Whitepaw, nodded, smiling a bit. At least Foxstar planned on teaching him something fun first. He was definitely interested in hunting over learning how to fight, so it would be more fun to him. Hearing Borwnleg's words, he turned over to him. "Oh, why thank you." he said simply. He new that the tom was from the old clan, though he wasn't sure if where his loyalties stood at current. He'd just have to play things safe for now, and assume that everyone was his enemy.
Wolfscar nodded, then turned to Whitepaw. "Whitepaw, would you mind waking Lionpaw for me?" he asked. "Make sure you two get some food in you, and come get me when you're done. We'll leave when you're ready."
Whitepaw nodded, turning to go get Lionpaw up. So far so good, though he knew it was going to be a long while till his suspicion was cleared and he was accepted as a SavageClan cat.
-
"He's definitely well trained thus far, but we will still have to watch him closely for the time being." Wolfscar said. "I have no doubt he'll be a loyal cat, but you never know. Some cats are very impressionable." he said, looking over at Brownleg, then quietly to his brother said. "I think we should keep those two as far away from each other as possible." Referring to Whitepaw and Brownleg.
-
Whitepaw walked over to Lionpaw, seeing he was now awake. "Good morning, Lionpaw." He said. "Wolfscar asked me to wake you. We're heading out on patrol with Sootnose and him after we eat." He explained, trying to be as friendly as possible, which wasn't too hard. He didn't have any quarrel with him, so being genuinely kind was quite simple.
Wolfscar nodded. "As you wish, Foxstar." He said, not exactly agreeing, but realising it wasn't an argument he was going to win. Though they were clan mates now, Brownleg was very rebellious, and Wolfscar didn't want him to put any ideas into Whitepaw's mind. So far, things were fine, but he'd be watching the two closely.

Blackfur stretched a bit, still only just waking as the morning sunlight filtered into the den. He didn't really care for mornings, really. Getting up was horrible after nice long hours of sleep. Regardless, he managed to get up, yawning as he padded out of the warriors den. There weren't many other cats up it seemed, but a few walked around the camp. He looked around for his apprentice, wondering if Hawkpaw was up yet.
-
(When ShadowMr.L and I first had this idea, we thought it'd be better to make the territory progressively through all of your input and through the role play. Nothing is set, but we imagine IvyClan having a more swamp like territory. Hope that helps ^.^)
Blackfur himself gave a nod of greeting, seeing Splitface muttering to herself again. He decided not to ask about it and instead went to the apprentices den to see if he could get his own apprentice, Hawkpaw out of their nest.
-
"Good morning Palestar!" Blackfur called as he began padding over. "A 'wonderful' morning, hm?" He asked, putting sarcastic emphasis on wonderful. "I'm well, thank you, and yourself?" He asked his leader politely, making conversation as to let Hawkpaw get a bit more sleep if not just for the sake of a conversation.
-
"Well isn't someone just as lively as ever." Blackfur said jokingly. "Anyway, if you're going on a patrol perhaps Hawkpaw and I could join you." He said, looking over at the apprentice den. "If he ever gets up, that is."
(That was the intent :3 )
-
Blackfur nodded, walking to the apprentice den to go and wake Hawkpaw. He had let him sleep long enough. He hoped that his apprentice was at least awake at this point and just relaxing in his nest.
-
Whitepaw padded over to the pile, picking out a mouse for himself, sitting down and beginning to eat it. He ate rather slowly, enjoying the taste of the mouse. He had to admit, even though it was for a clan who took over his own, going on his first patrol was kind of exciting to think about.
-
"After we go out on a patrol." Blackfur promised. "We're going out with Splitface soon, so get ready." he said, whiskers twitching in amusement at his apprentices clumsiness. "You still seem pretty tired." He noted. "Something keep you up last night?"
-
Seeing that Lionpaw had finished, Whitepaw started to hurry a bit, not wanting to hold up the group. He finished not long after, and walked over to Wolfscar to tell him that he was ready.
Wolfscar saw him on his way over before Whitepaw even had to say anything. "All set?" he asked the apprentice, then looked at Sootnose. "We're ready when you are." he said, seeing Lionpaw was ready as well.
-
Blackfur nodded to Palestar. "Yes, of course we can!" He called over to her. Hunting training before a bit of fighting sounded fine by Blackfur. Looks like they'd be covering a bit of everything today.
-
Wolfscar nodded. Sootnose and himself could make sure everything was alright. "Lets get going." He said, leading the patrol out of the camp. "We should pay more attention the the boarder with JetClan." he said to Sootnose. "IvyClan is too indifferent to do anything anyway. I'm not to worried about them."
Whitepaw listened and followed Sootnose and Wolfscar out of the camp. "But we should still watch the boarder, right? Just because they don't seem to care about us doesn't mean they can't start to." he pointed out.
"Well... Yes of course, but for now we shouldn't focus to much on it unless we have reason to." Wolfscar said. "Though it is good for us to make sure that everything is all good everywhere."
-
"A worthy opponent if any..." Wolfscar said. "But still, many of the JetClan members don't exactly agree with our actions... It wouldn't surprise me if a few tried to take matters into their own hands." he said to Sootnose. "Lets spend a little time at each, but I'd like to spend a bit more time checking out the JetClan boarder, if its all the same to you."
Whitepaw listened intently, not only trying to learn, but trying to see which clans, if any, would be willing to try and help reclaim RockClan when the time came.
-
"Oh- AH- Hey!" Blackfur said, kind of surprised by how quickly he just bolted off. "Wait for the rest of the patrol!" he called, trying to follow after quickly so not to lose sight of the apprentice.
-
Whitepaw noticed that Lionpaw was looking at him, but didn't really make a scene of it. He knew he was suspicious, so it was likely he'd be treated differently for a bit. He'd earn their trust eventually... Or at least he hoped.
Wolfscar nodded, as they eventually came to the JetClan boarder. He turned to the apprentices, making sure to try and teach them something. "Alright, so this is the boarder." he said. "Anything particular you can tell me you pick out right away?" he asked, more to Whitepaw than to Lionpaw.
"Well... It smell a lot different..." Whitepaw said. "Would that be JetClan scent?" he asked.
"Yes. It is, very good." Wolfscar said. "Learn that scent well... If I'm right, this is the scent you'll wanna look out for." he instructed. "You'll want to make sure that you don't scent them on our side of the boarder."
-
"I personally am most concerned about Ni- I mean SavageClan." Blackfur said. "We just need to make sure they don't plan on extending their territory more than they already have... So long as they aren't on our land, I don't care where they go."
-
"To be fair, they didn't agree to anything." Blackfur explained. "They were forcefully taken over. There was nothing they could do about it. NightClan was just too strong." he said. "Its a tragedy, but it isn't our problem, and I'd like to keep it that way."
-
"We can hunt on the way back if you wish." Wolfscar said. "But right now, no." he said. "Focus on the patrol for now. Keep a look out for any scents that don't belong." he directed his apprentice.
Whitepaw began sniffing around, remembering the scent for later.
"So, Lionpaw, anything out of place here?" he asked his apprentice. "Besides, the bird?"
-
"The boarder isn't far now." Blackfur said. "Remember, keep a look out for anything weird. If you scent anything unfamiliar tell one of us." he said to his apprentice. "You never know with SavageClan anymore..."
