Lnyxpaw sat quietly,wanting to be as stubborn as possible.

Tommy yawned,his claws were moving in and out of the soft dirt,ready to back-up Darkcloud if needed.

Rubie followed,her paws making silent pads with every step,did she feel small around all these bigger dogs,it was german shepards and golden retrievers mostly,she felt tiny.She sighed and kept on trotting.

Wrenwing lied down in a small broken window she had found earlier and smiled as the heart rays hit her fur,the expectant mother yawned,and jumped down,shaking her pelt.Her kits were due any day,life would have been perfect if Redfeather had been here,but that was the past,she could raise these kits by herself.

Tommy,knowing what Lnyxpaw would do,put his tail over the apprentice's mouth and said "I think we should give them some Darkcloud,it would only be fair,besides they are not stealing or being rude to us."

Tommy growled "Keep talkin' see what prize you will get."

Tommy snorted somewhat at the display at his name,he was not going to change it.His mother gave it to him,and she was dead,he was not going to take her gift to him away just for the praise of his clan-mates,he didn't care for critism,Lnxypaw was half-kittypet and no one ever pestered him,but this worried him deeply.

Lnxypaw spat "We don't need you help! We are perfectly capable!!!"

Tommy growled "Would you be quiet! I should have wrung your neck already!!!"
The large male flicked his tail and signalled his tail for Lnxypaw to go back home.

Lnxypaw snorted and trotted back to camp.

Wrenwing smiled "Ne neither,I wonder if one will look like Re- I mean me."

Tommy growled softly "Who ever said I was? I can tell him what to do,he is my son!"
