Keta howled. She arched her back and slinked around in fear. Two yellow eyes flickered into the darkness. They glowed in the darkness. Suddenly, they vanished and pain pulsed through her veins. Keta yelped in pain. She looked at the eyes again. Then, they vanished and Keta felt the claws slide over her pelt. She howled out. She seen the eyes again. Not this time! She leaped and pinned something. It was hard to identify, but it had fur. She knew that as her teeth dug past it. There was a shreak. Keta flinched and felt a large blow to her side and she tumbled onto the cold ground.

Flicker woke up. She shivered in the cold. Why is it so cold? She felt a thick breeze grazing through her feathers and sweeping over her flesh, sending coldness through her. She shivered and flew towards her favorite human's apartment. She tapped her beak on the window and a child slid open the window. "Hi!" She hopped in and the child closed the window behind her. She let the child pet her and she flew to a fireplace. It was warm. It felt nice.

It felt like fear was swallowing Keta whole. "No!" She yelped over the loud growls of some creature. She paused for a minute. Wait! She sensed an attack and Keta ducked under a swinging paw. Whoa! The creature stumbled to the side and flashed in glare, shocked at her counter. Keta leaped and and snapped her jaws at it.

Keta snarled. A snarl she had never bared. Her eyes flickered with fiery anger. Adrenaline pierced her heart and she leapt at the creature and the growl turned to a vicious fight with flying fur and blood. Keta had the creature in a pin. Impossible to escape from. It laughed. Keta cocked her head. It laughed harder. "You're insane!" Keta snarled. "You are." The creature's voice was horrible. It was cratchy and echoed the same as a demon's soul. "You are dark now. You are one of us." "No!" She bit the thing and she was flung into a rock and her vision blurred. Her sight was clear. She was fighting a wolf. She could see now. The wolf had robot implants. Its jaw, metal and demonic. She stare. "Why?"

He laughed. "Face it. Fighting is in your blood, Keta." Keta's yellow eyes followed to pacing wolf with the robotic implants. "You're a wolf! Wolves fight!" "No!" Keta leaped at the wolf's throat but it slid to the side. She growled and leaped again. Missed. She then leaped around him a few times and then barged her head into the wolf's flank. He yelped. It sounded robotic. She pinned him and tore at him furiously.

The robotic wolf's eyes faded the life in them. He sighed out his last breath out of his bloody muzzle. Keta's eyes watered in grief. Am I a killer? Her heart ached and some kind of light portal appeared in front of her. She slowly stepped forwards into it and exited the dark forest she entered. She was at the end. What?!

Keta sat down. She waited for her "pack". They never came out. She sighed and pulled herself up to her paws and trudged on. Now she was alone, again. She was now in a plains area. There seemed to be no end.

Creamkit followed Songkit "Hello are you ok?" Creamkit asks
Songkit skidded to a stop. She wiped her paw over her ear and laid it back onto the ground. "Yeah. I'm fine. My name's Songkit."
-
Keta howled soulfully, her cry echoing through the trees behind her and through the vallies that laid ahead. She stopped once her voice ran hoarse and her lungs screamed for air. She looked ahead with sorryful eyes.

Flicker played with the humans that she loved and chirped happily, repeating the words the humans say. The young children then walked off after a while. Flicker sighed and hunkered down by the fireplace, the warmth blowing through her feathers.

She padded along with a slower pase. "When did you get here?"

Cinnamon woke up in a vet. She yowled out. She was in a cage with stitches in her shoulder where she was bitten from the fight she had with a kittypet tom. She thrashed around and threw herself against the cage door. Her meows echoed through the room as she slammed against her prison.

Glass teleported to Keta, with a bucket of water. "Are-you-okay-there-friend?" She held out the bucket. "Drink-up. You'll-need-it." She patted Keta, then sat in front of her.
"I-I'm fine." She lapped up the water given to her. Once she was finished, she wiped excess water from her snout. "I'm Keta." How did she get here like that!? By teleportation!? Keta thought to herself. Her eyes flashed from her paws and back up at Glass.

Songkit nodded. "I came about a week ago. Wasn't too long." She moved forwards with no destination. She just kept padding ahead, pawing pebbles along the way, nervously avoiding eye contact with others.

Cinnamon threw herself against the cage one more time and fear sliced at her stomach as the cage fell from a desk and slammed the floor. Cinnamon yowled in shock and the cage door swung back and forth on its hinges. Ah ha! Should have thought of that sooner. She smirked and crawled out of the cage. Mouse dung! A large wooden door stood in the doorway, blocking her escape. Of course, twolegs are always one pawstep ahead, er step. She sighed and clawed at the door.

Fleck flapped her wings with a powerful force, pulling her way past buildings that stretched up through the clouds. She screeched and the wind carried her cry through the car blowing horns in traffic, past oak trees in the park, and around the buildings ahead.
Flicker enjoyed her pampering humans and the luxury of the apartment. She needed bird friends though. Not just human friends. She sighed and scratched at the window. The humans let her out. This'll be a challenge. Every bird I see is in their own world with their own friends and their own families. How am I supposed to meet birds and get allies? She soared with her tiny wings beating quickly.

Dusk mewled at her twolegs. They let her out of the house after refusing for a while since she climbed the neighbors' roof. She pulled herself up the fence and peered ahead, her bright blue eyes shining.
