Jax murmered to her, "Follow me. I have something to show you."

Bay stiffened.

Apollo saw Silver and galloped towards her. He neighed out a challenge to any other male who wanted to claim her.

Bay nodded. "Yeah." She turned around and started off, yipping "Hurry up slowpoke!" Her feathery tail whipped in the air behind her as she ran.

Bay looked back at them, laughing quietly. She slowed down to a walk until they caught up. (Time lapse to Bay's house) Bay walked through the front yard with its nice gardens to the back yard. She pushed through the doggy door in the back door and into the house. She then went upstairs to Attila's room. "Are you coming?" she called.

Bay wished Cinder would notice her more, and sighed as she turned away. She set down Beethoven and went over to the garden. She lay down among the rosebushes, closing her eyes.

Apollo walked up to her and neighed softly. Coming in closer, he nuzzled her mane and looked into her dark eyes.

"Are you coming?" he growled.

Bay growled at her. "Stay here." she muttered. "I'm going to go lay down." she said to Cinder. "You can come if you want." She trotted to the older daughter's room and flopped down on the enormous soft bed.

Bay didn't stir from her position. She was slowly drifting in and out of sleep, and her thoughts were dizzy.

Bay opened her eyes.

IC: Bay sighed and jumped off the bed.

Jax growled, a dark look forming in his eyes. He lunged forward, hopefully pinning Moon to the ground under his large paws. "You'll do what I say, Moon," he snarled, "Or it won't be good for Bud."

Bay saw a tiny Pomeranian outside and quickly ran outside. She asked her, "What's wrong?"

Jax growled deeper and pushed harder on Moon's chest. "Stay out of this, Buddy." he snarled. "Moon's not going anywhere with you. Would you like to fight me?"

Bay tilted her head to one side. "You shouldn't stay out, you know," she warned. "It's not safe with all the Downtown Mutts around."

Bay growled deep in her throat. Then she turned and ran. Branches and dead leaves crackled as she raced through the woods.

Jax laughed coldly, glaring at Damien. "What's it to you, mutt?" he snarled, challenging him with his eyes. He glared at Moon and leaning down, growled in her ea, "Stop it. There's no use in fighting free. I'll kill Buddy unless you quit the act." He then threw his head up and howled a long, eerie howl. A couple of seconds later, two howls responded.
