The roof top burned the pads of her paws with the metal that was heated by the sun. Her fur was thick though. She laid down on the roof and her fur kept her from the hotness of the tin roof. She sighed. It warmed her pelt, it was comfortable, and it was peaceful.

Skye smiled. "Good morning." She replied n a good mood. She padded forwards until she reached a lake, frozen in ice. She hit her claw on the ice until it cracked and broke. Under the shattered ice layer was fresh water. She lapped the cold water up.

Together, Galaxy and Fangeye take down the last bird, one giving a bite in the neck and the other holding it down. "Finally..." she said expelling a breath. "..w-where could they be coming from??" Galaxy started to worry about Mist and HER pups...How could they survive?

Fangeye sighed. "I don't know, but that's the last of them. Now, they're gone."

Skye's ears twitched as the sound of something moving through snow caught her attention. It was a large deer. Hmm. Wonder why it is alone. Well, I can't pass up the opportunity of such large prey, especially in the winter. She dropped low to the snow and slinked slowly towards it. She flicked an ear before leaping at the huge deer. She slid her claws along its flank and bit into its hind leg. It shook Skye off and sent her tumbling into the snow. She howled for help. Large deer were hard to take down, even in a pack, imagine doing it alone.

Fangeye nodded. She licked a few wounds that the hawks gave her before standing again to shake out her pelt.

Ciora pulled herself awake. She didn't realize she had fallen asleep. She seen Mist and her pups just a little farther away than she last remembered.

Skye looked up at Flower. She then got back up and chased after the deer again. She ran until she was close enough to attack it. She snarled as she got to the deer and leaped. Her teeth grazed along its flank, yet still drawed blood.

Ciora pushed herself off of the tree and onto her feet. She looked at Mist and her pups with a new wolf. She blinked and stepped forwards, walking a little closer.

Fangeye sighed and thanked her sister for the help of foghting off the hawks.

Kora followed Sky eagerly. She had a faster pace than most wolves, allowing her to catch back up quickly. She slowed down and matched Sky's pace. Kora couldn't take the lead though, since Sky might be leader and Kora had no clue where Zayor and Sky's old camp was.

Fangeye laid down where she fought the hawks with her sister. She rested her head on her paws and sighed.

Ciora looked at a tree to the side of her. She climbed up its light brown bark and sidled along a thick but nonwide branch. She was quiet so the wolves wouldn't know she was there. She did know that her scent would also be hard to be picked up, since she was up high. Plus, if the new wolf was hostile, wolves can't climb trees.
