted to have anything to do with-- but he had, and quite honestly, the demon wouldn't have had it any other way.
It was a calm day, one accompanied with a gentle breeze and a cloudy sky. It was almost so perfect that it flat out pissed Orian off. Then again, he should've been happy. He could see him today. It was a privilege, not a right. He should've been more grateful, and in a sense, he was. Now if only the other could pick up the pace. Time was of the essence, and something they didn't have a lot of. Again, he knew it wasn't right, but he could feel his patience slowly deteriorating. At least, it had been.
He heard Josiah before he saw him, and he had barely lifted his gaze off the ground before he noticed a figure diving at him. He stood still, watching the other with a keen pair of burgundy hued eyes, soaking in every little movement the angel made before opening his wings and practically floating down to him. Damn. He really was the epitome of perfection, wasn't he? Orian took no time in wrapping his arms around the other male, a soft sigh falling from his pale lips. "Took ya' long enough," he murmured, although his statement was lighthearted. He really didn't want to talk. All the demon really wanted to do was enjoy the silence and Josiah's presense so the only thing he bothered saying in accordance to the other's final statement was "I know."
