    it felt as if he had been waiting forever. an eternity of sitting at the border, waiting for someone. it was every night that he wasn't studying herbs. he sat by the rocky border and waited.


    he didn't even know his own brother's name now.


    captivekit had once told a story about two brothers that were once separated. that story was his own. clenching his paws against the ground as he waited once more for his princely brother to rescue him.


    night after night, all he heard was silence and all he saw was darkness.
