[font=georgia]I don't particularly have a favourite, because I can develop interesting characters in both. At some stage, my favourite character was my devout pro-Clan character and before that, it was my devout anti-Clan character. So I really don't have a preference for pro or anti clans, more so the characters within each section.

    " HERONSTAR "

    [size=8]Info About Me
    Username: Stormfoot
    Display name: ( indigo )
    Position Applying for: Leader
    Clan Applying for: RiverClan

    Info About Character:
    Name: Heronflight - Heronstar
    Gender: Male
    Appearance:
When looking at this tomcat's appearance it's not difficult to see how he received his name. Heronstar's frame is almost elegant for a male, not big or buff or masculine. Of course, he can fight, but he's not exactly one for brute force. No, his build is very tall and narrow, with long legs and a skinny anatomy- though do not doubt that it is lined with muscle underneath from moons of fighting and swimming and training. But because of his lanky physique, not only is he a fast runner, but a graceful swimmer.

His fur itself is a mix of pastel grays and muddy browns- similar to the shades that coat a heron's wings. Slighty darker stripes are layered on top, though unlike other tabbies they are very subtle, just barely tracing through his pelt. White is splattered across his chest and neck, and creating a trail of alabaster down to his underbelly and just reaching his legs. To top it all off, Heronstar possesses pale green eyes, flecked with veins of luminous amber.
    Personality:
What Heronstar lacks in strength, his makes up for in stamina. He is, above all, a tactician and a diplomat. The tabby always likes to be organized and have a set schedule or plan, which is why clan life appeals to him so much. He tends to be more of a listener, and is in no way overly-talkative. But when he does talk, it is recommended that you listen, as Heronstar tends to speak very wisely.

Heronstar is a sucker for tradition, and will not be swayed from the warrior code, no matter the circumstances. He is very strict in this, and has little tolerance for those who try to stray from the code, even if they do so with good intentions. The tabby does not like change, and stays true to the ways of StarClan, being the very religious type.

The tomcat also has a very commanding aurora about him- even if it tends to be a bit more quiet, it demands respect from his clanmates. Heron is a very calm cat, but there's an almost authoritative and logical feel to him. He is definitely someone you can approach and talk to, but he also had no issues with handing out orders- even if he's far from bossy.
    History:
In all honestly, Heron is one of the very most average cats, as far as history goes. But perhaps that is why his clanmates chose to trust him- because he is positively one of the most normal cats you will meet. He was born as an only child to a loving mother- his father having died not long before he was born. But this did not seem to faze young Heronkit, she had a fairly normal kithood, besides maybe sneaking out of camp once or twice.

Six moons later, now dubbed Heronpaw, he worked hard as an apprentice. Like so many others his age, the tomcat had the almost clichéd desire to hold a position of power when he grew older, though the patient tabby was willing to work his way there slowly. Heronpaw soon earned his warrior name, Heronflight, and only two moons after, he was rewarded with his own apprentice.

But it was merely four moons after that point when the current deputy was killed in battle, and the leader named Heronflight the new second in command in their place. Honored, he continued to work harder than ever, but soon enough, greencough would sweep through the clans, taking all of the leader's remaining lives and leaving the newly-named Heronstar to step up in his place.
    Response to post:
Three foxes? Brilliant, just what RiverClan needed after the whole greencough incident. Keeping these sarcastic thoughts to himself, the leader gave a sigh, brow furrowing as if trying to think. "Firstly, you are going to go the medicine cat and get that wound fixed up." Heronstar gave no room for argument as he continued, "I'll be sending a patrol to draw the mother fox away and chase her off, and then hopefully we can send another group to take care of the cubs afterwards." At this point the tabby seemed to mainly speaking to himself as he stood, beginning to stride out of the den. "I'll go and announce this to the clan. Oh-" Heronstar suddenly halted, turning back to the warrior and offering a nod, "And thank you for alerting me of this." With that, the tomcat whirled around once more and padded towards the meeting spot.
