Padding off to what Flame thought was the back door, he searched for levers. Wait. I heard something... Like, panting? Flame whipped around to find a Vampire Nyari following him. Flame unsheathed his claws and bared his teeth. The nyari bared it's teeth too and lunged for Flame's neck.

Flame dodged at the last second and heard the vampires mouth snap close to his ear. The vampire clawed at Flame's eye but somehow missed. That was too close for comfort! I need to get away quick! Flame clawed at the vampires muzzle and hit. Surprised, Flame dug his claws in, tearing at the vampires fur. "OW!" it shrieked. "Stop it!" Shocked that it could talk he stopped.
37/60 -
"Y-you can t-talk?" Flame gaped. Well, duh, it was a cat too.
"Uh, yeah! My name is Night. Yours?" Night licked a paw and started to clean her muzzle.
"It's Flame. Why did you attack me if you would just start washing?" Flame narrowed his eyes. This was a strange vampire, didn't they suck all your blood out until you looked like a raisin?

"Target practice." she mewed simply, tugging at a tangled piece of fur. She was a pretty she-cat, all black except for the tip of her tail and her ears which were a dark red. Flame sighed, "Do you ever say more than a couple words each sentence?"
"Do you ever stop talking, Flame?" she countered. She's good....
39/60 -
Hmm, I could ask her... "Hey, Night?" Flame started watching her fix her whiskers, they had gotten bent a little in the fight.
"Speaking." she was staring cross-eyed at her nose.
"Do you know a way out of here?"
"Yep." Night mewed, finally fixing her whiskers.
40/60 -
Mmm, Back from supper.

-
Flame's jaw dropped and his heart was racing, "You know the way out! Can you show me? Or, could you tell me how to get the bridge open again?"
"Maaaybe." Night said, rubbing an eye. "For a price, anything I choose, I'll show you how to get the bridge opened."
"Deal!" Flame replied. Night looked up quickly and hissed, "You don't know what you're promising yet!"
41/60 -
(I am going to start making the posts smaller.)
"Does it matter?" Flame asked. Night had started to walk slowly towards him, "You have to kill me, let me leave this cursed place and join my family!"
42/60 -
"What?! I don't want to kill you!" Flame mewed in alarm.
"Too bad, guess you are going to die. Just like that white she-cat I killed." Night hissed and unsheathed her claws.
"You..." breathed Flame. Night smiled, no, more like an evil grin. "Yes, Flame. I was the one who killed her."
43/60 -
"HOW COULD YOU?!" Flame yowled. Night froze, "How could I? It was easy, kind of like this." Night lunged for his throat once again and somehow missed. Flame swiped his claws at her shoulder and heard her yowl in pain. She clawed his ear and he felt it rip as he shoved her away.
44/60 -
Night aimed for his muzzle and started to claw at it, making Flame taste blood. Flame tackled her to the ground and tore at Night's belly, fur flew off as she shrieked with pain. "Give up yet?"
Glaring at Flame she hissed, "Never, mouse turd. I'd still rather die."
45/60 -
"That can be arranged, furball." Flame bit her tail, chomping down hard. "OUCH!!" Night shrieked, trying to claw Flame but failing.
"Fine, I'll take you to the levers...Or was it one lever?" Night sighed. "I just wanted a little fun." Flame let Night get up and followed her down a hall.
46/60 -
"Why did you kill her?" Flame questioned Night.
"I had no choice, she was going to warn you. I like being a silent killer, not having my prey hid from me. It just worked better this way." Night answer over her shoulder. There was a door at the end of the hall.
47/60 -
"Here is the door, behind it is a lever to open the bridge." Night told Flame. "Will you kill me after you pull the lever?"
Flame sighed, I can't get out of this..."Yes...I'll try..."
48/60 -
Flame jumped up and pulled the handle down, opening the door. He looked inside and saw that Night was right. There was a lever.
49/60 -
Flame jumped up once again and hit the lever. A loud clincking sound could be heard far away and then a loud BOOM. It sounds like the bridge was opened. Howling started, getting louder every minute.

Flame gasped, he had forgotten about the wolves. Oh, no... Wait, this could work in my favor. I don't have to kill Night. The wolves can! "Night! You hear that?" Night nodded. "Those are wolves, Night. The can kill you so you can go to your dead family, so I won't have to!"
51/60 -
"Hmpf, sounds good to me." Night mewed. Her eyes got misty, "I'll see them again, soon."
"I have one more job for you, hold them off while I escape." Flame whispered to Night.
"Sounds good, shall we go?"
52/60 -
"Wait, I want to say my goodbyes to my sister." Flame mewed and Night lead him to the spot where she died. 'Goodbye, Snow. I'll tell our mom you died, help me live with the guilt of taking you here to die. I'll see you again one day, goodbye Snow...'
53/60 -
Night helped Flame drag Snow's body into a room and shut the door. They were now ready for the plan of escape and death. Night would run out in front of the wolves and lead them away so Flame could run away from the castle.
