The fates mocking her about the untimely deaths of her family. But then, the most startling thing happened- she heard a song.
There was a radio on somewhere in her shop. And it seemed to speak to her.
"Say what you want to say, and let the words fall out. Honestly, I want to see you be brave!" Bravery. Bravery wasn't going into battle blindly, or taking a bullet for someone. Bravery was when you kept going when you'd rather end it. The wise words of her sister, Blossom, rang in her head. "Suicide does not keep things from getting worse, it prevents them from ever getting better." How right she was, how true it was. She could not change the losses her family had suffered, or her dad's personality and alcoholism. But she could change her attitude and outlook on life. She could try to make TidalClan a more welcoming, cheerful place. She shifted out of the black raven body and back into the silver feline she was born in and dragged out a box of decorations to the gigantic, real tree that somehow appeared in the center of the mall. She began placing brightly shaded ornaments onto the tree, shoving presents for people under the tree. A large striped package was for Rubberpaw, a small, rectangular package for Magnum. Everyone received gifts from her that she had found and wrapped in her store. It was Christmas, and everyone needed muse-boosting.
