Day kept his distance, but wondered why the girl wouldn't fly away. Was she hurt? No, she didn't look like she was. Maybe since her wings were wet she couldn't take off? That was probably more likely. The felid continued keeping an eye on her, but stayed out of the way. If the avian attempted anything, he could at least get a good head start.

Day's eyes widened when she spotted him. The avian, however, seemed just as surprised as him. Cautiously, he raised a pale hand upwards to show he was unarmed and couldn't hurt her. She would remember he was the one who waved to her, right? Maybe? His tail swished as he paused with his hand in the air, wondering what she would do next. Probably fly away, but the felid doubted she would get far with her obviously damp wings.

Kay stayed off to the side, allowing the deer dog and its girl to pass. Angrily, he came out from behind the tree and approached Spade. "You're not a firebender!" He exclaimed, eyes dark, "You can't tell someone something like that when it's not even your own element!" He usually didn't get angry like this, but he was very protective of his element.
-
Kay shook his head before turning to look down the trail the water girl had come from. "Who was she? She was practicing all of the elements... only the Avatar can do that, right?" He asked, curious. Why had she been so eager to leave?

Cyborg wanted to vanish into mist. "What? No, she must've been joking," He stuttered, grinning despite the awkwardness. Raven had a crush.... on him?!
-
Slowly, the boy moved up on her left. She was obviously not here to spy or attack, so he felt he could trust her. The look in her eyes meant she had recognized him, but they were both still cautious of each other. Day finally stopped about three feet away. "Hey... You okay?" He asked, voice soft. His muscles were tense, ready to spring away if necessary. He felt almost stupid, being so wary when the avian didn't even seem nervous.

Feeling a bit awkward due to her obvious comfort here, He sat down where he was and proceeded to inspect the avian. Her wings were beautiful- a crystal, sea-blue color. He wished he could fly high like she could. After a few minutes, the silence got to bee to much for Day. "Um... what's your name?" He asked, then hastily added, "I'm just curious, it's okay if you don't want to answer or anything..."
-
"I'm Daniel," The felid replied, "But most people call me Day." His blue eyes warmed up a bit at the girl, glad she was friendly. A grin spread across his face. "So, you're an avian, huh? How's it like to be able to... y'know... fly?" He asked. Sure, he had the balance and agility of a cat, but he was still confined to the island. Ren, however, could go anywhere she wanted.

Rachel waved to Chance as she saw him, jogging over. "Hey Chance," She greeted, "Seems like a good day for running, eh?" She grinned and looked towards the food house, stretching as they walked. Her eyes were constantly on alert and roving around, looking at everyone and everything that moved.
Chad finally got up and put all of his things together neatly before heading off to find some breakfast. He saw the Runners gathering together and made sure to give them space. He noticed Jessica walking up too and waved. She was nice. "Hey Jess!"

Oh! Ok. Here you go! A black and white esquelerro please :)
1/60 Let's do this again!Nix loved the cemetery. He played there all the time.
2/60Nix padded down the main path. The soft, packed dirt felt cool beneath his paws.
3/60The glowing silver she-kit leaped on top of a grave.
4/60Nix glanced around curiously. Tonight was Halloween!
5/60The she-kit crept around the cemetery. If she could find the road, perhaps she could find some candy.
6/60
Nix found the road, which was quiet. No monsters travelled it today, but she was still cautious.
7/60Nix padded back towards the forest. Urban areas weren't her style.
8/60Nix heard a car coming. She quickly hid in some nearby bushes.
9/60Nix spotted a bat flying in the night sky.
10/60Nix sprang back to her home swiftly.
11/60Nix laid down on the cool earth, her eyes and ears alert.
12/60Nix glanced around curiously.
13/60She heard a rustling noise, which was weird. Nothing lived out here except her.
14/60Nix crouched lower in her earthen nest, watching her surroundings warily.
15/60The sound was suddenly behind her. Nix jumped to her paws in surprise.
16/60An esqulerro came it of the bushes. Nix sighed. It wasn't uncommon to see one of those around.
17/60Nix bounded over to the beast. "Hey!"
18/60Nix cocked her head curiously. "Hello?" She called. The esqulerro didn't move.
19/60She sat and waited for it to do something.
20/60The skeletal creature turned and ran suddenly.
21/60Nix jumped to her feet. "Hey!"
22/60Nix barreled after the fleeing dog-thing.
23/60Nix raced after the esqulerro, determined not to let it get away.
24/60Nix stumbled over a tree root.
25/60Nix looked up, but the thing was gone already.
26/60Nix sighed. She'd wanted to meet that guy.
27/60The she-kit stood up and trotted back to her hollow-
28/60Nix soon found her home mussed up and destroyed.
29/60Nix was shocked. Who would do such a thing?
30/60Nix searched for a scent, but found none.
31/60Nix sighed angrily and sat down.
32/60Nix went to work rebuilding her nest.
33/60It wasn't too bad. Nix was done in a few minutes.

35/60Nix sniffed the air for prey.
36/60Nix scented a mouse nearby.
37/60Nix stalked the small creature, her silver fur bristling.
38/60Nix could hear it rustling around. She grinned in anticipation.
39/60Nix pounced high in the air.
40/60She landed on the mouse, killing it with her weight.
41/60Grinning, she licked her paws clean and sat to eat her catch.
42/60Nix dug in. She had been starving!
43/60The silver kit was soon finished.
44/60She dug a hole and buried the remains swiftly
45/60The thought of the esquelerro briefly crossed her mind.
46/60Nix trotted back to her cove home.
47/60Nix stopped by the stream on her way there.
48/60Nix took a few long sips.
49/60Nix spotted a sleek fish in the water.
50/60Laughing, she chased after it.
51/60The silver kit splashed water everywhere in her pursuit.
52/60Nix chased the fish until it quickly slipped away.
53/60Nix jumped back onto the shore.
55/60The silver kit sighed and stared up at the stars.
56/60She looked around briefly, loving this moment of peace.

"Great day, huh?" Chad said, smiling a bit. He knew Jess wanted to be a Runner, and believed she could indeed be one, but the Runners hadn't quite accepted her yet. "I wonder what's for breakfast today." His stomach rumbled at the thought.
