[fancypost borderwidth=0px; font-family: verdana; font-size: 8pt; text-align: justify;]Tetsuro nodded, examining the latter with a keen eye like he was suspicious of it. The entire area seemed pretty quiet, but he couldn't help but feel uneasy. Almost everything made the blond uneasy these days, but that was aside from the point. The point was he needed to start climbing. He placed one hand on the latter, giving it a firm tug for safety measures before beginning to climb after Nori, just as cautious as before.

Honestly, Tetsuro liked the idea of having some company. He could've done fine by his own and one would've assumed that was what he preferred considering his distant nature, but actually, he really enjoyed being around other people. Simply being in the presence of someone else, especially in this situation, made him feel a little better. About what he didn't know, but it still eased his stressed and overwhelmed mind. When he reached the top, he slowly took hold of the other's extended hand, murmuring his thanks before pulling himself up and onto solid ground-- well, floor.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; font-family: verdana; font-size: 8pt; text-align: justify;]Tetsuro allowed his blue gaze to wonder, soaking in every small detail he could. It seemed pretty safe, or at least to say he was sure they were the only occupants within the building. He slowly moved, holding a hand out in front of him before touching the nearest wall and pressing against it. He leaned his back against the surface before sitting down, resting his head against it.

He wanted to sleep. That's all he wanted, but he immediately snapped out of his drowsy state when Nori asked if he was hungry. Given, he wasn't starving, but he could eat. It'd probably be a lot easier to rest with a slightly fuller stomach anyway. He caught the bag with ease when it was tossed to him, reaching inside blindly to grab what appeared to be a small package of... trail mix? That's what it looked like anyway. Whatever it was, he wasn't complaining. He'd eat it. Now wasn't the time to be picky. "Thanks again." he then closed the other's bag before casually pitching the bag back to Nori.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; font-family: verdana; font-size: 8pt; text-align: justify;]Tetsuro easily tore the package open, picking and eating away at its contents in silence. It was kind of nice, the presence of someone else, that is. Maybe it made him feel safer? No, that wasn't it, but it was something like that. Shaking the thoughts away, he focused more on how much colder it was getting. It was night after all, and the day had been chilly as is. Lovely. However, he did have a pretty thick fleece blanket in his bag. He guessed he could just use that if it got terribly cold.

He sighed, tugging his cargo jacket closer to his form and finishing off the remainder of the trail mix before tossing the empty package elsewhere. Tetsuro was close to nodding off, practically half-asleep, but of course, he listened when Nori spoke again. A frown curved the edges of the young man's lips at the other's words. He really wasn't sure if there was anything he could do to bring him any solace, but he could at least try. "I won't let anything happen to you," Nori was the closest thing he had to a friend right now. The least he could do was watch out for him. "Um, how about you come over here? You can sleep next to me. Maybe that will help." It sounded like a decent idea. Physical comfort consoled most people, right? Honestly, Tetsuro was really trying his best to be as considerate as possible, even if he really didn't think he was doing the best job.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; font-family: verdana; font-size: 8pt; text-align: justify;]Tetsuro nodded, shifting slightly into a more comfortable position when Nori pressed against his side. Given, the blond didn't trust easily or at all really, but he honesty felt some kind of need to make sure the other male stated out of harm's way. It was probably just his nature. Nori appeared to be troubled, and Tetsuro's immediate and natural instinct was to fix that problem. He actually wanted to help the other though, he really did.

"It's fine, really. I can understand why you acted the way you did," the taller male murmured, leaning his head back against the wall. "Just... try to get some sleep. I think you might need it." he urged, somewhat eased by the fact Nori was so close to him. Tetsuro honestly wasn't a very touchy-feely person, but it eased his already overwhelmed mind to have someone else next to him like the other was. Why he wasn't exactly sure, but it did.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; font-family: verdana; font-size: 8pt; text-align: justify;]Tetsuro was asleep. Dead asleep. Even when Nori's presence left, his mind continued in a state that wasn't exactly at rest, but at the same time wasn't sentient. Just the cons of being a heavy sleeper. When he felt something-- well, someone gently shake him and a now vaguely familiar voice tell him to wake up, the blond groaned, his pale blue eyes refusing the open. No, it was too early. A few more minutes that's all he needed.

In spite of his mind's inner protests, he eventually open his eyes, a hazy look clouding his eyes as he glanced up at Nori. Tetsuro didn't bother to say anything and only stretched his arms and then his legs, a drowsy yawn breaking past his thin lips. "How early is it?" he asked, his voice heavy and rough with sleep. Guessing by how the room wasn't even lit with morning sunlight yet, he assumed that the sun hadn't even rose yet or at least not all the way.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; font-family: verdana; font-size: 8pt; text-align: justify;]Tetsuro sighed when Nori gave him an assumed time, his shoulders slumping. Wow, it was early. Too early for him, but he guessed if they were to do anything then it was probably best to do it now opposed to later. Walkers wouldn't be as active as they were at night, and they'd have a better chance of getting done what needed to get done.

"I don't think I have anywhere to go," Tetsuro murmured, closing his eyes for a brief moment. Then he happened to remember something. "Actually, I might have just lied," he amended, running a hand through his messy blond hair. "There's a plaza not too far from bere, maybe a few blocks at most. That's where I was trying to go last night until I met you," he explained before feeling the need to clarify. "There's a few stores there that I believe might benefit us if they of course haven't been looted clean." They needed supplies desperately, and that was the nearest place that came to mind. Considering he was no longer looking out for solely himself, Tetsuro felt like collecting as much as they could now was necessary. Otherwise, who knows when they'd get another chance.

    [hr]

He'd never really liked angels, or anyone or anything associated with them. Whether it was good or bad intent, he despised them. Then again, he wasn't suppose to. It was hard to remind himself that he'd once been one, but that was a long, long time ago. Too long to matter. It was a sensitive topic anyway, and one he didn't particularly want to think about.

On the topic of angels though, as previously mentioned, he hated them. Loathed them. Despised ever fiber and cell of their being. He was a demon though, and that tended to explain a lot. However, there was one particular angel he could tolerate. One he actually liked-- loved even. It was an odd concept coming from a being who brought nothing but hate and terror. And yet Orian found his world completely flipped by the presence of one angel. It wasn't fair, really it wasn't. He didn't mean to fall so hard for someone who was supposed have nothing to do with him-- who shouldn't have wanted to have anything to do with-- but he had, and quite honestly, the demon wouldn't have had it any other way.

It was a calm day, one accompanied with a gentle breeze and a cloudy sky. It was almost so perfect that it flat out pissed Orian off. Then again, he should've been happy. He could see him today. It was a privilege, not a right. He should've been more grateful, and in a sense, he was. Now if only the other could pick up the pace. Time was of the essence, and something they didn't have a lot of. Again, he knew it wasn't right, but he could feel his patience slowly deteriorating. At least, it had been.

He heard Josiah before he saw him, and he had barely lifted his gaze off the ground before he noticed a figure diving at him. He stood still, watching the other with a keen pair of burgundy hued eyes, soaking in every little movement the angel made before opening his wings and practically floating down to him. Damn. He really was the epitome of perfection, wasn't he? Orian took no time in wrapping his arms around the other male, a soft sigh falling from his pale lips. "Took ya' long enough," he murmured, although his statement was lighthearted. He really didn't want to talk. All the demon really wanted to do was enjoy the silence and Josiah's presense so the only thing he bothered saying in accordance to the other's final statement was "I know."

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; font-family: verdana; font-size: 8pt; text-align: justify;]Tetsuro took the hand that was offered to him, nodding in appreciation before smiling weakly at Nori's apology for calling him Tetsu. It's not like it bothered him. That's what most of his friends had called him before... well, everything had happened so it wasn't really a big deal. "You don't have to apologize," he chastised gently. "You can call me Tetsu if you want, I really don't mind." With that said, he reached for his bag.

He slung the satchel over his shoulder, reaching back to make sure it was secure but within reach. He might need to use it later, he didn't know. Hopefully, he wouldn't, but Tetsuro figured that was thinking unrealistically. After some more stretching, he then glanced over at Nori before stepping closer to the latter. "You ready?" he asked, arching an eyebrow in question.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; font-family: verdana; font-size: 8pt; text-align: justify;]Tetsuro followed the other down the latter, taking each step with caution. The last thing he wanted to do was fall, considering how high up they were. He swallowed, beginning to think over what they were about to do. Hopefully, they'd get this over with as soon as possible and preferably get something out of it. Meds, clothes, food-- anything would've made up for them having put their safety out on the line like they were.

When the blond reached the bottom of the latter, he trailed in front of Nori, his steps evenly placed and quiet. Tetsuro knew the city like the back of his hand, considering he'd lived there his entire life. At least getting to the plaza wouldn't be too difficult. He then started to move, his movements haste yet graceful, like he calculated every step before taking it. He was tryng to be careful. One wrong move, and they might have been as good as dead.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; font-family: verdana; font-size: 8pt; text-align: justify;]Tetsuro's caution was obvious, down to the way his eyes constantly flicked in all different directions to the way he moved. Confrontation, whether it be with walkers or other humans, wasn't something he wanted and would have preferred to keep to a minimum. They didn't need trouble, and Tetsuro would've preferred to stay away from it. That wasn't to say he wouldn't gladly kick anything or anyone's ass who threatened, mostly because he was concerned for not only his but Nori's sake at this point, but he would've rather kept the peace. So far, everything was going along just fine. He wanted it to stay that way.

They reached the plaza faster than he'd expected, but like he'd said earlier, it was only a few blocks away. Good. Everything was flowing together nicely. Tetsuro had high hopes that this outing would be successful. It all depended on them though. He glanced around, looking at the multiple shops from his stand point. Most had broken windows and busted doors, but they didn't look completely empty. Okay, that was good enough, he supposed. Tetsuro then cleared his throat before turning around to look at Nori with focused blue optics. "Alright, since this place is relatively small and closed off, I don't think it will be necessary for us to be joined at the hip the entire time we're here. As long as we stay within earshot of each other, I believe we'll be fine." he explained, his words smooth and gentle as he spoke.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; font-family: verdana; font-size: 8pt; text-align: justify;]Tetsuro watched the other trail off towards the grocery store before sliding his bag off his shoulder and reaching inside, grabbing the screwdriver he'd stashed before shoving it in his jacket pocket. Turns out the small tool did wonders when it came to gouging and stabbing. He then took his machete off the bag before picking the satchel back up to carry it, using his free hand to carry the rather menacing looking blade. After taking one more glance around, the blond decided to take a look inside the drug store first.

He stepped inside the store with caution, holding his primary weapon close to his side as he prepared to slice anything or anyone that got in his way. Fortunately, the store appeared to be empty and most of the shelves were still in tact and held merchandise. He sighed in relief, trailing through the multiple medications and took whatever appeared to be useful. He primarily aimed to grab as many fever and pain relievers as possible, along with some sleep aids. He also managed to snag some rubbing alcohol and bandages, and all so easily to. Tetsuro then began to pack his bag, organizing it with all of his new supplies so he would have room to add more items later on.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; font-family: verdana; font-size: 8pt; text-align: justify;]Tetsuro closed his bag, securing it before once again throwing it over his shoulder. It was a tad bit heavier than before, and the sound of pills rattling in their containers could be heard with every step he took, but it wasn't anything too terribly noticeable. He could handle it at least. Time to move in. He moved towards the entrance of the store, stepping back outside only to immediately decide that the general store next door was his next stop.

The store was, as he expected, picked over but still had enough supplies for him to take. He went for the clothes first, coasting over the variety of items and grabbing whatever fit and appealed to him. It was only going to get colder, and he'd probably need some better apparel. He then went to the food, picking out anything canned that looked decent as well as a few bottles of water and a chocolate bar (he didn't necessarily have a sweet tooth, but it sounded pretty good so why not just grab it, especially if it was there for the taking?). By the time he'd stuffed everything in his bag, it was bulging. Alright, that did it for him. At least until he spotted the candy.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; font-family: verdana; font-size: 8pt; text-align: justify;]Orian held the angel close, not willing to let him go anytime soon. Call him crazy, but it felt right to have the other in his arms even if what they were technically doing was considered wrong or at least for Josiah. He himself could get away with this. He was a demon, and he could practically do whatever the hell he wanted. He didn't have rules. All that was expected of him was to wreak havoc, and Orian did his job very well. He guessed the only exception to what he did was Josiah. If anything, the angel brought out what little good he had left in him, and he supposed that was a good thing.

The silence was nice, what with how easy it was. It was calm. Calm wasn't exactly the way to describe most things in Orian's day to day basis, but he was fine with it now. More than fine with it really. It gave a clear reminder of what he was doing and who he was with. He sighed, pressing a kiss to the other's hairline before murmuring a single statement. "I missed you," If only they could've been like this all the time. That was unrealistic though. Orian was a demon. He was damned, corrupted, tainted. Josiah was his exact opposite. Them being together anytime they pleased without the fear of being caught was unimaginable.

He really didn't know what he saw in the angel, and it was safe to say he hadn't been quick to like him either. He'd fallen in love with pieces of Josiah over time, not him as a whole all together. The other grew on him, to the point of where he was actually attached albeit he hated himself for ever coming near him in the first place in the first place, but not for the reason you might've thought. Orian ran the risk of possibly getting Josiah into some major trouble if any of the higher heavenly officials found out-- if anyone found it. There was a good chance the demon wouldn't have been able to forgive himself if that happened.

Orian pulled away from the other after a few more moments passed by, keeping his hands on his waist for a second or so after before letting them drop. It's not like he kept away from Josiah for too long though. No, normally during their meetings, he had a hard time keeping his hands to himself. Now was no different. He lifted a hand, gingerly cupping the side of the other's face before brushing his thumb over his cheekbone, right under his eye. Admittedly, the angel was actually really... pretty. Extremely even. That wasn't something to concern himself about though. Small talk was important right now. "So, how is everything?" he questioned, arching an eyebrow. "In heaven, that is."

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; font-family: verdana; font-size: 8pt; text-align: justify;]By now, Tetsuro had stepped back outside. Okay, time to find Nori, and then they could leave. "Nori?" his voice was calm, loud enough to be heard and carried, but he definitely didn't yell. However, when he received no aswer, that put the blond on egde. He repeated himself. No answer. Sh!t.

The blond was rushing to the grocery store before he knew it. He had to be here, right? Surely, he wouldn't up and leave the plaza, he had no reason to. Thoughts swirled in the young man's mind as clutched his machete, holding it as his side as if he was ready to swing at any given moment. Quite frankly, he was. He licked dry lips, attempting to think fast although he was failing miserably. Fortunately, he heard the other before he found him, and that sent Tetsuro rushing. Of course, when he came across Nori and the walker, it's pretty easy to guess what his first instinct was. So, with that thought in mind, he rushed over, brought up his blade and swung it straight into the creature's neck with about as much force as he could possibly muster.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; font-family: verdana; font-size: 8pt; text-align: justify;]Tetsuro pulled his machete back, frown in dismay at the blood. No matter how much of it he saw, it always made his stomach do somersaults. Gross. When Nori stood, his frown deepened, and he immediately began to look over the smaller male. "You're okay, aren't you? It didn't bite, you did it?" he asked frantically, concern lacing his voice although he stopped talking on the spot when the other hugged him. Tetsuro blinked, standing absolutely still before cautiously looping an arm around him in return.

When Nori pulled back from him, he nodded, swallowing dryly. "Yeah, yeah... you're right, we should probably leave." Honestly, that's the only thing Tetsuro wanted to do. Oh well. At least neither of them were hurt. That was something to be grateful for. Now they just had to make it back without meeting anymore trouble. Quite frankly, they had a lot of good supplies on them, and he found himself more worried about meeting a group of humans compared to a group of walkers. If they were outnumbered, they really didn't have much of a chance. That was thinking negatively though and not something he should've been fretting over. Tetsuro then sighed once more, shaking his head before leading the way out of the store.

    [mobile. sorry for any typos.[b]]

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; font-family: verdana; font-size: 8pt; text-align: justify;]"I'm sure you'll survive," Orian laughed faintly, the ghost of a smile dusting his lips although it was mostly shown through his eyes. He watched Josiah carefully as the angel took his hand, his expression softening. It was kind of hard to hold up the big, bad demon impression in front of the other, even if he didn't necessarily have to. He didn't want to be perceived a weak or as a pushover. That would've been bad for him personally, but he actually felt alright with loosening around Josiah, revealing a side of his personality that he was sure only the other had seen.

Being a demon wasn't hard. It was surprisingly easier than being an angel. He didn't have guidelines. He didn't have to be pristine. He didn't have to do anything. Given, he was eternally damned, but Orian could easily overlook that, surprisingly enough. Honestly, he wasn't even sure how he'd gotten to be angel when he first died in the first place. It was odd.

Orian's death had been a bitter one, and it was still an open wound for the demon; a sensitive subject he discussed rarely. He'd died around the age of seventeen, far too young, really. Shot in the back so a thief could steal his wallet. He hadn't even had any money on him. It, if anything, infuriated him. He'd died with anger, not peace, and it didn't take long for Orian to fall from heaven after that. He'd never been a good person. He might've had good intentions, but he was ultimately a hateful, malevolent soul who was surrounded by nothing but self-loathing and regret. It was easier to hate others when you hated yourself, but that wasn't something he liked to talk about as previously mentioned.

A sigh erupted from his lungs as he cleared his clouded mind, shaking away anymore negative thoughts. Not something to think about. Not now. He then glanced down at Josiah, meeting peculiar, bright blue eyes with his own set of rusty maroon ones-- they almost appeared dark brown, really-- before leaning forward, shifting down a little in the process considering he was good deal taller than the angel before closing the distance between their lips. He stayed like that if not for a moment, eventually pulling back with another exhale, his eyes falling to the ground as he pressed his forehead against the angel's. "I just... really wish we could stay like this." he stressed, closing his eyes for a brief moment.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; font-family: verdana; font-size: 8pt; text-align: justify;]Tetsuro was quick, considering he wanted to get back to what was basically their home for the being as soon as possible. He was silent the entire trek back, his eyes staring blankly ahead although he did look back every so often to check on Nori as if the other would just disappear into thin air all of the sudden. He couldn't help it, seeing as Nori was really the only thing he had right now-- the only thing that matter. He would've been crushed if anything happened to him.

Tetsuro allowed the smaller male to go up the latter first when they arrived, trailing after him when he was about halfway up although he did take a few moments to look around for any strange activity or oddities. Maybe he shouldn't have taken his time because by the time he heard Nori cry out, he was only about a quarter of the way up, but he definitely hauled ass to get up their after hearing the other in what he assumed was distress. His assumptions were confirmed when he reached the floor. He heaved himself up briskly, tossing his bag aside before hissing out a threat. "Get your filthy f*cking paws off of him before I rip your brain out your goddamn nose!"

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; font-family: verdana; font-size: 8pt; text-align: justify;][fancypost borderwidth=0px; font-family: verdana; font-size: 8pt; text-align: justify;]Tetsuro was obviously infuriated. The young man's hands were clenched so tightly into fist that his knuckles were ghostly white, and he was about as stiff as a board. This guy, whoever he was, wasn't right, he could see that. He was alsp quick to assume that remorse wasn't something he would've felt, and he had Nori so close to him. It made Tetsuro sick, causing his stomach to do flips.

The blond listened to man, wetting his dry lips hastily as he tried to think of the best way to handle the situation. That was about the time he pulled out a knife, a small blade that still could have easily done damage at close range, and Tetsuro swore his heart stopped beating for a moment when he pressed it to Nori's. Sighing, he pinched the bridge of his nose and attempted to calm himself. He needed to be rational here. He had to be. "What do you want?" The words felt like razors as they slipped off his tongue.
