Ai grew up in a subtle area where everybody knew everybody, and your neighbours would give you leftover desserts. She had one younger brother, one older sister, one older brother (who moved out when she was three), her ma, pa, and grandma. Growing up as a child Ai loved listening to her grandmama's stories from when she was a 'young lass'. She also often liked to help her mama cook the dinner, and became fascinated with cooking. She begun to love school shortly after her tenth birthday, and even loved doing the work. She walked to and from school everyday, and often walked home with close friends. Her family moved house when she was fourteen, which meant she had to leave her friends and acquaintances behind. Devastated, she took up writing as a hobby to clear her mind, and begun writing poems and short stories.
