[justify]palette is a tall, long-furred canine with long legs and a brush-like tail. he has a strong build but he's more lean than muscular; lean and with graceful steps. he has bright purple eyes with a slight glow to them. he has a purple tongue and pink-ish saliva and tears.

[justify]palette is very creative and enjoys art in all forms; painting, drawing, collage projects. he loves viewing it too and finds beauty in even everyday things. he has an eye for detail, which also means he easily picks up on other's small habits and can usually tell if someone is pulling his leg. he's bubbly but not loud, and has an optimistic view on life.

one thing he hates is seeing injustice, and he'll stand up for the weak, even if he himself doesn't have much of a chance of winning. he doesn't like conflict and prefers if everyone could just get along, but if it's needed, he'll fight for what he believes in.[/justify]

[justify]monomania will be a tom of an average build, though with training will develop supple muscles. he'll be an all blue-coloured tomcat, thus the first part of his name, mono. he'll have pale green eyes, typically rounded wide in worry. his body language will be jittery and nervous, with stiff limbs that awkwardly limp around as if he were constantly out on a quiet, nerve-racking hunt.

[justify]even as a kit, mono will be quite nervous and borderline paranoid. he won't play as much as other kits and will constantly worry over his approaching apprenticeship. once he's apprenticed he'll calm down slightly as he'll realise it's not so bad, but he will work very hard on all of his skills, intending on perfecting them. he won't be very good at anything in particular, though with hard training will evolve into a strong fighter; he still won't meet his own standards however.

he won't care much for interaction with others but he won't be shy. mono will just be very closed-off emotionally. he won't be flirty himself but will easily fall for others being flirty to him due to low self-confidence (not that he's admitting out loud). he'll take flirtation from others to mean they are attracted to him and thus respect him, and he very much needs the validation.

he'll spend most of his time wondering how to improve himself and be perfect at everything he does, which eventually develops into ocd. he'll be nervous if caught during a spell, and can become slightly aggressive. he might even threaten anyone who witnesses him having an episode to not tell anyone else as he hates the thought of beings seen as weak.[/justify]

- - plots - -

[justify]- he'll probably end up having a few litters here and there as a young tom (8-12 moons) as he seeks self validation. it doesn't work.

- his last litter during this period might involve him hurting a she-cat, and afterwards he'll become depressed and it will further increase his maniac episodes. he'll become more paranoid of himself and start believing he can no longer control his actions.

- depending on how things go, i might try to find him a partner that helps him overcome his illnesses and see himself as worthy of love and not needing to be perfect. or, if at that point i decide there's no salvation, i'm going to do everything to push him further down the line of insanity until something awful happens - either he attacks someone needlessly and gets mortally wounded, or perhaps plunges himself into a river, convinced he has no power over his body and therefore, he must.[/justify]
