    The foxlike wild dog passed just over the edge of the Nox's territorial lines, venturing further and further into the dense forest with each step he took. Rhys had heard tales of a group creatures that was dominated by canids such as hisself. The idea greatly intrigued the young male, who had promptly backed his metaphorical bags and left the clan of dholes that he had been born into. He had traveled quite some distance before coming to the place where, he hoped, the group had situated.

    Rhys stopped in his tracks as Slientacorn approached him, his wide head tilted curiously as she spoke. When she was done, a smile of polite coolness slipped upon his maw. "Greetings to you as well." His voice was smooth and elegant. "My name is Rhys, and I am looking for a clan I heard was settled in this area."

    The dhole's head dipped slightly in acknowledgement of Rimshot's words, as though he were somewhat embarrassed. He spoke then, each word as crisp as fall leaves underfoot, and said, "Ah, that is my mistake. 'Clan' is simply the preferred word used where I come from to describe any sizable group of creatures. Still though, I would be most grateful if could inform me of this pack of yours. The Nox, you said it was?" He was hungry to know more about the place he had traveled to far to get to.

    "That sounds wonderful!" He exclaimed, another smile breaking out upon his face, though it was not nearly as reserved as the last one had been. He had always been a social creature, and it sounded to him like the Nox would be a good fit for him. "I am quite intrigued to hear more..."
