NightShadow: *My instinct was to call for help on my phone. I could call Lola, but if this was dangerous then I didn't want to drag her into it... I could also call Matt... but not only is he probably busy taking care of Chrissa, but we didn't exactly part on very good terms. I made him cry for god's sake. I couldn't ask for any favors. I was on my own. With a deep breath I walked into my living room, my eyes darting around frantically, and my muscles tensed to spring into action. The living room and kitchen where clear. I went into the hallway, the light was off. It was all dark except for an eerie blue glow coming from inside my bedroom. I crept silently towards the room, ensuring that I didn't make any noise. Once I was just outside of my bedroom, I took a deep breath and then jumped inside. There was nothing there. The blue glow was from my computer, which should be in sleep mode by now... meaning that it was probably tampered with. Nothing else looked out of place. I relaxed a little. The only place I haven't checked was the bathroom, and I doubt someone would be lurking in there. I was about to turn to go check it out anyway when a cold hand cupped over my mouth from behind and the other hand hooked my arms behind my back.*

Firetail: *When Matt comes back in with a large bowl of popcorn, he settles down next to me and I lean against him, munching away as we watch the strange animated movie until I fall asleep*

NightShadow: *I growl furiously and use my left leg to hook around my captor's left leg and lift it out from under them while head butting them and leaning back with all my strength. This causes them to start to fall backward, taking me down with them. Their grip loosens as the try to catch themselves and brace for the fall. I break free and turn to push them the rest of the way down. I crash on top of them, making them gasp in pain. I pin them down to the floor and bare my teeth as I stare them in the face. I freeze. The captor coughs and smiles weakly. * Damn, Ver... I was just trying to keep you from screaming and attacking me... *I growl and Get off of Lola.* Well you see how that turned out. What the hell are you doing here!?

Firetail: *Matt picks me up gently as to not hurt me, then takes me into the bedroom and tucks me in before returning to the living room and watching the movie again* God movies have changed....

NightShadow: *I help Lola up and sniff her out to make sure I didn't hurt her too bad. She had a bruise on her stomach and on her chin, but they were already starting to slowly heal. She brushed herself off* I was worried! You didn't answer any of my texts or calls... I was going to bring you some food since you mentioned at school that you were out...

    (It's fine lol xD)

*I sigh and look at Lola, whom was giving me a pouty look. I spend a good twenty minutes going into detail about my experience at Matt's cabin... leaving out the part about forgetting my pants though...*

*Her freely exposed ears droop a little and she gives me a warm hug and she mumbles into my ear* I see... well don't go scaring me like that... you should have at least texted me... and next time don't attack me, that hurt you know...

*I growl playfully* How about you don't sneak up and scare the hell out of me next time...?

    (Mhm Emily's correct I think.)

*Lola helps me clean up my house a bit and then we watched random movies on the tv and ate popcorn. Lola ended up falling asleep on my lap, so she ended up staying the night as well. Thoughts about Chrissa, Matt and the Devil's advocate raced through my mind as I began to fall asleep myself... and mingled with my dreams throughout the night*

    (Sorry about the wait)

*I wake up the next morning alone on the couch, but welcomed by the smell of scrambled eggs, toast and hash brown casserole. My eyes roll to the back of my head as I inhale deeply. When I look over into the kitchen, Lola is cooking away in front of the stove, humming some unknown tune. I get off the couch and ignore my sore back as I make my way over to her.* Mmmmmm~ Breakfast.... Lola you should live with me so you can cook for me every morning. *I chuckled jokingly as I hugged her from behind*
*she giggled and swished her tail against my shins.* I would cook your every meal if I lived with you Ver.

*Lola finishes with the eggs and we sit down at my little oak wood table to eat. Lola looks up at me while I eat and stares for a few seconds. I feel her looking so I look up from my plate as well with a piece of toast crust stick partially out of my mouth as I chew.* Vwut...? *I manage to mumble, uncaring that eating while talking is considered rude.*
*She blushes a little and smiles at me softly with her head tilted* You're fun to watch. *She lets out a small sigh and looks out the big living room window.* I don't know what I would do with out you, so be careful... okay?
*I swallow my piece of crust and stare blankly at her. She must still be upset about last night... I suppose I don't blame her... I really should at least text her next time...*

*As we are both finishing up breakfast, my phone starts to ring in the pocket of Matt's pants, which were stripped off some point last night. I put my plate in the sink and then rush over to the paints to pull out my phone and answer it.* Hello?
*Lola watches me as she washes our dishes*

*I look at Lola, as I know her keen ears can hear the call. She smiles a bit and nods. I look off towards the wall and nod to myself.* Yeah sure, Lola is already here with me and we were just talking about what we wanted to do today.

Alrightie~ We should be over in about ten minutes. *I hang up the phone and look at Lola*
Last I checked, you have like your own wardrobe in one of the guest bedrooms, right? *Lola giggles and walks away towards her room* I practically do live here...

*Lola gets dressed in her room and I go to my own. I can't forget my pants this time...*
*I open my closet and rummage around a bit until I find my black shirt with a drippy blue heart on it. It barely covered the stomach, so if I stretched then everyone would be able to see my belly, but I found I didn't really care if I showed off a little skin. After pulling on some dark skinny jeans and my converse, I put on one of my favorite necklaces that Lola gave me and walk out of the room. She was putting on her shoes in the living room, dressed in a white quarter-sleeve shirt with a gold design on the front in the shape of a heart and light skinny jeans. I chuckled at the fact that we were like opposites and helped her hide her tail.*

*Once both out ears and our tails are out of sight and we are fully dressed we head outside to my car and I start up the engine. I make sure Lola buckles her seat belt and then drive off to Matt's cabin at a somewhat illegal speed. When we get there I pull up the driveway and park the car, The two of us get out and Lola sniffs around* So this is the place?
*I nod* Mhm... in the middle of nowhere *I chuckle a bit and head toward the front door. Lola follows behind and peers around me to see the door when I knock on it*

*Lola and I glance at each other from the side but make no other sign or expression except for pleasant smiles as we follow Matt.* Thanks for having us *I say with a chiper voice, then a little louder I say:* Hello Chrissa~

*I notice Chrissa's discomfort, but neither Lola nor I make any movements to suggest that we noticed, knowing how pointing it out wouldn't do Chrissa any good. Despite having just ate, Lola and I eat our meal happily. Lola looks at Chrissa with a gentle and content look on her face, (which is a rare face for her to make)* This food is amazing, Chrissa. I have to admit, I admire the way you made the eggs. *I look at Lola with one eyebrow raised. Since when are you one to compliment people? She was right though... the food was in fact amazing...*
